I'd cut the radiant fountains, two at least. You do need colored mana early to use bile blight and dissolve etc. in time. Might want to add 4x Opulent Palace to fix mana problems. Also I'd replace 2 Divination with 2 Treasure Cruise, you might want to be playing the full four of them.
And I'd replace every single Pharika's Cure with Silence the Believers - you do need better removal and this card can trade 2 or 3 for one in late game.
Cheers for the suggestions mate.

had a blast running that u/b control under $20 tonite!
How'd you do with it? Any different cards you wish you had in?
These look awesome- great job! Do you have any deck lists that involve Ajani Steadfast, Garruk Apex Predator, or Sarkhan the dragonspeaker planeswalkers? I am looking to build a budget standard deck involving a combo of them. If not I would also like to use any of the dragons & goblins from FRF or Surrak Dragonclaw from KOT. Many thanks in advance! Once again, keep up the great work.
I made a few small updates to the decks and included a few new ones.
As far the U/B Control deck goes, if you have more money to spend, Perilous Vault is the best addition you can make - the deck is really missing mass removal, particularly of non-creature permanents.
I'm sorry; I don't. I just update the post here with each new set that comes out and just delete everything and start from scratch when there's a big rotation and a whole block goes out.
I fixed up some sections: more words added to the sideboarding section, WAY more to the "building a budget deck" section, including two decks as examples.
Magic Origins will be added into decks this week as I have time and I have added in a few new decks.
It's about that time of year when I know some of you get wary about getting cards from the oldest block that's due to rotate out in the fall. Is there any interest in adding a section that only has decks using cards from Magic Origins, Dragons of Tarkir, Fate Reforged, and Khans of Tarkir?
Thanks for keeping this thread updated. Being an on-again, off-again player, always nice to find a cheaper deck to get into for some FNM action. I'd be interested in a section for Khans, Fate, Dragons and Origins.
Yes, I think that is a great idea. Good for people moving on early from the oldest Standard set and good for new players who want to invest in the newest cards. Win win.
Sounds great to me - I've been browsing the budget forum for a while and excited to be playing now. Would love to know how to build a deck and learn the game before rotation!
I have updated ALL of the $20 decks with Magic Origins, including the UB Control deck.
A heads up, just for you: if you have more money to spend, you should definitely play Clash of Wills and Dissolve (instead of Disdainful Stroke and Cancel).
Blue black tends to handle creatures really well, but Duress handles non-creature spells. It's particularly helpful against other blue-based control decks with counters, as you can strip their counters and win the counter wars.
Murderous Cut to Ultimate Price is because of the cost, both the monetary cost and the mana cost. It's cheaper to buy, which brought the price of the whole deck down to under $20 with the new changes (Thopter is pretty expensive for the deck) and Ultimate Price can ALWAYS be cast for 2 mana, even though it's a little more restrictive.
If you're seeing more Atarka or other multicolored creatures, feel free to play Murderous Cut, instead.
Hey I just wanted to say how helpful these budget decks are, thanks!
I put together your bg elf deck (from the under 100 list) to take to my first night of fnm and then yesterday scored a Nissa, vastwood seer from a booster. I wondered if you have any tips on incorporating it into the deck. Would you swap any other cards to try to get her transformed quicker? Like add a few Nissa's pilgrimage or something else? Any advice on this deck, for a new player would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Nissa is a great inclusion in the deck. I wouldn't add Nissa's Pilgrimage to the deck just to combo with Nissa herself. It weakens the deck, when you're trying to build an army of elves. You're still better off with more creatures than a spell like that because it MIGHT help you transform her faster.
It's best to treat Nissa as 90% a 2/2 for 2G that gives you a creature AND a land, and sometimes, if it reaches the late game, you can play her, play the land, transform her and get a planeswalker. Don't try to force that and make her transform every time. Just enjoy it when that happens.
Yakusoku, just quoting one of your posts so that I can be more sure you'll see this.
The BG Elves deck in the opening post right now under the only Tarkir block and Magic Origins has Elvish Mystic, who isn't in either of those, only M15.
Any advice on a sideboards for the GB Elves and Goblin decks? I've been out of the loop for a few years so the majority of these cards are brand new to me, and it's a bit overwhelming to go through everything.
If my meta is heavy with mid-range decks using things that Gilt-Leaf Winnower can't hit? I find Murderous Cut is usually to expensive to cast more than once, maybe twice, per game. Ultimate Price's restriction misses some of the scariest stuff (namely any of the dragonlord's like Atarka or Ojutai). I really don't feel like shelling out $1 each (on MTGO) for Hero's Downfall to rotate out in like a month. I see Self-Inflicted Wound mentioned. Is it consistent enough? What kind of mix of Ultimate Price, Murderous Cut, and Self-Inflicted Wound is good?

I would say that U/W Control and U/B Control are your best budget control deck options right now.

Oh and also the change from murderous cut to ultimate price?
