The basic idea of this is to have a multiplayer format (generally 4) where there is about 50 cards per person playing (so a norm of 200) where there is an even number of colors distributed from any printing. So if there's 4 people there's 200 cards total and thus 40 cards for each color (red, blue, etc.). Then, you take about 2 cards from each color and take them out of the pile and replace them with planeswalker cards (about 10 for 4 people). All the cards are then randomly shuffled together. Each player going clockwise then grabs a random card from the top of the stack of cards and this continues until there are no cards remaining. Players then look at any planeswalker cards they received. The players must make a deck with the colors of the planeswalker. They can have extra colors too. If a player didn't get a planeswalker they must make a deck of two or more colors. Each deck is made up of 60 cards and players can then add the lands they need (only basic) into their deck. All the extra cards are not needed at this point. The player that took a random card from the pile last goes first and then the game proceeds as a normal game would with the player to the left going after the player before them.
Cool Idea! It seems like a bummer for the people who don't get planeswalkers though, maybe a seprate pile of just planeswalkers, so everyone gets 2 planeswalkers to choose from? idk just an idea, but this sounds like fun! Sort of like a cube for sealed play.
