Tokens are running everywhere on MTGO. all versions of it. what is the best way to combat this? i been playing a rdw but unless im on the play with a good starting hand I pretty much lose.
Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
(1) Blasphemous Act
(2) Rolling Tremblor (if they're not spirit tokens)
(3) Curse of Death's Hold
(4) Sever the Bloodline
(5) Grafdiggers Cage (to stop Linger Souls flashback)
(6) Play tokens as well
Additionally, I don't think RDW is in a very strong position after DKA. You are playing a weaker deck against some of the strongest archetypes at the moment so I'm not sure what you can really do to combat it.
Blasphemous act seems to work the best for me. I'd put Rolling temblor second. I'm not sure if either of those fits your RDW deck. It seems like if you're not running tokens, you need around 6 or 7 sweepers in your deck to keep up.

Some facts of magic:
-Terror is an emotion which, when experienced, results in death.
-The pox was a disease notorious for having killed one-third, rounded up, of Europe’s population. Smallpox, on the other hand, killed only a single person.
-A person riding a horse cannot be stopped by foot soldiers, large animals, walls, archers, or even catapults.
If you glance at daily results from yesterday there was a 4-0 RG list running predator ooze, young wolf, strangleroot geist, vorapede, and then ran 4 main deck blasphemous act. Pretty much you can play out most of your guys and then it's a 1 sided wrath effect. You can find the list, was playing 2 kessig wolf run to trample past tokens, as well as 4 huntmaster. IDK how good the deck is, but if people run into main deck acts you can get some good wins.
I like current block formats the most.
Its so limited to its power scale against other formats.
Block constructed should be a more competitive format like it was back in Champions or Ravnica.
I proxied it up just to mess around with. I've got my wife playing WR Tokens. She isn't the best player in the world and she beat my face in playing UGb Dredge last night 5-1 Matches. Hellrider is just obscene. I'm going to play this against her tonight.

I've been seeing Gr aggro decks like that a lot recently... I think after things settle down with DKA we're going to have that as one of the more competitive new deck types. I am running this right now:
I actually want to run +2 Wolfbitten Captive, +2 Predator Ooze, +2 Huntmaster and pull out the Gang's and Young Wolves. I just don't have the cards yet. Even with this setup though it works pretty well and it's a fun deck. I actually really like the Scorned Villager over Dawntreader Elk... when she flips she is a pretty relevant body and she makes it pretty easy to pop down a Huntmaster or Garruk on turn 3 which is really the optimal play. Elk is nice in limited but I have a hard time wanting to play a card that forces me to pay mana AND sac it to grab a land. I'd rather just play Mulch or something or go with Pilgrim/Villager.
EDIT: ...and I realized after I posted this that I accidentally steered the topic AWAY from tokens. So as an addendum to this I just want to add that siding in stuff like Naturalize, Blasphemous Act and Rolling Tremblor vs tokens is going to make this an extremely adequate deck in that situation. It's probably the best color combo available in the block right now to handle a mass of little dudes that want to overrun you.
It's still difficult to outlast tokens if they can flashback the 5 mana token spell. I've added rolling temblor as insurance against it.

Seen some guys maindecking Silver Fox - laughed at first. Then I thought "genius". A bit incestuous, but the whole meta has become about Intangible Virtue and to a lesser extend Curse.
In the rumor mill, there is a thread where people are speculating (with good evidence behind the claims) that Intangible Virtue is getting banned in ISD Block Constructed this tuesday. Check it out:
Sever the bloodline, blasphemous act, killing wave, pyroclasm, there's plenty of cards to take care of tokens and keep them under control. Token decks are jokes.

Curse of Death's Hold, Thalia can even slow them down.
