Is there a way? I am working on a mono red deck that creates a good amount of token, however the local meta is all Black Devotion. If they happen to run 4x bile blight, there is a good change that I will just be disabled.
Is there a red response to try to battle it?
I was thinking of splashing blue just to have the Swan Song's or Dispel's but I wont have Steam Vents until after game day.
I don't like the idea of using gates since my curve peaks at 4, and gates will just make it too slow to compete.
The easiest way is to make their Bile Blights useless. Side out creatures and bring in more burn and they'll be holding a fist of dead BBs and Devour Flesh. They will probably even 2-4-1 themselves with Devour Flesh to gain life back.
If you're in red and you're worried about your tokens, throw a Shock or some other instant speed burn at the token in response to the Bile Blight. If you kill the token in response, their Bile Blight will be countered by the game rules for not having a valid target, so the rest of your tokens will survive. This is the easiest way to address it while running spells you probably want to run anyway. Sac outlets also work but probably take more effort.
A piece of advice: if you really like your deck, but your deck is really weak against one of the most common decks in the format (not only that, but also against one of the best pieces of black spot removal currently), it's time to find yourself a new deck.
I actually have 4 Barrage of Expendables in the deck, I can't believe I overlooked that.
Admirable, I don't think it's all that weak for our meta. A friend of mine played tonight using MBD and lost his first round against what he described as almost exactly what I had built. The key card that they had, that I did not, was Skullcrack to make Gary's life gain stop.

As a fanatic (no pun intended) of mono red in standard, I'm going to second this. Knowing when and how to sideboard is important, and if you are up against some heavy bile blight (or other creature heavy removal) you should have a side that shifts you from creatures to more burn.

The only net decking I do involves the Home Depot
