I feel like Skyspawner warrants some consideration for sure. Also, does Herald of Kozilek do anything for us? Its a 3 drop for emerge, and makes quite a bit of things cost less.

It reduces the emerge cost by 4, once, but if I were to put a 3 drop in, I'd use Matter Reshaper over Skyspawner or Herald.
The Pilgrim's Eye are in Gerry T's build of the U/R Emerge deck that was posted on SCG Premium site last Friday. He is using them as sacrifice fodder to use towards the emerge cost since they are 3 cmc. Though Gerry's build is running more creatures then spells (22 creatures / 13 spells) and using EDF as the finisher instead of trying to get to Ulamog.

This is the list Gerry Thompson put together for SCG Premium (forgive the horrible formatting, I'm terrible at this). Honestly not a HUGE fan since I love being more reactive. Wouldn't even consider this UR Eldrazi Control, it feels more of a Midrange deck tbh.
What do you guys think of running 3 Hedron Archives? I've cut one and it seems do be doing just fine. In my opinion 4 is A LOT for a card I rarely tap out turn 4 with. Thoughts?
I agree, although sanctum chaining deep-fiends seems pretty cool. I could definitely see cutting a hedron archive, but it depends on what you're cutting it for.

I think this is my problem with jamming emerge creatures into this deck... 'it seems pretty cool'.
If you really look at it, though, the value of emerge is casting it early for an advantage... Turn 3 Matter Reshaper, into Turn 4 Elder Deep-Fiend, but on Turn 4, can you really afford to sac Sanctum of Ugin? I'm thinking with only 25 lands (no Mage-Ring), the answer is likely 'No'. Of course you can later, but if you are paying 'fair' mana-cost for the Emerge creatures, there may be better value elsewhere and I'm not sure I'd go UR at that point. [If I'm being super-critical of his list, I also don't like that 6 of the 10 3-drops used for acceleration die to new Liliana's +1 ability. That will be a tempo killer.]
I'm interested to see if this deck has legs post rotation or what colors it shifts into, UB may be a strong control combination with some combo potential...
I went 3-0 at my LGS last night. Played against G/W Human aggro, Seasons Past, and Bant CoCo. I ran 2 Skyspawners along with the Elder Deep-Fiends. I didnt change much from the pre EMN package.

Just a thought......having played this deck extensively before ENM, and wanted to to update with the possibility of Emerge and emerge targets.
Skyspawner has merit, but it literally dies to everything (especially to new lili)....so what about added 4x Hanweir Garrison and Hanweir Battlements...
it live thru Koz Return, and can require removal from OP, the combo with Battlement is pretty real in this deck (as well as Battlement is pretty juicy on all creatures, and it taps for colorless)....if nothing else(Garrison) its a good emerge target for EDF. thoughts?
This is what I ran. Honestly, I didn't have enough time to tweak it. I got the Elder Deep-field in the mail and made room for it and ran to the store. I'll probably try to make room for Sanctum of Ugin main board.
So I've been playing Temur Eldrazi with good success. The 4 Kozilek's Return and playing World Breaker to flash them back had been amazing. I'm just worried now.
Selfless Spirit is hard for us to deal with as it negates Chandra and K-Return, as well as Avacyn. Thalia making our creatures come into play tapped makes Chandra bad and doesn't allow our big creature to stabilize.
I'm not sure if we need to count done on our counters and play Fiery Impulse mainboard now, maybe move to Pyromancer's Goggles and burn spells to help stabilize? It just seems relying on 1 big card(Return or Chandra) to help us stabilize isn't going to cut it moving forward.
RE: Thalia, She dies to spatial contortion, and if you play EDF, you can flash it on their turn, tap their team down, maybe flashback k-return, and its untapped for your next turn. Drowner can still tap down two dudes even if you can't block. Ulamog still exiles two permanents and can flashback k-return. I'm running 4 k-return, 4 contortion, and 3 EDF alongside 9 counters. I think the matchups are fair.
How does this have a good Seasons Past matchup?? I can't see how it's better than 50%
pretty sure Season's Past is a free win. Their deck is all removal which does nothing while we have all counter spells. They have zero clock which allows us to just play an Ulamog.
I dunno, maybe it was variance or maybe it was just bad keeps, but I was doing some playtesting against BW Angels, and I felt slightly unfavored.
How many games did you play and how did you lose in those games?
Something like 10 games, and it was almost always to a resolved planeswalker after 2-3 turns of hand disruption starting form T1. Once was to a Brisela. It wasn't onesided, but it was slightly in the BW deck's favor.
I was curious if anyone has tried running Unsubstantiate yet? I'm new to the deck, but feel like the only games I've lost are to a resolved fatty that is too big for Spatial Contortion and beats me into the ground over a few turns. Also, I feel like it slows the game down, is good against Selfless Spirit, interesting against Spell Queller, or it can allow us to recast our creatures for ETB effects: I'm looking at you Elder Deep-Fiend... Thoughts?

Looks similar to what I've been thinking about running, running Matter Reshaper instead of Pilgrim's Eye, a card I had totally forgotten about.

Former YGO player so Card Advantage is ALWAYS king in my decks.

Why do you think the matchup is bad?
Almost any B/x control/midrange deck is a free win for this deck.
