That was a tournament next to my hometown and I was really surprised to see that deck. Then I saw this thread and realized people have been playing this for at least 1 month.
It seems we have enough tools to work with and make this deck pretty good! We mainly, I think, need to find a way to battle some of tougher opponents(mainly Esper).
For Aggro:
You think Last Breath is good? It'll take out the annoying smaller things, Ash Zealot or Burning Tree Emissary.
For control:
I'm not too sure except for maybe Mizzium Skins or Negates.
This is identical to the deck that top 8'd at SCG Classic in Durham NC a few weeks back. I had been playtesting a similar deck against my friend who was in the tournament, and he called me flipping his lid because he got knocked out of the top 8 by this deck and wound up top 16.
I don't like Jace in this deck, like, at all. I think he's pretty useless.
- Flashing out Armada Wurm end of turn is almost always gg. Same goes for Kalonian Hydra.
- Horizon Chimera is exactly what we need in this deck to survive aggro. It may not seem like much, but flashing one out on turn three to gain a life the next turn can make the difference against some aggro decks, which is easily our weakest matchup. Not to mention, seeing multiples is never bad... gaining more than 1 life each draw step is pretty good. The wombo combo dream world is having a few out + Archangel so when you Sphinx's, or draw a card, or cast Zegana, you just gain like a million life and all your creatures get a million counters and the game is over.
- This deck doesn't have a lot of bad matchups. Sideboard is rough right now, but Smiter & Courage come in against aggro; Smiter & Hydra come in against control; Charm comes in against midrange/fatties.
- I'm running a bunch of one ofs, yes... some of it is out of convenience, but some of it is because it's hard for you opponent to play against your top-end threats if he doesn't know what's about to drop down on his face.
- Master Biomancer is an all star in this list, I'm considering upping the number to 3. I totally didn't realize he wasn't legendary... so each trigger is insane, and he's never a card I'm sad to see. He turns your twelve dorks into 3/3s or 2/5s and makes your wincons bigger. You know what's hilarious? +1 on Elspeth with a MB or two on the battlefield.
- This deck basically just has to survive until it sees a threat, and at that point, it usually ends up that every threat that hits the battlefield wins the game unless it is dealt with. It puts them on the defensive and forces them to blow an absurd amount of removal to deal with you. I *love* it.
- This deck also does fine against the devotion decks that are dominating right now. Blue devotion? I'm going to go over you to kill you... Tidebinder Mage to tap my guys? That's fine, Prophet untaps them...

I think you really need to make your threats more consistent, I've always loved master biomancer, but he's not what this deck needs, there's way too much removal out there for him to do anything.
Horizon Chimera is an interesting card, I do like the interaction it has with Archangel.
The Armada Wurm...I think is bad. That's a personal opinion based on my building of Junk Reanimator and seeing how Armada wurm (even whipped back) just doesn't do enough.
The difference here with Armada Wurm is that it 2-for-1s removal. Wanna kill one wurm? Okay, but I still have another that's going to swing at you for 10. Flashing it out at the end of their turn is absolutely nuts, you put ten power on the board with trample across two bodies they have to remove in order to stop it. It's way different playing a threat at the end of their turn and being able to untap with it instead of tapping out for it.
The threats don't need to be consistent when they're all threats. Granted, this list could probably use some tuning, but I'm never unhappy to see any of my cards.
Master Biomancer is exactly what this deck needs. He's the difference between mana dork draws being unplayable in mid-late game and going "okay, I'll tap out to play an entire army of 3/3s, what now?" Keep in mind... with 60 cards, 12 of them being mana dorks can put you in some really bad situations. The only reason this deck is able to play 12 mana dorks comfortably is because it has a way to buff them late game - Archangel, and Biomancer.
Expounding: I felt this deck was weak at the 4-drop slot without taking damage to play other things. I'm totally happy flashing out a Chimera with 4 mana, or playing a Biomancer with it.
If they kill the Biomancer, great... it means my more threatening things have less to worry about. If they don't kill him? Every threat or dork or ANYTHING I play after that just became that much scarier. Horizon Chimera suddenly becomes a game ending threat when he enters the battlefield as a 5/4 trampler with flying + lifegain on card draw.

I don't run Bant Prophet, but I do run U/G Prophet/Devotion and is very similiar to this list... I have to agree Horizon main board is probably one of the best decisions I have ever made with that deck. The really presses most aggro lists in the format. I also run divination mainboard. Gaining life every turn really puts your opponent on a clock.

Armada Wurm is better in the 6 drop spot than Elspeth. There is too much hero's downfall running around. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near planeswalkers right now. Bounty is also just better than any planeswalker around that slot. It is basicly unremovable by any deck.
If you haven't tested Rapid Hybridization it is clutch. I started as a 1 of and quickly moved to a 3 of. I am considering a 4th. The 3/3 is completely irrelevant. Everything you have outclasses it. I have found it to never be a dead card. Even against decks like Esper you just Hybrid your own guy in response to removal and keep the pressure on them.

I've been working on a U/G devotion list as well with Prophet. We should start a new thread for that deck. Cyclonic Rift in that deck can be such a blow-out, and Garruk and Zegana can draw a lot of cards to give you a lot of life.
Both decks are interesting. However, I like the idea of the Centaur Healer instead of Jace. It's another creature that works nicely with the Prophet and Archangel of Thune strategy, and it really helps in the fast aggro environment we see in the current meta. Voice of Resurgence also works nicely. The big issue I see for this deck is dealing with problematic big creatures like Desecration Demon, Blood Baron, Gods, etc. Maybe it needs some Detention Spheres or Selesnya Charms in the SB? I think you could cut one Rootborn Defenses (which may be better as Ready//Willing) and the Bramblecrush for 2 Detention Spheres?
I love how a big name Magic player is finally playing a Prophet deck. I feel like his initial 60 is a bit... Underwhelming. I don't think he has "bad" choices, I just am left wondering if the numbers on some of the choices are a bit off.
4 Prophet seems greedy to me. As much as I love Prophet, and think she brings great value to the table, in multiples she can be quite underwhelming. You can see that in the last of Reid's broadcasted matches. 3 IMO is the sweet spot. Enough that she shows up a lot, but not often in multiples.
I would have one more threat in the main, Aetherling/Primeval Bounty/Primordial. I would also consider not running Curse in the main. Maybe a DSphere in it's place or one more threat.

It seems the list on that video was wrong and he had 1 Ætherling MB.
I agree about the numbers. 3 Prophets seems perfect to me. As amazing as she is, she isn't a threat by herself, and with 10 mana dorks that also aren't threats you gotta cut something. I also would cut one SRev and 1-2 Jace.
I've also never been a fan of the 4-of Polukranos seeing as how he is legendary.
I think a great deck exists somewhere between Duke's list and those wizard lists posted.

The reason I don't dislike 4 Polukranos, is because it also doubles as removal, but you have a strong point there as well. Looking at the other "Wizard" lists, I like Elspeth as a threat, because she brings some removal along as well. And with Prophet, her tokens become vigilant which is not irrelevant.
I also wonder about the Plasm Capture. I like what the card can do, swing games in a BIG way. But without a Prophet in play, it's a bit hard to fake. I mean, who leaves up 4 mana anyway? I suppose that people could assume Advent, but... it makes sense if you have Advent of the Wurm actually in your deck. Once your opponent knows you run Plasm Capture, you can count on them not walking into it again.
I feel like when I play this. There is no win-con because I am just drawing cards to stay alive. I can't focus on beating down because everytime I have a threat it gets removed and I Can't seem to combat it.
I am not sure what needs to be put in here to help it. But I feel like it is adrift with no win-con

Kekule_the_Magician on the inclusion of Devouring Light in a TurboFog Deck:

As a person who typically plays very creature oriented decks, I HATE when an opponent has Devouring Light. It is infuriating to finally get through with a creature on to have it exiled.
I've come to hate White in general now because it gets everything to the point where it is almost unfair. White has boardwipes (Wrath of God, End Hostilities), targeted exile and removal (Devouring Light, Banishing Light, Last Breath), lifegain spells, lifelink, low cost/high power enchantments and auras, flying creatures; my goodness what don't they get!?

Yeah, I felt a bit like that with Reid Duke's version. The Archangel of Thune/Horizon Chimera/Angel of Serenity prophet deck seems a bit more aggressive, although I think it does need some Detention Spheres MD. Maybe cut 1 Garruk and 1 Progenitor Mimic for 2 Spheres?

Is there place for Master Biomancer and Beck / Call in a bant shell?, seems like a good interaction. There doesn't seem to be many decent token generators in standard atm.
Just looking at this deck for the first time so take my suggestions with a grain of salt but, it looks cool. Replacing Urban Evolution with Sphinx's Revelation would be a lot better because you get synergy with the Prophet being able to draw instant speed and it would synergy with your Angel of Thune too. Fathom Mage looks a little weak, I'd rather play Jace, Architect of Thought.
Have you thought of running Polukranos, World Eater? Mono Blue just hates that card right now. I would also want to bump your Detention Spheres up to 4 just because Nightveil is such a pain and MonoU and MonoB play it 4x.
I'm not sure what your doing with your sideboard. You don't have a plan against aggro, maybe SB Voice of Resurgence? It looks like you're trying to destroy Underworld Connections/Detention Sphere with your 6 enchantment removals? Fade into Antiquity is good for removing Gods if that matters but I think you should trim down on them. Gainsay and Negate are a lot more flexible than Dispel right now, I would encourage you to try those instead. You have plenty of creatures that generate mana, you should always be able to cast your creatures with Negate back up. Keep in mind Esper and UW play Supreme Verdict so you want to have a plan for that too so you don't auto lose to it since you're running 8 mana dorks.
