Before anyone goes on a long rant, my title was meant to be more humorous than factual. While it is entirely possible to be true, my data to back it up so far is minimal. So I saw one of the Boros Burn lists recently, and I was thinking I like the idea of it less white, add black. So with the same shell I came up with this, and at my last FNM placed 1st, finishing 6-1 all together.
This was actually my first event playing with the deck, so my takeaways were:
-In my meta, searing blood wasn't that great. I'll be -1 searing blood and +1 dreadbore next week
-I was never disappointed to see Chandra and will be adding another. -1 Shock and +1 Chandra
-I think I can get away without the guildgate, so -1 guildgate and +1 mountain
-My only loss was against MUD, which I never felt like I was ever out of it, the stars just aligned in his favor that match.
-Erebos in the side may seem strange, but against hexproof and anything with Rev's, the removal of lifegain is important to finish the match. It also obviously can get you some card draw.
Looking for feedback and/or additional playtesters to smooth it out and get this moved to "proven" =P
