I didn't stay to see what happened in the quarterfinals.
I was 10th there with Wu Kithkin.
I was wearing a black Blind Guardian shirt. I was hanging out with Soderberg, the guy at the very end of the table in that top 8 picture you have there.
The deck is pretty clearly showing itself as top deck in this format. Now that we have a clear top deck, we'll have an interesting amount of metagaming going around that deck.
I don't know if nom is town or scum. But I'd like to point out this type of behavior is his standard modus operandi.
Court Mafia: Day 1, hatch plan to KILL EVERYONE ELSE IN A SINGLE NIGHT, when the plan only allows him to hit 11 random players, ATTEMPTS TO FIRE ANYHOW (Roleblocked).
In other words....Nom is an impulsive player who doesn't think about planning long-term or listening to others. I wouldn't be surprised if he was town. At all.
I think the top 8 of Roanoke was 3 Faeries, 1 Rage Forger aggro, 2 5-color Elementals, 1 Five-color control, and one other deck. The event was won by Max Tietze playing Faeries I was told. He beat Elementals in the finals.
Lesurgo win ptq berlin in vancouver
with five fae in the the top 8
He dream crushed me last round, whoever won our match would end up in top 8....obvious who won that one
i got top 8 w/ a faeries deck in nashville.. i lost round 1 to another faerie deck, and i know there was at least one other. evan erwin also top 8'd with a kithkin deck... didnt stick around after i lost, so i'm not sure on the other decks / what places they got.. not even sure what place i finished in. all i'm certain on is: faeries, faeries, faeries, kithkin.
and yeah, he knocked out a buddy of mine round 6 too.. he was 4-1 and got mana screwed horribly game 3. he said evan had him dead on board for 3 turns (one of which he was even tapped out) and he still wouldnt kill him.
second of all, does anyone have the win % for all the decks
Not exactly win%s for the decks because we don't know how many of each deck played in all the tournaments but this is about the closest we can get to that statistic. Maybe the Archetypes aren't 100% accurate but its what the decks looked like to me. This summary includes the 19 PTQs (Hollywood-Jun28th) reported by WOTC on the PTQ results page and GP Birmingham.

PTQ Detroit this weekend:
Won by Brain Six playing Elementals over Kithkin in the finals
T8:
2 Faeries
2 Solar Flare
1 Five-Color Control hybrid
1 Kithkin
1 Elementals
1 Shamans (A good friend of mine playing this, it's an excellent deck)
I went 4-0, then 0-2, and conceded to a x-1-1 in the 7th round playing a Solar Flare variant with Revillark, Doran and Fulminator.
Pastimes sure is taking its sweet time handing over the results from its 6/28 ptq to Wizards. I didn't stay to see the t8, but i'd really like to know what was all in there (or really, how much Fae was present). The tourney is already marked as 'deliquent.' I thought only the smaller stores were that slow.

According to a previous post Faeries and Kithkin won each game respectively.
I can't believe Kithkin beat a Faeries deck, but I guess Faeries won the day in the end.
I'd like to see the Kithkin list and the Merfolk list. I'm trying to decide which deck to play in Edison, NJ this week.
The exact Philly top 8 was:
1: Fae
2: Kith
3: Merfolk
4: Fae
5-8
Fae (Piloted by a really, really, really good looking guy)

Not sure what won, but if I had to place money I would say winner of Jay and Phil's match (faeries mirror).
In the T8, kithkin beat 5cc, and pnaps won over Jay in the mirror.
