I went ahead and purchased you rites deck that you posted. Is there a deck I could buold towards with the base version? I have already started getting shock lands. Are there other creatures I could use to make this deck a lot better? What would you take out from the deck? Thanks
A list like this resently won a GP, I have not yet had time to write about it.
I'm not sure if I like this one better than the one I have posted, but I do know it has a better engine and the staticaster+nightshade combo is pretty unbeatable. I have never played this deck but this would be my first guess to making it under 50 bucks. In this case, around 30. The lands are pretty awkward though and that is the part that mostly got cut from the GP list.
Lands and Huntmasters where cut and could be added. In this deck you try to land a turn 2 chronic flooding, and tap that land for a few turns to get an angel, a rites and an ass-load of humans. Bam, now you have a bunch of dudes, often times you can wait until you have milled the Goldnight Commander so you can use your 0 power staticasters, zealous conscripts and the thing you stole with it to kill someone on the spot.
This deck does have the weakness, even in the GP winning version that you can not cast an unburial rites in the hand. If you are liking your build and maybe just want to keep playing those colors, maybe an upgrade once you get the Overgrown Tombs and Temple Gardens, there is always the Brad Nelson, Craterhoof Rites deck.
This deck is stronger than both of the other decks IMO, Although it also won a GP it has not made any top 8 finishes since, so maybe the Humans one is better in full form. This deck is much less budget and will make you feel a lot better at the top tables, hes side in the official version cost more than the maindeck and that was cut here, but nothing from the main other than deathrite shaman was cut, this version is about 160 total, but only 80 without counting the shocks which is sounds like you are trying to get right now anyways. 90% of the value is in the Craterhoof and the Woodland Cemetary's anyways. (Could use a guildgate as a placeholder.)

Also, the izzet staticaster. How does that pull off combos? I see that it gets deathtouch with peddler, therefore killing any creature I ping. Thanks again

Just to make sure you understand, what I meant is you wait until you have a lot of humans and the Commander in your yard then rites the angel, bringing back all humans, all humans with ETB effects will triggerand you will be able to pick stacking order, if you put the Commander after everything is done entering, including the spirits from the Geist and what not your creatures will be huge. You can use the haste ones, like Conscripts and Staticaster, even though normally have low power swing in for lethal.

About the Surge deck, looks like a blast to play but if you do pull it off, you will have no cards in your library, and therefor loose, correct?

The may is the important part here, only go until you have lethal, if they don't scoop when they see what you are doing. Also, you only lose when you can't draw because there are not any cards left, not the moment you go to 0, so technically you could flip your library on the table and win with memorial haste. (And not lose.)

I intend to build a mono-white humans, based on your deck list. I was just wondering if Angelic Overseer would fit in the deck?
Also, if I do include Thalia, what cards should I replace her with?
For Thalia take out the Arrester, that's what I put in when I cut thalia.
Also, you could probably sub the Odrics for Angelic Overseers and I'm not sure which one is better, but I would instinctually say Odric, try both! (Honestly just not a fan of the Overseer, Odric is my Sublime Angel, lite version, if you do play 4x Overseers I'd go up one land.)

Are there any cheap fog style decks? I used to just love playing those. Pardon me if I missed it, there were tons of decks throughout this thread. Temporal mastery is expensive, which stinks.
Maybe I'll just build a deck with all fog type spells to irritate people but not win.

This has no fog type cards, but if you like turbo fog, you'll love this. Play enchantments, play safety sphere, touch of the eternal, then either mill them out with the UB land or one of your jaces.
This deck would be around 30-35 bucks in paper. I suggest you give it a try
For the white deck neither Odric nor Overseer are optimal, Angel of Jubilation and Azorius Justiciar as a 2/2 split would top the curve for me. The angel is particularly good if you run gather the townsfolk.
Those might be good, I thought of angel, but didn't want to extend that much in most match-ups, but I guess Odric is no better for that, both those cards would be worth trying out.

Took the liberty to post this Bruna Enchantment Reanimator Deck. This is roughly $50 without the sideboard.
How it works?
Basically all you want is to play and attach as many enchantments to your creatures as possible. Invisible Stalker will be your main dude, Azorius Arrester and Lyev Skyknight will be your support creatures (though Skyknight may be a good target for those enchantments too), and Bruna, Light of Alabaster as the last resort.
Just take note that once Bruna, Light of Alabaster attacks or blocks, you may attach any number of aura enchantments from a) your hand, b) from your graveyard, and c) from the battlefield, even if its controlled by your opponent.
What to get/add? Detention Sphere - Not budget but it's really a must for this deck. (IMO) Supreme Verdict - Again, not budget but will help you stall against aggro. Paraselene - Sideboard card against mirror.
Dual lands - Yes. For a better mana fix.

Ever considered putting in Forbidden Alchemy? It gets what you want and fills your GY with Auras that Bruna can get later on
but the only resource that works with the graveyard is bruna, if that is not going to appear onto the battlefield? Maybe if he's going to play Forbidden Alchemy he should run something more graveyard oriented ( just my 2 cents ).
But, at least in this standard, graveyard-based cards are not that budget

This is a rough (VERY) version, I'm not sure if it needs all 3 colors, but I would try this. Esper might be better, but then you lack ways to discard the creature, hands with flooding in this deck are going to be 100 times better than ones without.

You can't play lands that don't tap for green AND play the Ooze (because you want to be able to T3 it every game), so if you are looking to make it cheaper, I would play something like this, no black at all. 25$

Have you considered Essence Backlashes in the Izzet combo deck? It seems like a really good way to turn the sheer value of a Thrag against your opponent, and I would always find myself siding in the Dissipates against creature centric match ups. Maybe I need to play the deck more, I'm not a very good blue player in general. But I'll take the sideboard Essence Backlashes and roll with them and see where that gets me.
Ive just recently got back into magic after a 2 year break, and after looking through the decks, the Stuffy Doll deck looks to be the one I may try. Used to have a similar deck using reiterate and Shivan Meteor .
Was heading to my 1st fnm in a long time and was wondering is their any Pariah type effects in standard that makes stuffy a champ?

No, (un)fortunately. That'd probably mess up standard real bad. However, there are a few things you can do. Blasphemous Act works pretty well with Sir Stuffy, as well as Mercurial Chemister. There's a few threads floating around out there, and if you wanna talk about Stuffy Doll more, PM me. =)

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it....
