I very much so want to add in Knight of the White Orchid, but with 2 Mountains and 4 Ally Encampments, that just doesn't seem feasible.
Kytheon, Hero of Akros is another strong possibility but I still believe I'd rather be running 2x Gideon, Ally of Zendikar over Kytheon (even with Kytheon's aggressive stats).
This manabase could be finagled with a little more for the inclusion of Fetchlands and such, but for the most part I was building the manabase to withstand the rotation coming in a few months. It seems we came to similar conclusions on a decklist. I'm not entirely sold on Bone Saw even if it does cost 0 mana to play and 1 to equip for this deck. Stoneforge Masterwork just seems superior and can turn any creature into a large threat with a couple other allies on board.
Referring to Reckless Bushwhacker, I feel he is an Auto-4-of in any strategy that is looking to beat down with a swarm of tiny creatures. Being able to Surge him with an Expedition Envoy, Stoneforge Acolyte, Kor Bladewhirl, Relic Seer, Stone Haven Outfitter, or Weapons Trainer seems extremely feasible and brings us back to the same power-level as Goblin Bushwhacker from the old Zendikar days (giving Haste and +1/+0 to your creatures until EOT).
21 Lands also seems a little low to be running 4x Gideon, Ally of Zendikar. I could see running 2 or 3 copies, but the 4th could be moved to the sideboard for Control matchups.
Just my two cents. If your decklist works however, then keep on grinding.
I'm not entirely sold on having all 4 CIPT lands in an Aggro deck, but I'm willing to give it a shot for the time being. There are 12x 1-mana spells in this deck that you are looking to cast on Turn 1, so it's hard justifying the time to play multiple CIPT lands. This deck gets an edge against other decks because it needs to be aggressive as quickly as possible.
I just purchased 4x which should be arriving next week in the mail, so I plan on testing between 2-4 copies of Needle Spires.
Relic Seeker + Toll Collector + Outfitter is a nice combo. A big disadvantage to this sort of deck is that aggro decks need consistency and equipment necessarily forces you to draw potentially dead cards, so having Relic Seeker lets you cut a lot of the actual equipment cards from the deck and still keep the engine running.
I think you probably want to go down to maybe 5 equipment slots total in favor of being more threat dense. With more threats, the Seekers will get through more often, and your cruddy hands full of redundant equipment will happen less. You only ever actually need one or two to make the deck run, and you almost never need it before turn 3. At least for testing purposes, Seeker gives you the ability to have a toolbox, so you may as well be running 1 ofs. Possibilities: Stormrider Rig, Strider Harness, Sword of the Animist, Stoneforge Masterwork, Sigil of Valor. Captain's Claws is the only equipment that scales in a useful way to run more than 1, with Seeker in the deck.
I also think Pia and Kiran Nalaar is the finisher of choice for the deck (creates evasive tokens for equipment and a sac effect for Outfitter, gives a use for excess equipment and a way to clear blockers). There might be room for a handful of Collateral Damage, too.
Okay, so I first read about the Boros Equipment deck on MTG Goldfish and was instantly hooked. I took my deck to FNM tonight and came in first! Let me tell you, this deck can win on turn 4 and I made that happen. Here is what I ran tonight.
So tonight was three rounds with no cut. Top three get prizes.
Round 1: G/R Landfall 2-0
The first game I played turn 1 Expedition Envoy and was able to swing twice before he dropped a creature. He landed 2 Makindi Sliderunner and a Scythe Leopard and I was really worried. I was able to play 2 Weapons Trainer and he was playing very defensively. He didn't realize that as soon as I dropped my Firemantle Mage and then surged Reckless Bushwhacker that I would be swinging for more than 20 damage.
Game 2 he got me down to 4 life with a single Makindi Sliderunner. I was sitting on a roast the entire game thinking if I should play it or not. Well after he hit me for 12 life the previous turn I had to roast his only creature. He never drew another one. I should have done that way earlier.
Round 2: U/G Eldrazi Ramp 2-1
Game one was close. I didn't have a very aggressive start and he landed Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and colorlessly burned away all of my creatures. I scooped.
This deck is really good. This competed and won against top tier decks. I plan to play this deck this standard season. This is a great FNM deck. The fetchlands are not necessary but not one time did I have an issue with land.
Firemantle Mage. He provides with with menace and for an aggro deck, we could not ask for more. Bone Saw - This needs to be played. This is a free surge enabler for Reckless Bushwacker. Captain's Claws - This will be a 4 of next week. This gives us another creature that they have to block and if the bushwhacker was surged, it's a 2/1 and if you have a Weapons Trainer and an equipment its a 3/1 ALMOST FOR FREE.
Biggest Losers:
Gideon, Ally of Zendikar - I didn't play him once and didn't want to. He's to slow for this deck. I plan to either move him to the sideboard only or remove him altogether. I'm thinking 2 sideboard for control decks only.
Stoneforge Masterwork - Sure it's a good card. However, free surge enabler Bone Saw and free creature creator Captain's Claws are more equipped to do what we want them to do. Eh, did you see what I did there, equipped?!
Anyway, I hope this deck is treating you all very well. If you have any questions about my deck or play strategy please let me know. Happy gaming!
I'm liking the look of either Kor Bladewhirl or Lantern Scout. I'm leaning more towards the bladewhirl because the opponent already has a hard time deciding how they will block with menace. Why not make it more difficult? Also, we might be able to keep a creature alive when it would have traded and died.
Captain's Claws - This will be a 4 of next week. This gives us another creature that they have to block and if the bushwhacker was surged, it's a 2/1 and if you have a Weapons Trainer and an equipment its a 3/1 ALMOST FOR FREE
Reckless Bushwhacker will not pump the Kor Ally tokens put onto the field by Captain's Claws, unless those tokens were already on the field before you declared your attackers. Bushwacker only pumps your team when it enters the battlefield (if you payed its surge cost), any creatures that enter the battlefield after it will not benefit from its +1/+0 effect.
You're correct. I should have clarified. I was talking about the tokens that were previously on the battlefield. I can see how what I wrote was misleading. They would only be 2/1's because the surge cost was paid before they entered the battlefield in this situation since they will still get the pump from Weapons Trainer.

Congrats on goign 3-0.
Lantern Scout might be a good SB card against aggro and Atarka Red. It can save you games.
I am guessing that the deck isn't resilient to board wipe effects. Let's hope that those answers stay out of opposing sideboards!
Gideon, Ally of Zendikar might be worth keeping in the sideboard to bring in for matchups that you know will side in a lot of board wipes against you. The deck really just needs one creature to start rebuilding its battlefield with captain's claws, and Gideon is the currently the best creature token making Planeswalker right now. Needle Spires is also an option, but requires 6 untapped lands to activate it, equip captain's claws, and then attack.
Come to think of it Kytheon, Hero of Akros might be worth testing even though it isn't an ally. With this deck it will be easy to flip, and aside from the 4/4 indestructible part of Gideon, Battle-forged, its +1 makes a creature indestructible and provides pseudo vigilance, it can also force opponent's to attack with their biggest creature and as a result makes it so they have one less blocker. Not to mention the fact that it costs only W to cast and therefore will make it a lot easier to pay the surge cost of Reckless Bushwhacker than any other Planeswalker.

That's excluding any equipments that you may have in your hand that you can drop on subsequent turns to keep on the pressure.
That opening hand would be great. I don't know how many Kytheon, Hero of Akros I would run but it would be worth a shot. The only issue then is that if Gideon, Ally of Zendikar is out and he flips, one of them will die.
The most expensive card in the deck is Gideon, Ally of Zendikar so I don't know how beneficial having another 1 drop is. I will probably drop my two Cliffside Lookout for two Kytheon, Hero of Akros.
I'm thinking the deck will look like this on Friday.
While make a stand has the added benefit of also being an aggressive card the deck can use to pump the team over other boardwipe protection, I wonder if it still won't be enough since it is totally useless against Languish and Flaying Tendrils. Tendrils in particular is bad for this deck since it also robs the player of Stone Haven Outfitter's death triggers that would refuel their hand.
If anything Outpost siege might be the best sideboard catch-all available to this deck since it can be cast to help rebuild after a boardwipe and cast when the board is full to discourage opponents from casting a board wipe when they get low on life. However it still folds to an opponent casting World Breaker, exiling the enchantment and then letting the 7 CMC cast trigger of Kozilek's return resolve. Then again I feel that's far enough into the game to be acceptable since this is an aggro deck. If the opponent is still alive to cast a 7 CMC creature then the aggro strategy has already failed.

I'm just spicing in my reply to this post rather than post again so soon. In my opinion I'd look at taking out Stoneforge Acolyte, unless you found that card to be better in testing. My reasoning for this is because you're playing an aggro deck and the cohort mechanic actively discourages you from tapping your creatures to attack. I'll be interested in seeing your opinion on this.
@TheUnseen. 2 x Kytheon's should work fine as you don't want to draw more than 2. Plus you've pointed out that it's a nonbo with Gideon, Ally of Zendikar if flipped.
Collateral Damage might be worth running. There will be tokens to sacrifice and 3 damage could close off matches.

Pretty good suggestion.
Anybody try playtesting with Wild Slash/Fiery Impulse?
This is where I am currently at I could see me adding 2 gideon to the sideboard and experiment with them main apart from that id like to try 2-3 kytheon main and makindi aeronaut has been surprisingly good as a 2 of and may warrant being pushed to a 3 or 4 of the 2 cliffside lookout

I'd hate to drop Stoneforge Acolyte only because I had one game where I actually needed to find an equipment and fast. However, I haven't tested the deck enough to actually know if he is absolutely necessary. The other reason is that we absolutely must have the surge cost of reckless bushwhacker. Some games I only got to 4 mana and had to decide which cards to play prior to the bushwhacker. The more 1cmc cards we have the better. Honestly, unless the opponent is playing aggro or board wipe we've got a very good shot.
This is also a good argument AGAINST Stoneforge Masterwork. If they wipe the board, masterwork does nothing for us. However, Captain's Claws does. This wasn't part of my response to you, this was just bringing up another opinion I had.
Lastly, we need not forget the second ability on Ally Encampment. End of turn sack to return reckless bushwhacker to our hand into another surge combat on our turn is awesome. The best part is that this is pre pro-tour so no one knows this is coming or how to play against it. Not that I'm saying the pros will be playing this but it honestly looks like a good contender. I look forward to your thoughts @DarklingScribe.

I like the idea of Makindi Aeronaut but the 2cmc is what is killing that card. If that was 1cmc it would be an absolute replacement for Cliffside Lookout. Flying is huge, but I think that aggro decks should rely on combat tricks to get into the air opposed to creatures especially if they have to sacrifice speed to do so. What do you think?
Been tinkering with the idea of a Boros/RW Ally Equipment Deck with OGW. So far this is where I'm at in the building process.

Currently there is no sideboard since I'm not sure what to expect yet. However throwing a few key elements for the sideboard to solidify matchups seems fairly simple for now until a more established metagame forms.
Sword of the Animist was a thought as equipments 9 & 10, but I felt there were just better quality cards that should be added beforehand. Most of the other Equipment options seem lack luster so I did not include them.
I think before I would even consider Sword of the Animist, I would want at least 2x Gideon, Ally of Zendikar (possibly 4).

Sideboard: -2 Gideon, Ally of Zendikar -2 Cliffside Lookout +4 Roast
Game 2 he got me down to 4 life with a single Makindi Sliderunner. I was sitting on a roast the entire game thinking if I should play it or not. Well after he hit me for 12 life the previous turn I had to roast his only creature. He never drew another one. I should have done that way earlier.
Round 2: U/G Eldrazi Ramp 2-1
Game one was close. I didn't have a very aggressive start and he landed Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and colorlessly burned away all of my creatures. I scooped.
Sideboard: -2 Gideon, Ally of Zendikar -2 Stoneforge Masterwork +4 Roast
Game 2 played much differently. He played 3 Jaddi Offshoot and tried to gain a ton of life. I got my board to a Weapons Trainer equipped with Captain's Claws, 1 Firemantle Mage. The next turn I played an Expedition Envoy, Firemantle Mage and a surge cost Reckless Bushwhacker and swung for a ton of damage. I sacked an Ally Encampment to return Reckless Bushwhacker to my hand and then played a Bone Saw and the bushwhacker for surge and won.
In game 3 he played a Leaf Gilder and I used a roast. He didn't draw a land or ramp creature and I just flooded with creatures. Easy game 3.
Round 3: 4 Color Rally 2-0
In game 1 I played and swung with Expedition Envoy past his Jace, Vryn's Prodigy because he wouldn't block. Well I assembled the team of Weapons Trainer a Captain's Claws and a Stone Haven Outfitter which I equipped. He scooped because he knew he was way to far behind at that point.
Sideboard: -2 Gideon, Ally of Zendikar -2 Cliffside Lookout -1 Stoneforge Acolyte -1 Firemantle Mage +4 Rending Volley +4 Roast
Game two was tricky. He had 2 Sidisi's Faithful 1 Jace, Vryn's Prodigy and 1 Reflector Mage that had returned Weapons Trainer to my hand. I already had another Weapons Trainer on the field along with 2 Expedition Envoy I was able to drop a Stone Haven Outfitter and surge a Reckless Bushwhacker but he had 3 life. He played another Reflector Mage and returned the Stone Haven Outfitter. Had he returned the Firemantle Mage he could have blocked. He realized it right after he did it too.
Overall Thoughts:
This deck is really good. This competed and won against top tier decks. I plan to play this deck this standard season. This is a great FNM deck. The fetchlands are not necessary but not one time did I have an issue with land.
MVP:
Reckless Bushwhacker. Honestly, this care won the majority of the games.
Runners Up

Lantern Scout might be a good SB card against aggro and Atarka Red. It can save you games.
I am guessing that the deck isn't resilient to board wipe effects. Let's hope that those answers stay out of opposing sideboards!
I could easily see a perfect hand with Kytheon going:
Turn 1, Expedition Envoy.
Turn 2, Kor Bladewhirl, attack with the envoy for 2.
Turn 3, Kytheon, Hero of Akros, Reckless Bushwacker for the surge cost, swing for 11 damage with first strike, then Kytheon flips.
That's excluding any equipments that you may have in your hand that you can drop on subsequent turns to keep on the pressure.
@Darkling Scribe. I was thinking of Kytheon as well. I think it's a good card for a deck that wants to be aggressive and attack.
Make a Stand might hold up well against board wipes but you have to leave 3 mana up.
That opening hand would be great. I don't know how many Kytheon, Hero of Akros I would run but it would be worth a shot. The only issue then is that if Gideon, Ally of Zendikar is out and he flips, one of them will die.

Anybody try playtesting with Wild Slash/Fiery Impulse?
EDIT: Although itd do nothing against Flaying Tendrils
Rally the Ancestors can bring back most of the deck and will be cheaper to cast than March. But Flaying Tendrils will be bad.
