I'd cut -1 Brimaz -1 Grand Master -1 Magma Jet, +2 Monastery Mentor +1 Seeker.
Monastery Mentor is more oriented for the Jeskai Tokens variation...
IMHO the mentor is an auto include in any decks that runs 20+ non creature spells and plays white. Just because he makes tokens doesn't mean he should only be played in a tokens deck.

got your point..now the real question...is he should be played with Rabble or just replace rabble entirely?

I have to do more testing to decide but I think he is strong enough to be a straight up replacement. The downside is stoke the flames will be less effective.

that's a big deal...beeing able to cast stoke for less than 4 or for free is a huge tempo swing..not sold on him yet..
and what about Monastery Siege? is it good enough for main board or just a sb material?

I'm still playing 4 outbursts and now I'm trying to incorporate 4 swiftspears too. I'm thinking of playing straight up jeskai aggro/burn with no ascendancy and playing with mostly non come into play tapped (4 confluences, 4 reefs, 4 forges, 4 flooded strands) and play 1-2 grandmasters to compensate the damage from tapping.
Do we think it could be worth maindecking one or two Disdainful Strokes? In my testing sans Chandra, I'm still unsure about my Mantis Riders and am thinking that they just might be better as Strokes to really help us game one v Whip decks. But I suppose, against Heroic or Mono-Red decks (for example), they are just dead draws.
I'm also considering going with a 3 Seeker 1 Rider split, just because a Rider late game is quite better than Seeker - in that it can be a bolt to the face, sometimes even twice.

i found it easier to run 4 Shivan Reef, 4 Battlefield Forge, 3 Flooded Strand, 2 Temple of Epiphany, and 4 Mystic Monastery, and 2 of each basic in our colors for a landbase. It has been working really well for me so far thought i run a really red version where almost everything is red with only a total of 12 cards that need the other colors. I use to run the Mana Confluences and found they did more damage then good so i dropped them pretty quick i would suggest not playing with more then 1 or 2. Generally i only ping myself a mostly on turn 1 or 2 rarely on 3 when i cast a mantis rider. I use Chandra so i reduced my Stokes to 3 and upped my Magma jets to 4 it allows me the ability to scry before i fire off her ultimate if i get there with less worries. I play early aggro and around turn 4 switch to a burn plan.
Game 1 I land a turn 2 seeker and manage to trigger prowess every turn and just win the race.
Game 2 I made a bad decision and pitched a treasure cruise to a ascendency loot so I can play the land in my hand and hordling outburst and then I procedded to draw 5 lands in a row for my treachery.
Game 3 Went much of the same as Game 1 that also involved a Jeskai Charm and Wingmate Roc
Round 2 - Azban Aggro
Game 1 He has triple rhino and I have a whole bunch of nothing.
Game 2 he stumbles a little bit on lands and I manage to win handedly
Game 3 was a little back and forth, he played 2 rhinos but I actually have business this time around. I manage to kill the rhino with a double block + jeskai charm. And disdainful stroke was key to winning it on the last turn.
Round 3 - Azban Aggro
Game 1 he mulls to 5 and curves out; Hier > Anafenza > Rakshaha > Sorin. I had a few tokens and thats about it.
Game 2 was pretty much more of the same. My cards werent as powerful and I didnt get any synergy going.
Round 4 - Mono Green Devotion
Game 1 I live at 2 life because he can give his polukranos trample to get past my tokens.
Game 2 He swarms me with Genesis Hydra, Nissa, Courser and Bow of Nylea. That card was super rough.
Game 3 I play seeker on turn 2 and then we both dont play a 3rd land until he plays a courser which I jeskai charm it back on top 2 times in total, then kill it. He was never able to draw a 4th land.
Round 5 - UB Control
Game 1 I exhausted his resources with each card and finishd him off.
Game 2 I landed an ascendency, disdainfuled a vault and that is kinda how the game went from there.
Round 6 - Abzan Aggro
We ID into Top 8.
I've liked the steam augury so far, its only a one-of but I almost feel like I also want the 3rd mantis rider.
I've been thinking of cutting the 4th disdainful stroke and the 3rd arc lightning. Not 100% sure what to replace them with.
I actually bring in the wingmate a lot. Usually whenever I cut rabblemaster, which is often I cut him for game 2-3. Wingmate is just an extremely durable threat
well this friday there will be PR pass tourneys. i'm sticking with my jeskai tempo deck. i get confused piloting tokens (triggers and such) and it seems only good if ascendancy is out (but it's really good when it is!).
hopefully, i am more experienced and wiser this time.

I use 6 sided dice to keep track of Ascendancy and Prowess triggers; usually one on Ascendancy itself and one on each Prowess creature. Makes a world of difference in figuring out combat damage and helps keep sequencing in order. When the turn is over, just move them back to the side/box/bag for next turn.
I like Seeker of the Way, and a lot of the time it does quite a job, but I'm starting to question whether it fits in the Tokens version of this deck. A lot of the time I have ETBT lands that ruin the curve, and I'm not playing anything until T3 anyway. I'm wondering whether I might as well drop my Seekers and replace them with cards them will help in the long-game instead?
I feel like we have too many cards that just don't do the job without Ascendency going off. Therefore, I feel its better to treat the tokens list like a midrange deck. I'm going to try dropping the Seekers and slotting in some MB Prognostic Sphinxes.
I just find it fits in so awkwardly in the curve. So often I either have to play it T3 because I play a tap land t2, or play it T2 and then play a tap land T3 and not get out Rabblemaster or Hordeling Outburst. I think its a better card in RW.

I do believe that's the first time I've ever heard someone say a two-drop fits awkwardly into a curve.
If you're consistently playing a tap land on T1 and T2, you need to revisit your mana base. No more than 10 tap lands = less than 15% chance of needing to play them in that order. If you're at/below 10 already, then you've had some bad luck that probably won't continue.
As for a T2 Seeker followed by a T3 tap land . . . how is Seeker the problem here? Whatever version of Jeskai you're running, you should have plenty of other 2-mana spells (Lightning Strike, Magma Jet, Raise the Alarm) that trigger Prowess and make for a solid turn despite playing a tapped land. That's the definition of tempo.
Seeker will be immediately replaced by Soulfire Grand Master once released. Lifelink off spells that don't require it to attack. But if it does attack, it has lifelink unconditionally. Same CMC same starting P/T. Seeker has a tough time justifying itself after Fate Reforged.

thanks! i tried it and it works well. my problem now is that i get excited over the triggers that i forget to change the side of the dice. well, since i am not yet adept at using it, i'll use Jeskai Tempo for today's FNM/PR pass tourney.

Your clearly don't know what you talking about...seeker WON'T be replaced by soulfire...the ability to attack trought a Sylvan or a Kruphix is HUGE at the moment...they'll play together...but neither one will replace the other...
I'm pretty interested in seeing where Soulfire Grand Master ends up. I don't play tokens, so correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't really seem like she has a place in that deck. Monastery Mentor seems more reasonable, but what do you cut for it? Rabble looks like it's slightly better at the 3-drop slot, if only because of haste + Stoke synergy. The rest of the tokens list seems really tight and I can't imagine cutting many of the cards unless we get another token generator. The thing is I'm not even sure if you can just jam both of these in Jeskai tempo and call it a day. Perhaps they warrant their own archetype.

I do believe that Soulfire will have a place in Jeskai Burn variation...at least on my list she'll enter as a 2x of, as i said before...i think that mentor does not belong here or on the tokens strategy...Rabble it's just better...
Monastery Mentor is more oriented for the Jeskai Tokens variation...

The entire set goes up this weekend. I know it seems silly and trite but a rule is a rule. There are still PPTQs and IQs to be played this weekend.
