As a bit of a challenge to myself - I wanted to make a competitive standard deck on MTGO using only credits I have on bots. This essentially meant no cards that were worth more than .70 or so (and there was only a few bots I had more than .50 credit with).
After looking at 3-4 ideas - I decided to build a UG Artifact deck that revolved around Life's Legacy and Stubborn Denial. All decklist's that were similar to what I wanted to build included R for Shrapnel Blast. The MTGO meta is very controllish. I feel that Life's Legacy is better than Shrapnel blast in it.
Anyway; I ended up having to spend 1 ticket because I ran out of bot credit on all bots before I had a decent 60. But the final MTGO price came out to: 5 tickets. And after 20 matches - I'm OVER 50% in Tournament practice with it. That's in no way reflective of what It'd do in a real tournament; because of the insane # of control decks in TP; which this deck seems to own. But it's a testament that it's not just a pile.
Note on SB: I didn't spend more than 5 seconds on it. I barely bring anything in for matches except for Force Away on random occasions; with a proper SB - this deck could be even better.
