i like taigam's scheming is this deck it makes it so you can dig and ditch what ya need to ditch but keep the important spells. twinflame is an interesting card too because you can just copy your dork to go off.

Brew away But Dig Through Time is among the best and most synergistic cards in the deck and I think you couldn't possibly be more wrong to cut them.

I replaced Dig with Tormenting Voice it helps the flow of the deck more than dig does. Costs less and it's easier to start going off with.

Costs less but it digs 2 vs digs 7. Dig through time helps you find your pieces more reliably whereas tormenting voice is just a borderline loot type spell. Given your dorking, I'd say that tormenting voice is easily worse than divination at the least but neither has the deep digging capability that dig through time has. If you aren't casting it cheap, then maybe add some more kruphix's insight but don't cut dig.
I understand how you mill your whole deck, but i dont quite get how you generate infinite mana and get your dork really big, i know it has to do with dragon mantle but could someone please elaborate.

Jeskai Ascendency allows you to untap your creatures everytime you play any noncreature spell. This means you can untap your creatures infinite times if you can continue this. The best way is to cast Retraction Helix on a creature and bounce Astral Cornucopia and playing it for 0, drawing and untapping.

Just pulled the trigger and bought all of the cards that I'd need to start playing this deck. First excursion into Standard since SoM/ISD when I was playing Frites. I hope to have as much rediculous fun with this deck as I did with that one.
I played around with it and this is my version of it. I just dumped the twinflames and went all out on the Altar of the Brood as the only wincon. It works suprisinglt well and i find it to be more streamlined.
why dragon mantle? doesn't the ascendency give the +1/+1 to all creatures that you need anyways? and kiora's followers over elvish mystic to make it happen faster? i'm trying to understand some of these choices.....what about midnight guard and orinthopter in there too so you can combo even if all your normal pieces are taken away?

the mantle is a 1 mana cantrip and is an easy bounce target if you have 2 dorks out. the follower can untap lands which makes it a versatile mana maker as opposed to only making green.

Gotcha...I tested the deck out today and had tons of trouble coming up with anything though I admit I was missing out on 7 of the lands I needed. Still though I had alot of bad hands and alot of nothing happening
so just got back from fnm and went 4-0-1 with this deck. prolly the most excited ive been about standard in a long time. i didnt have all the pains but went with a sub optimal build and still did really well. my matches went as follows
mono green devotion 2-0 just way to fast for it
b/w aggro 2-0 both times i got really low first game went to 3 life. second game won at 1 life.
r/w burn 2-1 all three games a turn 2 Eidolon of the Great Revel so hard playing around that damn card.
rug midrange 2-1 he was running counter and anger so it was an interested match but the amount of dig is just amazing
split in last match.
even with the crappy lands i was running it did real well, my fastest win was a turn 4
chasm skulker is an interesting choice....I like it.... but I think I'm going to stick with the short bursty draw style of divination, font, and nylea's because i've really had problems with stalling, thought seize, or just early game do nothings
Also that's alot of tapped lands you have there... you sure it's ok to be going that route?
like i said it not optimal. i just didnt have pains to replace the lifegain lands otherwise thats what i would of used. it stil ran decently quick even with the taps though.

So I went 4-0. I only actually lost 1 game on the night and that was a game where I just drew like 10 land and no Ascendancy. I also had one dumb luck game. I started with the whole combo and a Sylvan Caryatid, but only one land and it wasn't green. But I drew a forest on my second draw and then a second carytid, nullfying the Setessan Tactics he had in hand.
The deck ran really smoothly except for the one excessive mana game. The draw looting through the library did well. There were 2 games where I was dead on board no matter what if I passed my turn and I got through enough of the deck to combo out. I'll be taking a break from it next week just cause I like to switch it up, but we'll see how it does next time I play it. See if it's always that consistent or if I was just lucky.

What do the Ornithopters do in your list?
Beat sticks with flying. 0 cost for later swarm effects. It also drives down my curve. Also my fav turn 1 play is ornithopter dragon mantle with battlefield forge. It helps my decks speed.

Any inputs regarding this build? I get it that you can draw your whole deck. But without 0cmc artifacts, i'm not sure how you can easily go for unlimited mana. Unless you have 3 dorks in play. I'm currently building this deck. Thanks!

A note about the build: It's a little sub optimal. Font of Fortunes was supposed to be a second Dig Through Time. I didn't have enough Rattleclaw Mystics so I used Voyaging Satyr. That actually mattered though because someone played Doomwake Giant which would have killed Rattleclaw, but itnstead it was a satyr and it lived. And then I didn't have any fetchlands. The Evolving Wilds were supposed to be fetches: 3 Wooded Foothills and 1 Windswept Heath.
