The response to the July release of the Magic 2015 Core Set and September release of Khans of Tarkir positions the brand well into 2015. We believe there is tremendous future potential for MAGIC: THE GATHERING as it continues to grow around the world. We are investing in the brand, both in digital and analog play, through technology and storytelling.
Basically since the paper brand grew enough, they were able to phrase it in such a way that since they made money, they can say the brand grew, while not disclosing that the digital sector lost money in the MODO department. Or hey, maybe Duals sold more this year despite getting the worst reviews ever for the brand, and that is part of the digital sector like MODO. Basically, they're tap dancing around the fact that profits were way down in the MODO sector. The way that they phrased the technology part is telling. Duels this year got crap reviews and well... we all know about V4. So they're "investing" in order to grow the digital sector. Whatever that means. Sure hasn't done much so far.

I kept screwing up with my Sultai deck, because I kept thinking my graveyard was empty for Delve cards. Ya know, that big empty gray unused space where the graveyard has appeared for like 10 YEARS! Yea great idea, let's make the graveyard hidden by default in the MIDDLE OF A LIMITED FORMAT WITH A GRAVEYARD MECHANIC!

Yep. Adding a button to pop-out the graveyard if necessary would have solved the main grave-issues but once again they chose the most unintuitive solution possible.
And I don't understand why I need to completely reboot the client and wait 30 sec for it to load everytime I disconnect for 2-3 seconds.

Its just baffling though, all they needed to do was put the graveyard count back in, leave it where it was and allow you to pop it into a window. There is NO reason that we should have to click each game to get the graveyard to show. It's not each session. It's each game. They've said as much on Twitter. Each games starts with the graveyard hidden because it is empty. This was a stupid design decision, and we shouldn't give them a pass on it just because it isn't THAT much work for us. I don't know how anybody that actively plays the game of Magic thought that it would be a good idea to have the graveyard hidden by default. Exiled and revealed cards, fine, but not the graveyard. It is absolutely stunning that they decided to take the way the game has always worked, on both V3 and V4 (didn't play on V2 or earlier), with the graveyard being shown by default (v3 with the ability to pop out, v4 without) and change it to the opposite of what makes sense.
As for it persisting between games, as I said above, it gets hidden at the start of the game. The claim is that when you pop it out, it will be the same size and in the same place as you last set it, but this has NOT been my experience. Will have another chance to check it out shortly, as I just started a new draft.
EDIT: It remembered between rounds of the same tournament. And in my new tournament. It did not remember when double queuing at the same time earlier, nor did it remember at all for me yesterday. Regardless, while it remembers the size and place, you should not need to click to bring it up every game.

I think the "hidden" zones is actually vastly superior to both V3 and prior V4. most of the time, I don't care whats in my yard. If my deck is all about it, sure I have to click -1- button to have it shown. IMO this helps me focus and pay much more attention to what cards are actually in my yard instead of what I perceived prior.

I apologize for not reading all the post. I'm trying to learn the new client. And every single function about it is worse...slower...more complicated...several more clicks...more windows...impossible (managing collection),(deck building),(managing your up for trade cards). I Haven't found one single thing that has improved. It just doesn't exist...ok I'm tilting i've timed out in a few draft matches...But this has to be the biggest wtf ...4-5 years development. Go back to v3 pretty please with sugar on top...or even better start from shandalar and make tiny changes. I want to play I do... but what a **** are they thinking. It has remained for me between games and matches. No problems at all.
The biggest issue here is that popping out the graveyard is mandatory. People can say its not, but they're lying. Its too good of a source of info to pass up. So having two graveyards popped out eats into the very limited space available on the field to begin with. They somehow managed to make the client worse. It's mindboggling. Who in their right mind thought that the V3 way of displaying and popping out the graveyard was so bad. What was so bad about that method?
I'm super confused right now. This new display, at least on mine, there isn't enough space to pop out the graveyard and then stick it back in roughly the same area as the old graveyard used to be. I have seen people streaming and doing this, but there is more space on their screens. I'm talking all the way to the left, the empty area beneath the blue "zone" symbols and above the options/chat/details buttons. On my screen it's super tiny. And I can't figure out how to make it bigger. But there has to be a way, yes? Because like I said, the people I am seeing streaming seem to have figured out how to do it.
Help? What am I missing?

If memory serves me right they stated that they will ignore the multiplayer interface in regards to some updateds for now. There is something that's messed up with it, which is not easily fixable.
The source for this is either a tweet or an article.
Single player commander game.
It also didn't "download" an update or patch at all this week.
Who decided that only part of a revealed hand should show without needing to resize or scroll?

Add me to the list of people where the graveyard doesn't remember the location between games/matches. It remembers the size and shape but I have to manually move it each time.
I don't get it, there is a space below those buttons already where the graveyard used to go, what was wrong with leaving the graveyard there and just allowing us to pop it out. Same thing with the other zones, what was wrong with them being in the same spot and just letting us pop them out when needed? I get that we can place the windows where we want them when they do pop out so its always (in theory) in the same place, but with how the cards are displayed on the battlefield, its hard to find a good spot.
Hell, why do we even need to go and press a button to make any of these freaking zones show up, what was wrong with hoe V3 did it? Display a window when relevant and let you dismiss/close/minimise that window if you no longer need it instead of intentionally obscuring information unless you go looking for it. If my opponent reveals cards to be, I should be able to see them, I shouldn't need to click a button to know what they just revealed, if I then choose to dismiss all the cards so the window is empty, it should go away and then pop up again when its relevant.
Sometimes it feels like their default stance on things is "Different to V3 in some way, no matter what"
This is at least some kind of bug, but more of the kind that makes you wonder, and it was exactly the same in V3.
This might require opponent to have clicked F6 (or not have a stop in that phase).
Typically in 2nd main phase.
Tap lands to cast something, click card in hand to put on stack, and quickly press F4 or F6.
Spell is still on stack. Mana is consumed I think(cant really remember as Im writing this post), at least I know I e.g. only tapped 2 lands to play a bear. Warning window pops up;[ You are about to leave phase with mana in pool, .... , yes/no ? ], (the same that pops up when you indeed have mana in pool and change phase). Pressing yes results in Bear to enter board and giving turn to opponent.
Iows; its the pop up window that makes you wonder.
