What's everybody doing against mono B? That deck is such a thrashing. Normally I win game 1, and it is a matter of them messing up game 2 or 3. Harness by Force was a good start as it can swing the game, but they are already boarding in X number of duress to stop extra planeswalker shenanigans.

(Keep in mind that my sb was geared towards what I predicted the metagame at my LGS would be last Friday. Overall I was pretty spot on.)
The biggest drawback that R/G Monsters has in my opinion is that even with Domri the deck can run out of gas and lacks reach. Last Friday I tested the above list, but with only 2 Mana Confluence and 2 Kruphix ( I had an additional Xenagod in it's place). The games I drew Kruphix and was able to play him were significantly different than those where I didn't. I think it provides what the deck has been lacking; the aforementioned reach and card advantage. I had at least one match where I had Courser, Domri, and Kruphix on the field at the same time and I literally was able to control what the top of my deck was. My initial testing with the above build has shown a lot of promise so far. My sideboard is usually in more flux than my main board. The Boros Charms completely over performed each match I brought them in and drew them, even winning me at least 2 matches with the 4 damage to target player. I typically brought them in against decks with a lot of removal (would have brought them in against control as well but didn't face any control decks that night). Plummet is for D-Demon and Archangel. Can also be used against opposing Stormbreaths in a pinch. Anger was because I though I'd face more aggro decks than I did, although they were certainly there. Also brought them in against Junk to kill opposing ramp and Voices.
Phoenix: should some part of the Mana Confluence be M15 pain lands? Hadn't considered splashing Keranos as another almost-planeswalker in builds wanting to go a little longer
Hey guys, I've been trying to brew a post rotation deck, and decided some G/r Devotion looked fun (after drafting mostly monstrous creatures and having a blast wit them). I've kept out cards that will be rotating soon as I wont be getting the deck until full Khans spoilers are out.
mootown, sorry for the late reply. It's entirely possible some of the pain lands would work out well. My main reason for going with Mana Confluence was to be sure I always had the correct color I needed. While I did like splashing for Keranos I've since moved on to testing something else (although I still think Keranos is entirely reasonable). My current list is this:
The Mana Confluence are now mostly for the sideboard cards. Nissa has been FANTASTIC so far. I've won games lately that I wouldn't have otherwise because of her. The Whip and Boros Charms have been working out very well too.

What do you think of -1 Chandra, +1Nissa, -2 God of Revels +2 Mortars. Also May be ditch the.Confluence route and add.some Mutavaults?

Thanks for any feedback!
