Every Tuesday, starting April 28th, you can tune into the Magic twitch channel at 9pm ET and view pros playing other pros in standard.
Here's the description of the show from WotC:
Quote from Mike Rosenberg »
The Standard Super League features eight prominent players from the Magic community squaring off with new Standard decks each week for eight weeks, in an eight-player single-elimination challenge. 10 points are awarded to a player for winning a match, and 5 bonus points are awarded to the player who wins the week's single-elimination challenge.
At the end of the eight weeks, the Top 3 points earners will face off in post-season play, where second place and third place must face off in a semifinal bout before moving on to play against the points leader of the season in a climactic final showdown. Commentary will be brought to you by the Hall of Famer duo of Randy Buehler and Luis Scott-Vargas, and each week is sure to show off some exciting decks, innovations, matches, and more.
Join hosts Randy Buehler and Luis Scott-Vargas for the first week of the Standard Super League this Tuesday, April 28, at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET/1 a.m. GMT on the Magic Twitch Channel.
Playing this season are the following players:
-Gerry Thompson
-Josh Utter-Leyton
-Brian Kibler
-Brad Nelson
-Owen Turtenwald
-Andrew Cuneo
-Tom Ross
-Paul Cheon
Undoubtably, you guys will want to talk about the decks, the plays, and the matchups. You can, and should, do so below.
Because this is an ongoing show, this thread will serve as the thread for the entire season. If you want to talk about week 2 or week 3 or even week 8, you should talk about it below.
Here's what you shouldn't do in the thread:
-- Discuss your own decks. It's not that we don't care, it's that we have a cool forum for that.
-- Flame or troll users (obviously)
-- Get into long heated debates that take up pages upon pages of the thread. Disagreeing with someone is fine. Doing so ad infinitum is not. We're going to be using this thread for the whole season, so keep that in mind.
You should be able to watch the replays on the magic twitch channel under past broadcasts.
If you've watched any vintage super league, this is similar. It's LSV and Randy Buehler commentating; I think Owen was the only player to make a cameo on-screen.
Depends what you mean by well produced? Great players and LSV commentating but otherwise garbage interface that is MODO so do with that what you may.
It was produced absolutely terribly. It's basically unwatchable because of bad skype connections. I don't know why they didn't just turn off their skype video to smooth out the connection. As it stands their voices cut in and out constantly and there's all this crackling interference that makes it more or less pointless to watch with the sound on.
Wasn't Standard this week, which I knew about but thought I'd watch anyway. Wish I hadn't. Just a bunch of non-interactive decks playing past each other. Welcome to Modern. Boooooring.
Anyway, back to Standard next week so hopefully it gets better.
Despite RG tron winning this week, most of the players actually avoided this. UWR control, Grixis Delver, Abzan, Jund, and Zoo are all hardly non-interactive decks. The tron players also played it as a meta call.
Yeah scry lands/fetch still showing it's full effect. Causing top decks to be generally better. Altough it's only with a 10%, it works out.
Still am rather suprised how people are still suprised by this however xD. I mean it's not too unlikely when you look into it. In special after a couple of turns of scry without re-shuffle your bound to find awnsers.
Not sure if you watched the "mull to 4, top deck gas" game. Wrapter certainly had a bit of luck in game 3 between his draws and Tom's.
I think Tom Ross absolutely took a marginally wrong line but downticking Ashiok, but then paid for it dearly after not drawing a draw spell for a large portion of the game.

Are these videos posted somewhere after they air?
Are there deck lists posted somewhere?
Was this all produced well?
Did they discuss the decks before or after?

Yes
Here let me Google that for you

They have a quick interview with the winning players after each round as far as I know.
If you take away anything from this event it should be this though:
Paul
Are playing some degenerate magic.
Wrapter over GerryT.
Jeskai resurgence? Mantis Rider is a good card vs. Raptor/Den Protector.

Of note:
Wrapter on Meletis Astronomer Ascendancy
Kibler on 4c CoCo

While not related with standard, Randy Buehler needs to appreciate brevity.
That was a marathon.
The decks were predictable although Wrapter's game 3 win after mulling extensively with Mardu Dragons was surprising. Good topdecks though.
