Hi everyone,
I am planning on making a budge standard deck for FNM. I found the new mechanic Investigate in Shadows Over Innistrad and got me really interested in a deck based around it. I found this deck here and did a bit of testing on untap.in to see its potential. I had mixed results and since I know that you can make any deck without paying on untap I thought it would be better at FNM since not everyone will spend $200 or more on a deck. I am just looking for any recommendations for a different Investigate deck or suggestions on this one.
That deck seems expensive with it's big finishers.
When I thought of making an investigate deck, I thought of a Pia and Kiran Nalaar thopter/clue deck. I haven't built the deck yet, so I don't know what color I would combine with Red to make the deck. Possibly blue, possibly green, maybe both. I'm not entirely sold on building a deck around the investigate mechanic, though.
Hi,
Thank you for your answer. That card does seem to be a good card to go with investigate but i am gonna stick with green, blue, and white. Ill post this in the non budge standard since I guess it is pretty close to not being budget.
Thanks,
Trey
