To be honest, as bad as it might sound, I don't think it's that bad if Selfless Spirit is your only white creature. My experience so far is that if you draw any of your bullets, you don't get to use them as instant speed tricks. Therefore it's as dead in your hand as if you didn't have the mana to cast it. Of course Selfless comes with a 2/1 flying body which is quite valuable especially since we're also weak to flying threats. Plus it protects your team from at least one spell. Be it spot removal or boardwipe.
On the other hand Revoker isn't a card you typically want in your hand. If you have to blindly cast him from your hand, you need to guess what might be the possible threat unless you've Thoughtseized him beforehand. This severely limits its impact on the game in comparison if you can tutor him up on the spot.
If you have Cavern of Souls you can sometimes name the type of your bullet, to get that coloured mana for it.
However if you're running multiple bullets in the same colour, then your chances of seeing one in your hand are high enough, that you need the mana base to support it. Else you risk ending up with dead cards in your hand too often.
What are you thoughts on sideboarding a white creature with no white mana while running Chords and companies. The card I'm referring to is selfless spirit because there's no green or black equivalent creature spells. If not, is it worth it to splash white just for that?
I used to do this. Then I got annoyed and bought 4 windswept heaths and 1 temple garden, which is about as expensive as a single horizon canopy. I'm not a budgety player per se but I have a bar for what I consider to be reasonable prices for cards. (price vs utility)

Playing Merfolk for a while, now breweing with the green side of the force too =) Tribal are just too amazing !!
Anyone have any very cool elves image to make an amazing playmat ??
The Sword of the Animist playmat is an existing design (ORI Gameday Champ IIRC) that looks sweet. For other designs that aren't on mainstream mats:
Naya Hushblade is the elf in my Avatar. I think she looks really cool. Shaman of Spring is another cool looking, and little known elf. The card is terrible, but the art is awesome.
If you are a fan of Rebecca Guay, impress your friends with the little known Trivia that Kaysa is really an elf.
Or you can stick to her better known Elf art: Priest of Titania
Last but certainly not least, I think the FNM Promo art for Elvish Visionary is much cooler than the normal one: http://i.imgur.com/vj6bd.jpg

11:15, restate my assumptions: 1. Mathematics is the language of nature. 2. Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers. 3. If you graph these numbers, patterns emerge. Therefore: There are patterns everywhere in nature. - Maximillian Cohen.
I cant handle Horizon Canopy, and GW source I only have 3 Razorverge...I would not have to buy Fetchs and shocks to be honest...but I guess I have no option
I have more white because my sideboard is mainly white. The black sources are really only for shaman and the one or two black cards in the Sideboard. I also run two elves of the deep shadow as well.
coming up is a Modern (probably) 4-Roud Win-A-Box tournament at my LGS in Germany. After regulary going 3-1 in previous tournaments, but never making the final step, I want to go try-hard and make it happen.
I'm running a 18-land GBw deck with Westvale Abbey as the utility land. It worked out way better than Nykthos. My manabase might not be optimal as I don't have Cavern of Souls, Horizon Canopy or Fastlands. Instead I go for Fetch/Shock. As my non-creature spells I'm running a 3-1 Lead the Stampede/Chord of Calling split (besides CoCo obviously).
The following decks might come up:
Abzan Aggro
Jund/Junk
5c Domain Zoo (probably with Burn Spells > Discard in their Flex Slots)
Elves
Merfolk
Dredge
Grixis/Jeskai/4c Control
Maybe: Affinity, Titanbreach, Ad Nauseam, Bant Eldrazi, Infect, Tron
Some guys switch between decks so not all of the listed one might come up. Ad Nauseam overlaps with Merfolk, Abzan Aggro overlaps with Bant Eldrazi/Affinity, Dredge overlaps with Grixis and Infect overlaps with Elves. The store is quite competitive so you can expect optimized lists and usually no Brews or Rogue Decks. The store usually is in love with midrange decks. Now you have all the information.
The sideboard right now looks like this with cards I probably want to run:
Burrenton Forge-Tender/Selfless Spirit against Wipes (Dredge, Control, Jund).
Spellskite as protection from Burn/Pump spells as well as a blocker (Control, Jund, Domain Zoo, Infect)
Scavenging Ooze in grindy MUs and against Graveyards (Dredge, Jund, Control)
Phyrexian Revoker as a flexible Needle (Affinity, Tron, Elves, Merfolk)
Reclamation Sage as the go-to strategy against Cage, Chalices, ... (Affinity, Titanbreach [Chalice], Tron, Merfolk)
Elvish Champion against non-Infect green Decks (Abzan, Jund (?), Elves (play it and win. Backswing would hurt)...)
Chameleon Colossus against removal heavy decks (mainly Jund, Grixis)
Thragtusk to gain life and have a resiliant threat (Control, Domain Zoo, Jund, Junk, Dredge)
Chord of Calling for faster MUs
As you might see I have three open slots in the sideboard. Options are: Melira, Kataki, Eidolon of Rhetoric, second Scavenging Ooze, Relic of Progenitus (no Jixlid Jailor available), Fracturing Gust, Aven Mindcensor
I'm pending between Nettle Sentinel and Essence Warden in the Maindeck. Essence Warden provides a lot of life against Abzan Aggro, Merfolk, Elves, Zoo, Dredge. In addition to that Nettle Sentinel can't block the bigger creatures from Abzan Aggro like he can against Burn. Even Nacatls are out of range. Nettle Sentinel however can go pretty nuts with Heritage Druid against Abzan Aggro, Bant Eldrazi and so on, but is not that good against control. Right now I think it might be a better meta-call to go for Essence Warden with the option to cut Thragtusk.
Sideboardplan roughly looks like this:
Control/grindy Midrange: Cut Nettles, shave Dwynen's Elite, shave Heritage (cause I cut Elves), add 1-ofs with more value by itself (Ooze, Thragtusk...)
Aggro: Cut Visionary, Cut Lead, Shave Shaman, add Chord, add Silverbullet
Now the part where I ask for help:
What do you think of my choices so far (both Maindeck and Sideboard)?
What cards would you cut and which ones would you add to the Sideboard/Maindeck?
What are your reccomendations on the sideboardplan?
Don't hold back. You can go full Spike. No hard feelings
Thank you for your help. I might come up with a report in return as long as my time allows it (Deadlines all over the place...).

My Elves playmat is Seek the Wilds. Good combo of my favourite set + favourite tribe.
