Hey, I am new here and sorta new to MTG. I currently run a Green Hydra deck with a Splash of red for burn. I would love a Green Black deck, big creatures with good support and balance. Any ideas? Suggestions? Thanks!
Ya sorry for being vague, I am looking for a competitive deck. Thanks for the links as well! I am trying to find a good way to bring Vorapede into the deck due to his vigilance and undying.
Edit: I really like your idea of the monoB with splash of green. What about use of things like predator ooze and Golgari Rot Farm?
None of the cards you mentioned are in the current Standard format. The sets currently in Standard are M14, Return to Ravnica, Gatecrash, Dragon's Maze, Theros, Born of the Gods and Journey into Nyx.
If Predator Ooze was in standard (it's not though) it could not be played on a deck that's only splashing green, since it costs GGG. Splashing limits you to G, or maybe GG. But it used to be pretty good in a green-based deck a year ago.
with the usual B/g spells - Abrupt Decay, Vraska the Unseen and so on. Different from B/g Devotion as those usually have Gary and Nightveil Specter. Reaper of the Wilds is also an option for this deck.

In my opinion the best deck in that color combination in standard is the black devotion deck with a green splash. I tested it before JOU came out and was reasonably happy with it. The inclusion of Temple of Malady should make it even better. The newest posts in the thread for green splash in the monoblack competetive forum has some lists: http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/standard-type-2/competitive/proven-standard/mono-black-devotion/525586-green-or-white-splash?page=4
This is however, at its heart, a black deck with only a tiny amount of green.
Other fun standard decks in those colours include: "dredge", "enchantress" and green/black midrange.

Edit: The midrange deck (last link) is probably the closest to your description "big creatures with good support and balance".

There's a B/G Midrange deck that T8'd a States recently, though. Creature base was something like:
4 Courser of Kruphix
3 Scavenging Ooze
4 Pack Rat
with the usual B/g spells - Abrupt Decay, Vraska the Unseen and so on. Different from B/g Devotion as those usually have Gary and Nightveil Specter. Reaper of the Wilds is also an option for this deck.
