Yeah. And I could use those SB slots for something else. My idea on the Whelming Wave was to hit it after they suited up, dropping their enchantments to the GY. Obviously it's better to just kill the creature if possible, but Ratchet Bomb and Anger should be able to handle that. My meta is pretty diverse, so I want my SB cards to be good against more than just one thing, like Ratchet Bomb is still good against red agro and not wasted against control (D-sphere). I looked at Magma Spray, but I decided on Magma Jet instead, the scry ability plus the ability to throw it at their face against low-creature decks put it way ahead of Spray.
I was looking at Curse of the Swine too, seems good against Desecration Demon/Master of the Feast. Nothing else it really does work against that I can't already handle, though. I mean, it would be good against Fiendslayer Paladin, but Anger and Ral already handle him. Would be good against Voice, but like you already noted, Anger does just as good of a job there. Turn // Burn hits any turned-on Gods and every other non-hexproofed creature in the game. It;s always good to have more than just 4 answers to a given problem, though. If I drop the Waves, probably take the Angers up to 2 MB/2 SB and add in another Essence Scatter?
You know, Nullify isn't a bad idea either. It's just as good as the Essence Scatters as holding up two blue isn't really a problem, and it pulls double duty against hexproof. If only it was creature or enchantment instead of creature or aura. Oh well, I guess that would be "too good", even at double-U, lol.
