I built this deck and have been trying it out in 2mans and the tournament practice room to pretty good success. Looking for advice or criticism on the deck
- considering bringing in some number of abrupt decays into the main deck, I always seem to bring them in in every matchup
- Reaper of the wilds- Played with it and it was complete trash never was super excited to see it when I drew it.
-Mutavault- Not sure if I want mutavaults on top of playing basic forests in trying to cast bile blight on turn two.
-Pain seer- It has been good almost everytime I've drawn it. T1 springleaf into T2 seer is very good. Also the potential for T3 demon which is very good.
-Courser of Kruphix- along with Pain Seer these two put in serious work and net so much card advantage. Truly an all-star and the main reason to add green
-Scavenging Ooze- Very strong in most matchups really can turn around a game on its own. Also works well with springleaf if you are running low on green.
---Matchups---
Burn-Worst matchup by far really need some help in that area.
Mono-Blue- lots of removal and card advantage usually goes your way pretty good
G/R monsters- you out value them with your cards on top of your removal.
Mono-Black- Really draw dependent played it a few times and it felt 60/40 in our favor. Just have to keep their threats to a minimum and not let huge gray merchants happen.
ok so i will give some crtic and then post a list of what adjustments i would make (and by crtic i mean examine list and also use what you say about cards in the list) anyways heres my two cents
-your remark regarding reaper of the wilds is a trash card : reaper of the wilds is amazing. it can flat out win you a game single handly. it dominates control(if you have two mana up they literally have to verdict to get rid of it and will do so even if its the only creature out). as long as you have another creature standing with reaper against mono block they just fold to it cause they can't kill it.
- mutavault: if your gonna play pack rat you play 4 copies of mutavault sorry to say it you really need them to be any good with it. i mean you can deal without them for awhile but you will need the muta's in order to keep pack right great.
- abrupt decay: probably one of the best removal spells in the format as it deals with almost everything that is played and is popular. so a minimum of 3 in the mb would go a long way in fighting control and various aggro decks.
match-ups
bun: if you play pain seer you will lose this match up always. siding them out is your best option other than that burn will always just be a poor match-up for you best thing to do is just side out pain seer and thoughtseize for duress and whatever else you might think would help. but overall its just gonna be a rough match. i mean another option is using bow of nylea thats about it.
mono black: it's simple. play reaper of the wilds, have mana up, you basically win.
overall i like your idea here and here would be my take on it
bow and pharika's help against burn and mono red(duress can also be brought in as it can at least assist you abit)
doom blade is for the monster's match up. even against jund monsters its a really good card to help fight them.
mistcutters and golgari charm are obvious here contorl and mono u.
i feel dark betrayl is just plainly unnesscary as you play a ton of removal and you just hold your downfalls for things you can't kill with your abrupt decay and bile blight as these kill everything except demon and gray merchant thats it.
overall this is where i see it could be. bramble crush might be something to consider in the side to help fight control abit and bramblecrush is actually a card that just dismantles bant walkers as it hit's literally everything in there deck thats considered a permanent.(unless they run the verision with a one of aetherling)
The point of Pain seer is that he can trade against an aggro deck
I play a similar thing and I think you shouldn't overlook Lotleth Troll. Trust me when I say it's an MVP, my opponents also agree as it gets immediate hate from every type of deck I'm facing. I also run one Whip MB and a few Reaper of the Wilds

He has poorer synergy with the many 3 and 4 drops in the deck.

I'd take them all out and add 3 gray merchant and 3 underworld connections and 4 herald of torment.
Also why the hell wouldn't you play Abrupt Decay in the mainboard? That card hits in literally every single matchup in standard right now.
