So, recently I came up with an idea to build two magic decks that would play out like a game of Munchkin. I'll have to work on how the rules apply to certain cards, but here's the basics.
Starting the Game:
Race: You are a human.
Class: You have none. ha ha!
Level: 1
Hand: You draw two cards from the 'treasure' pile and three cards from the 'door' pile.
Items/Gear: Equipment cards will be used as gear. Depending on the equipment you have, it will be determined as to where you can equip the gear to. One hand, two hands, head, body, or feet. For example Lightning Greaves would go on your feet. It would give you shroud from people playing 'curses' on you. Mask of Memory would go on your head. No-Dachi would be a one hand item, where as Ogre's Cleaver would be a two handed item. Silverskin Armor would go on your body.
Some cards would have to be banned from this format for obvious power or effect reasons.
Curses/Potions: Smelt would hit you if you drew it as your fist door card. But if it's the second draw, you can play it on someone else. Giant Growth can be used in combat, to either side.
Monsters/Creatuers: I haven't quite decided how this will work just yet. I'm thinking this. The creature's level will be it's combined Power/Toughness. A 0/1 will be level 1, 1/1 will be level 2, 1/2 will be a level 3, a 2/2 will be level 4, etc...
