So for this set, in stead of two weeks of previews we get three, and on top of that the rarity of those previews will be more spread out. No more massive dump of commons and uncommons to sift through at the end, hopefully.
With that being said, Ob Nixilis's Cruelty - A straight up instant speed answer for any creature in pauper that isn't Ulamog's Crusher/Gearseeker Serpent. Three mana is steep, but with the sheer amount of stuff it hits...
The exile effect is nice too because it removes the creature for Delve shenanigans via Gurmag Angler

Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Burning Prophet seems strong. She's decently costed compared to other prowess type creatures and I feel like the scry ability is huge. Put it next to a kiln fiend and all that scrying is going to make it way easier to dodge lands and find the cheapest spells/cantrips when you need em.
Samut's sprint is definitely stronger than other similar cards, not sure if it's good enough to see play.
I don't know if or when there will be the fodder for some sort of Green White +1/+1 counters deck, but Wanderer's Strike definitely packs a lot of punch in the right deck.
Ob Nixilis's Cruelty probably isnt going to do anything too crazy. Black has a seriously deep removal pool already, which people dont even fully utilize, with amazing cards at 0-2 mana (yes 0, why doesnt Snuff Out see more play?) that mostly outclass the 2B instant in every way. Even if I wanted to pay 2B, i'd be running Rend Flesh for better coverage. Overall none of these cards seem more powerful than anything we have, at least so far. Frankly I'm disappointed WOTC chose not to print any common PWs, would have been really really interesting to see weak walkers at common come into pauper, though I doubt even some of the rare PWs from this set would have any impact, they seem to be taking a very cautious approach powerlevel-wise. Karn, the Great Creator looks to be the only PW worthy of eternal format play so far, and we've had a lot spoiled. Teferi's Time Twist looks fun, but I dont think it'll be taking any spots over Ghostly Flicker or Momentary Blink
Vivien's Grizzly is interesting to be because we haven't seen a design like that for a pauper creature so far, especially for a green creature. This pushes the power level of a common card a little bit which bodes well for the future of Pauper.
Grim Initiate looks interesting to me. I like token decks and I like cheap cheatures that get you another creature after they die. Plus it and the token is a zombie. Its why I also like Lazotep Reaver. Two bodies at 2/3 for 2 cmc.

Grim Initiate is certainly a good card. It's a step up from something like Blisterpod, though one could argue that getting a free mana and an instant speed death trigger is better than first strike on a 1/1.
Lazotep Reaver looks pretty good for a Mono-Black Aggro, since it seems like the black Goblin Instigator. But later copies might not result in more bodies since you'll have to put a counter on your token if it's still in play. It might be best in an Aristocrats build.

I really like that they're giving keyword abilities to black creatures that they don't normally have at common, like First Strike and Haste. I think it opens up new possibilities for the colour pie. Banehound could be really good with equipment in black, which is something we haven't really seen before.
Lazotep Reaver is almost always going to be a better Goblin Instigator, which is awesome. the extra toughness is welcome and even drawing multiples still grows the zombie army to a 2/2 or even 3/3 occasionally, which is better in some circumstances than an extra body. Nice!

The drawback of not having several creatures could be very real in a deck that cares about making 1/1 tokens though. They usually prefer going wide rather than tall.

So nothing "breaking", a really small amount of good creatures and some with new "mechanics" for pauper. A bit "better" than other sets I think, but still we depends on downgrades for pauper "news".
Ahn-Crop Invader: 2/5. Nothing special. Arlinn's Wolf: 3/5. Not bad at all, green stompy cmc 3 always was a bit mediocre. This one not make much relevant but well, with some Rancors unblockable could be interesting. Banehound: 4/5. I think its a good 1 cmc drop. Could fit on suicide black, red haste or radkos. Two habilities and fast. Bulwark Giant: 1/5. Too expensive. Burning Prophet: 2/5. Maybe interesting, but with Kiln Fiend and Nivix Cyclops... Crush Dissent: 1/5. Counter not interesting in this format (conditional and expenseive). Davriel's Shadowfugue: 2/5. Not bad at all, but too expensive and slow. Erratic Visionary: 1/5. Nothing new in the format. Grim Initiate: 4/5. Another good 1 cmc. I think could be played. Herald of the Dreadhorde: 2/5. Lefts a token, but not I think will not be played for its cost. Honor the God-Pharaoh: 1/5. The worst Faithless Looting in history Well, with FL (and others) I think this will never be played. Invading Manticore: 1/5. Too expensive. If anyone could reach this cmc in red, there are a Dino much better than that (and another ones). Kaya's Ghostform: 3/5. Not new in the format but in black, maybe could fit in some archetype bc 1 cmc. Kiora's Dambreaker: 1/5. I think will not see game. Lazotep Behemoth: 2/5. For his cmc is not bad in pauper (good ratio for black), but I think will not be played. Lazotep Reaver: 3/5. Not bad and left one token, don't know if will be played. Makeshift Battalion: 3/5. Maybe for white weenie or somekind of soldier/human tribal with cards like Veteran Swordsmith, Veteran Armorsmith or Ballyrush Banneret. Naga Eternal: 2/5. Nothing new (Coral Comando). Nahiri's Stoneblades: 2/5. Not bad but cmc 1 will be so nice, 2 cmc... I think will not be played. No Escape: 1/5. I think will not impact counterspells in the format. Ob Nixilis's Cruelty: 2/5. Well, it's a good removal, but black removal in pauper have better options. Only way os for Gurmag, but... include a card just for another... Pouncing Lynx: 1/5. Nothing new. Relentless Advance: 1/5. Can't see where could be played. Rising Populace: 2/5. Not specially bad... but can't see an good archetype for use it. Samut's Sprint: 3/5. Good tool, 1 cmc and some effects. I think could be played on Kiln decks. Spellgorger Weird: 4/5. Same that previous, counters remains so you could make a big cheap creature making more instant damage. Spellkeeper Weird: 2/5. Somekind of Archaeomancer... but expensive and sacrificing... Stealth Mission: 2/5. I think there are much better unblockable options in the format. Teferi's Time Twist : 2/5. Maybe could fit in flicker archetype, but in pauper there're not "so" break "ETB" effects, so I think will not modify these archetype. Teyo's Lightshield: 1/5. Booh. Vivien's Grizzly: 4/5. Very interesting. Good 3 cmc and could fit in green ramp or tron with good mana bases. I like the effect a lot, at last we start to see new things in pauper! Vraska's Finisher: 2/5. Meeh. Will not be played IMO. Wanderer's Strike: 1/5. Meeh. Wardscale Crocodile: 3/5. Hexproof is nothing bad in pauper (without big warths). Not bad for cmc-pauper. But maybe Tajuru Pathwarden is better. War Screecher: 1/5. Idk where could be played.
Band Together marks probably the strongest playable we've seen so far imo. 2 for 1 at instant speed in green. I'd be up to pay one extra over normal fight spells.
Heartfire looks like it could be interesting, at least while Goblin Grenade is still restricted to paper pauper only.
Reckless Abandon sees very little play even in goblin decks, I doubt you'll ever want to pay one more for copies 5-8, but maybe. There's also Collateral Damage to compete against.
It's too bad that the commons in this set are just good, but not incredibly format changing, because many of the uncommons are really off the walls! Vivien's Grizzly is definitely interesting, I will be trying to squeeze it into a mono green tron build to test its mettle. Maybe use Explorer's Scope for top card identification? What are other good ones people can think of?

I definitely see Grizzly in an all creatures shell with mana dorks and other other good green creatures. Alongside Lead the Stampede you can have some solid card advantage. Whether or not that will actually fit into the meta is another question, but that seems to be the best home for it if someone wants to use it.
Would be fun T1 on the play to Dark Ritual then this. Strip a card and get a body on the field.

It doesn't work that way, I think. I think you just get 2 guys to both deal damage to the same target.
Contentious Plan will be pretty good in anything that works with Proliferate.
Kasmina's Transmutation is kinda-sorta held back by the non-bomby nature of individual guys in Pauper, but it's still good.
Courage in Crisis Likely also has it's place. I can see the phantom guys from Judgment possibly getting some play time if enough good proliferate shows up at common. Bloom Hulk isn't bad either.
Banehound look pretty meh. Irrelevant creature type, stats too small to do anything without pump, and most pump doesn't get him out of bolt range. Possibly a sideboard card vs. burn, though.
Spellkeeper Weird looks like complete cancer. Unboltable blocker which gets you something out of the grave if the other guy tries to kill it while your mana is up once you untap with it once. Seems like one of those cards that's easy to underrate, but is quietly stupid-good.
Lazotep Reaver is strange. At first glance the Army tokens are not better than Eldrazi Scions / Spawn, if for no other reason then because the eldrazi can trigger morbid at will. Amass is a really strange mechanic, doesn't actually look very good, but there might end up being changeling shennanigans with it.
No Escape isn't Exclude, and Exclude isn't seeing that much play despite being a great card, but it does put a stop to a bunch of shennanigans from Tron, Tortured Existance, Mono-Black and all that jazz.
Vraska's Finisher seems to be decently priced for what it does and that's good.

"Masques Block is the worst block ever! There's not one decent card in there! The whole internet say's so, you're literally the only person who ever said it was good!" - random noob in a conversation with an Eldrazi.
Tamiyo's Epiphany is just another copy of Foresee, which will occasionally see play in Familiars.
Spellgorger Weird and Contentious Plan both seem like the most powerful cards so far to me. There is a lot of interesting Proliferate stuff coming, so maybe there's a deck there?
Another 2 cmc artifact that draws you a card. Now certain decks can run 12 of these for card draw. Ugh.
