so im trying to do something with green and white. But what is the best way to go with green/white? Green big creatures? White Gain life? what are the main things to building a green and white deck with. I have a lot of nice cards that work with each other but i want to see how green and white are mainly suppose to be used or best strategy for the 2 colors. thanks guy
thats crazy hoplito i have 2 of eidolon and 1 of voice i wasd thinking of throwing them in. i have a white soldiers deck but i was thinking of mixing it with green
Splash black and call it Junk. Run Blood Baron, Obzedat, Courser, Reaper, Sylvan and boat loads of removal in Abrupt Decay, Bile blight, Blade etc....
Honestly G/W just get's absolutely RAVAGED by Lifebane Zombie (which I personally run in my Jund deck) It's pretty crazy how good that card is early, mid and lategame.
"If fetch lands are reprinted I really believe they will be in allied colors (aka Onslaught fetches). If the fetch lands are reprinted you better believe that we'll all be fetching up basics. This would lead me to believe that the set after THS may have a reprint as the temples can't be fetched but it's pure speculation." - posted 03/22/2014 proved correct during Khans spoiler season.
"The set releases for fall 2015 (Blood, Sweat and Tears) and fall 2016 (Lock, Stock and Barrel). One or both of those 2 blocks (I'm betting) are going to contain either Fetch reprints or (more likely) Filter reprints. Filter lands still need a reprint. They are getting pretty high up there and it's been longer than ZEN so it makes a little more sense that Filter lands would see print earlier that fetches." - posted 03/22/2014 proved incorrect about filters coming earlier than fetches, still pending on filters in Origins block.
The premier G/W deck is G/W aggro. You can find some successful lists here. I suggest copying good lists as much as you can before trying to build your own. Crawl before you walk and all that.
My favorite list of this genre is W/G Aggro. Play all white and green white creatures, Brave the Elements and Ajani. It will depend on your SB and meta analysis, but this kind of deck have a workable match up vs. Esper and MBD and the match up vs. RG and Jund is actually positive. The only match up from the big 4 you will be two foots behind is mono U control (expect a 30%~40% win ratio).

If you are going for the g/w aggro route you would want stuff like Voice of Resurgence, Eidolon of Countless Battles, Loxodon Smiter, Fleecemane Lion, Dryad Militant, Experiment One (or Boros Elite if you want to play with Gods Willing, Brave the Elements and Rootborn Defenses), Advent of the Wurm and Selesnya Charm are an absolute must.
