8-mans, 2-mans and Daily Events are all having prize structure changed to pay out in MMA2015.
2-man queues are being raised to 4-ticket entry.
What do people think of the EV? I think the 8-mans actually look better than the Dailies. Dailies pay out only two packs for a 3-1 finish. 8-mans pay out a pack per win. From eyeballing it, it looks like there's some value in the 8-mans (I haven't done any math at all).
2 packs for a 3-1 is laughable. They'd have to be worth over 8 tickets each to be equivalent to the 4 DTK 2 FRF they currently reward a 3-1. Seeing as the first Modern Masters was only in the 6.5-7.5 range for the first few months around the release and this one seems to offer less EV it doesn't look like they'll come close to matching the current payout.

The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. They're pricing the MM2015 packs online at $6.99, while the paper packs at $9.99. They're doing the prizes with the paper pricing - it makes more sense if the packs at $9.99 digitally.

Oh wait they're going to change the normal payout to 11/3 aren't they. I wouldn't put it past them.
Should read the link he posted.
DEs are 7/2
When they had VMA they did 6/2. So this is a slight improvement, though terrible if you 3/1.

WOTC needs to get their act together.
With redemption there probably would of been a huge market.
I wonder if this change was to try to combat that somewhat, but to be honest, I find it hard to believe they had that much forethought.
JiN is 3.4 but isn't paid by any constructed format.
