I was reading through and preparing to update our beginners guide and FAQ and it really hit me how steep the learning curve is for MTGO. With paper, you have a deck of cards and you sit down with someone and play. Hopefully that person knows the rules. Then you might find other people in your school that play, or stumble into a store and learn about organized events. As a comparison MTGO starts you out on the floor of a Grand Prix with all these events going on, people playing casually, in tournaments, in big events, in side events, in PTQs in events you have to qualify for. There are different payment schemes, there is the official store and then there are all these other vendors. I think it's completely overwhelming.
I know most people here aren't new, but I know there are a lot of new people here. I've followed the "I'm new and need help" thread, and want that thread to continue for help to specific problems or questions, so this thread is asking, what are topics that need more in depth coverage? They can be client based, market based, metagame based, format questions et.
As a reminder: This is NOT a bash the client thread. That's here.
As a side note, I'm looking for someone with some experience in creating youtube movies who could answer some questions. PM me if you want to volunteer your knowledge.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
