That's actually what I based my current landbase off of. I was just hoping someone could help me run numbers to confirm my choices are solid. I remember one tip such as wanting 19 black sources to be able to cast Lili on time.
I think it's bad. A number of people have tried it. The only version that had any decent success imo was Jacob Wilson's list that was more aggressive with Grim Flayer and Mishra's Bauble. Otherwise, you're diluting your deck for what? It's not as if Lingering Souls is some sort of bomb that can't be dealt with.

what about diluting just for path?
Again... for what? If those cards are appealing to you, you're better off playing Abzan.

Which Eldrazi? Bant Eldrazi is fairly close to 50/50. We have a slight advantage in game 1. They have a slight advantage after sideboard. EldraziTron is just going to wreck you if their mana base doesn't wreck them. Otherwise, no amount of Path to Exile helps with that. They play more efficient beaters that either double up as spells or 2-for-1's. Even going after their lands is a problem because they don't need to have all the Urza lands online since they have Eldrazi Temple. Then they also have Mind Stone to play around Blood Moon. Bad matchups are just bad. We can't win 'em all.

I haven't had that many problems with it, and we have two Bant Eldrazi players at my LGS. Kalitas and Tarmogoyf are rock stars in that match as well as all of our discard. They're a midrange value deck much like Jund is, but their creatures are more in tune with that strategy than all of ours are.
EDIT: I recognize that maybe my results are atypical, but I really don't know why. Maybe it's the opponents I happen to come across. Maybe I'm playing against them differently. I really don't know why, but I've never had as much trouble as some others that visit this forum. I will say that, if you're having problems with Bant Eldrazi, Fulminator Mage on the draw and Blood Moon are good against them.

I went back up to x3 terminates main (sideboarded collected brutality) which seems to help a little.
I am new to Jund though so I'm not 100% sure what I am doing lmao.
But it's fun! (I used to play Jeskai Flash)
Also, I meant to say Fulminator Mage on the PLAY is good. Not on the draw.
As much as I love Jeskai Flash (and I had alot of success with it at 1ks and such) I think Jund is just an overall more consistent deck.
I finally broke my ten year personal agreement of never buying Goyfs...
What do you think of the possibilities of "spirit jund"?
Thoughts?
If you want flying tokens - and what's not to love about flying tokens? - you don't have to wreck your mana-base. Test Bitterblossom and see if that blows your dress up.
It comes with its own issues and may require some tweaks, but I think it sounds like a better plan.
I took Jund to Thursday night modern again. Ended up 3-0-1.
Beat elves x2 and experiment scapeshift.
Game 1 vs scapeshift I had hand disruption, liliana, and goyf. Was able to ult liliana for the win.
Game 2 vs scapeshift I had hand disruption + clock. Fairly easy matchups.
Game 1 vs Bant Eldrazi : 2-0
Game 2 vs BG Tron : 2-1
Game 3 vs EldraTron : 1-2
Game 4 vs Affinity : 1-2
Against Affinity, the last one was really difficult with Etched Champion n°1 turn 2 and an other one turn 4 with a ravager on the board.
His hand and draws were almost perfect and I didn't see any of my Damnation or Anger.
But usually I've got a pretty good record post-board against Affinity.
I will play tomorrow at a bigger tournament (6 rounds), we'll see what will be played

Nice! I'm taking Jund to a 1k tomorrow. I'm really liking it.
I feel less guilty about breaking my promise to never buy goyfs
Not sure what to think about 4 copies of Ravine now. But I guess this is one of the major reasons to play Jund these days, so I get the idea. How were peoples experiences with the 4 of concerning mana screws?

I do not think you want to cut Ravine. I'm new to Jund, but I've been having no mana issues.
Ravine is our fastest way to close out the game vs combo and/or big mana decks.

Cut Ravine? 3 copies of Ravine have been the staple for a long period of time now. Its not about cutting, its about increasing it to 4.

Interesting. Every big tournament finish I've seen out of Jund plays x4.
