So I am trying to put together a red green werewolf deck and I was trying out an unfinished version of the deck with my friend. But when it came time to transform my werewolves we were both stumped as to whether or not werewolves can attack after they transform. Do they need haste? Or can they attack if the human version was on the table last turn?
This is the forum for Standard of which Werewolves are not currently in. Rules questions go here Rules Forum
I will answer this question, but in the future looks in that forum for rules questions.
711.12. When a double-faced permanent transforms, it doesn’t become a new object. Any effects that applied to that permanent will continue to apply to it after it transforms.
Since it's the same object, it can attach the same as normal rules. If it is under your control at the beginning of your turn, it can attack.
