Hello everybody. I finally decided to do away with my budget life and buy a competitive deck. From what I've heard, U/W control is top tier, so am I doing it right?
Oh yes I only looked at the spells and took the lands for a given but 26 or 27 lands are essential. Hitting land drops is one of the most important things, especially in the mirror and Sphinx's Revelation has pretty powerful synergy with lands after all

That it does. Should I cut the Quickens or divinations? (Or one of each?)

I would take out one or the other. Which one is a personal choice I think. There could be arguments made to remove either of them. Divination is solid against Black Thoughtseize decks and just another way to see more cards. Quicken only cycles but once in a while you will live the dream and blow someone out with an instant-speed Supreme Verdict.
You don't need Elixir if you're running AEtherling main. I just play 1x AEtherling + 2x Espeths and never have trouble killing opponents.
The main reason to play UW over Esper is that you can play four Mutavault; it's almost a strict upgrade. Also, you can easily fit in two more scrylands for value.
You should really play four Detention Sphere. It's the best answer in the deck, hits anything, and is very important in basically every matchup. Cut some combination of Azorius Charm, Last Breath, and Syncopate.
Quicken is too cute, especially when you're not even playing Divination. I'd rather just play two Divination instead.
Sideboard is way too geared towards red aggro, which is a minor part of the meta at best. Put more counters in there, like Gainsay, Negate, Dispel, etc.

There is nothing that stands out as being bad or anything. You can take that list and then tune it to your liking
Not enough lands.
Seriously in a control deck. You want AT LEAST 26, most often 27.
Cut the 2 Quicken's or 2 Divinations for 2 lands and your set
