Hello everyone, I hope I came to the right section for this thread. I just wanted to ask if my MonoU deck would be worth keeping (Thassa and Master of Waves) since RTR rotates soon. Will MonoU see play after that? I know we are having M15 and Khans of Tarkir, so it's hard to tell yet, but what do you think?
Monoblue was a decent aggro-deck in a meta that wasn't ready for it; whether the same strategy will be viable post rotation is way too early to say. However, a lot of the pieces of the deck rotate out, so even if the general strategy remains viable the deck will have to be rebuilt. The monoblue that has been Tier 1 this standard season will certainly be no more, but we may get something similar.
Value-wise neither Thassa, God of the Sea nor Master of Waves are likely to plummet in value, but will probably depreciate somewhat. Master of Waves is a pretty adaptable card, and it's price is already low for a playable mythic rare; it's been experimented with in modern merfolk too.

both are playable in modern (although not as 4 ofs)
