I have a sad feeling the answer to this will be "HAHA no," but I figured I'd check:
MTGO has a fairly nice replay feature for draft games. However, it doesn't save all of the games. In my first draft, it saved all of the games, so I figured that games were cycled out on a rolling basis, but no: in my next draft, merely two (of seven!) draft games were saved.
I want to make a drafting series to put on YouTube, and it seems like the best way to commentate a game is from the replay. It's difficult to play and comment at the same time, and using replays will allow me to give better commentary in less time. But, I obviously won't be able to do this if I have no control whatsoever over the games MTGO chooses to save.
The client is terrible at saving games. You can view all your games until the event is over, but after that only a fraction of them will be saved.
As far as posting draft videos, many people (myself included) prefer to watch commentary that is being made at the same time as the game is played. It's much easier to discuss a game when you have the hindsight of what will happen, but it's also a lot harder to learn from such commentary.
Unfortunately this does seem to be a common problem. It seems to be hit or miss in terms of how many games are lost. I haven't noticed it happening very often to me, but I don't always rewatch my games.
Honestly I don't see this as something on the top of their 'to fix' list. I'd much rather them devote those resources to bringing Leagues back.
Commentating live during the draft and matches is an option, but I'd understand if you'd be more comfortable going through a replay. I know that if I ever had the urge to post/record videos with audio I'd have difficulties doing a live recording.

Waiting patiently for MTGO Leagues to become a priority again. It's been 4 years :sick:.

If you really want to save a replay, write down the game number (not the match number) during the game. Afterwards, if you see the replay has not been saved, in Windows navigate to %AppData%\Wizards of the Coast\Magic Online\3.0 and locate the file titled {username}.mygames, where {username} is your mtgo username. Open that file in a text editor and place your cursor at the end of the file. On a new line, add information in this fashion:
The game number is the only important information, the rest can all be junk as those are just for display purposes. Save the file, then go to the mtgo client and watch a different replay. The Games list should then update with the added game at the top.

{game number}#{match number}#{date}#{time}#{format}#{player 1}#{player 2}
