In Brad vs Brad match, in G2 when Brad Grant casted Notion Thief, have you been paying attention to how many cards did he draw? Because I was under impression he drew 3 cards instead of 2, and that should be a game loss. Anyone noticed same?
Someone on the Twitch chat said that too but I didnt pay attention to that
Poor Blaggro, falling prey to perfect topdecks (thanks scrylands). Looks like we've got another tournament dominated by Revelation... it's still the best card in the format.

Those tournaments really showed the power of the Scry lands. They are bonkers in UW/x Control
wtf are you guys talking about, topdeck? He had lethal on board and decided to attack Jace; the topdeck is irrelevant. And Brad Nelson is a prick clapping in the guys face like that. Between this and the Ruric-Thar trigger incident at SCG Open a few weeks back Nelson is not creating a good image for himself.

Turns out that dual lands that increase your card quality and make it easier to curve into the right spells are, in fact, awesome. Who cares about your lands coming into play tapped when you run 26+ of them.
Also like the diverse format. Some of the archetypes have broadened out quite a bit and all the BNG naysayers that were worried about the format going stale are likely eating crow right now.

Yeah it's funny how people denied the power of the scry lands. Now they are even played in Modern in a deck.
So the question is whats the best way to beat esper?
Good on Ari Lax for taking a gamble with the G/B dredge.deck top 16 is really good. Also a UWR control and an esper with my beloved Ashiok in there. Efro with the next black innovation, add red for slaughter games anf rakdos return to beat up on esper.
The way I see it, Maze's End is in a prime position right now. I almost played it at Cinci but ultimately just didn't feel like playing. I truly think Maze's End could have done well there.

Should've been uncommon amirite?
All premium dual lands are rare. Never knew what was the problem with that
Not at all. I like my dual lands to be Rares when it is not absolutely necessary to lower their rarity for the sake of Limited (Refuges, Alara Trilands, Guildgates). Why? Because it makes opening packs better. There's always going to be a use for dual lands, even if its in casual decks. That they do a cycle of Rare dual lands in almost every block is one of the best things about the block structure.

It is unfortunate how people will take this deck seriously rather than what it is...
A skilled player with a rogue deck slipping through variance.

What stupid things?
What Ruric-Thar trigger incident?
Not defending him or anything, I'm just curious.

I heard R/W Burn is a bad matchup for Esper? I'm curious though, cause I myself play R/W Burn.
