After messing around with the current flavor of mono red, that deck is just pure evil. It is "fair" pure evil, but it's pure evil. First, to explain why the deck is good...
1) It handles mana screw incredibly well due to having a large glut of one and two drops.
2) It handles mana flood well because it has a ton of mana sinks late game including eternalize. It also grinds well thanks to Chandra.
3) It loves mulligan because Hazoret gets online easier and faster with one or two mulls.
4) Mono-red is incredibly consistent and all the lands come into play untapped.
So, to beat it consistently requires a low mana curve, good consistency, and board sweeps. Life gain cards don't really help a lot due to the fact the deck actually grinds out well in the mid game thanks to Chandra, and I'm totally expecting people to start using Soul-Scar Mage to handle mirror matches and other indestructible gods. If you are stuck in black definitely run Flaying Tendrils and Grasp of Darkness. Also a lot of their creatures have low toughness so you can probably get away with Yahenni's Expertise as a board sweep that lets you play something right afterwards.
I'm also going to recommend Liliana, The Last Hope. She is just a beast and her +1 is actually very relevant against mono red since it lets you pick off a lot of the early drops. Unfortunately that changes somewhat if they start using things like Soul-scar mage.

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!

Grasp of Darkness is an amazing card and Yahenni's Expertise is up there as well if you are playing control. You don't have much healing in black on good cards so it's up to board wiping and removing threats. I haven't played the match-up much though.
Three mana for three blockers, two of which can trade with many of their creatures.
Many of your best bets.
I forgot about Blazing Volley. Perfect sideboard card.
I already added Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet and Gifted Aetherborn to my main and Chandra's Defeat to my side, so that should be plenty.

Boardwipes aren't too effective with all their hasty threats.
Also Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet and Gifted Aetherborn helps.
