Trials Gideon helps a ton in any matchup against creatures that don't die to bolt. Again, he is basically an oblivion ring you can replace every turn, and if you have no important targets you hit them for 4.
I get that but aren't you on UW essentially now? Or are you on Jeskai Draw-Go?
Jeskai Control by Harlan Firer
13th Place at StarCityGames.com Classic on 5/21/2017 Modern
I find this deck to be rather interesting, 'cause it's a mix of Jeskai Geist and Jeskai Control, and this is something that has always intrigued me. The idea of being able to have a decent clock, but at the same time, being good at playing the attrition game.
I'm not saying I'm in love with this list, I don't know if I like the lack of Ancestral Vision for instance, 4x Electrolyze seems a bit much and I'm not sure Molten Rain is better than Spreading Seas, but the fact this list did well is interesting.
..i might be wrong but Firer seems to enjoy playing Jeskai a lot
Indeed the 4 Elyze seem to be quite odd in the current meta. Other than that is might be right to go the Geist path and use Cryptic to tap down the team for the last few damage points..
This take is interesting: heavy on card advantage with Sphinx's Rev and Verdict as well as Electrolyze and Cryptic Command; Ajani as a planeswalker win condition that supplements a burn plan from Bolt/Helix/Electrolyze; and 3 Spreading Seas a la recent UW Control lists for disruption and card advantage. This looks pretty good to me. A bit more disruptive thanks to Spreading Seas than more 'straightforward' Jeskai Control lists, but very firmly a counter-burn / control hybrid. Plus three Leyline of Sanctity (!?) in the sideboard, presumably for the Shadow matches.
I like Vincent's list, my kind of thing. Personally not a fan of Spreading Seas in draw go, but hey whatever works. I Like the 1-of Spell Snare, I'm also on 1 the moment too and it feels just right. I agree with the no Negate in the MB too, it's an excellent card in the right match ups, but has been awkward on a number of occasions for mine, SB sounds about right. I do like where he's going with the counter/burn control plan. Control the fair match ups, burn em' out in the unfair match ups.

It's basically UW splashing for bolt yes, why do you ask?

Hah, I've been trying out this type of list for two years now but never got it to work! He plays Electrolyze over AV as he wants to draw more live cards, as this is basically a burn list. He plays Molten Rain not just for the damage element, but also to "combo" them with Surgical Extraction against tron.
I'm about to leave for Kobe and I thought I'd give everyone a chance to check out my thoughts and perhaps checking out my sideboard plan will give ideas to others. As it's quite exhaustive, I may have made some missed a card or two let me know if I forgot something obvious. I'll give my list and sideboard plans.

That's the long and short of it. If you have any questions or comments feel free to let me know. You might also check out my list from Guangzhou to compare the changes I've made since the last modern Gp I played in(available in MTG archive GP Guangzhou 50th place).
List looks good. I take it you remove the burn based win cons and side in a more permanent based win con in Geist of Saint Traft when you need to race? I'm assuming that since those particular cuts and additions look consistent across most of your listed match ups above. If that's correct, I'm interested in that approach. Personally, when I side in more permanent based win cons, I still keep the burn spells in to help race, but I do find sometimes I have to cut more disruptive elements to do this. Maybe I'll give your sideboard plan a go for my deck but maybe also every match up is different and it depends but seems legit.
The only thing I could suggest is: Keep the Spell Snares in vs Eldrazi Tron. Walking Ballista X=1 is a play they can make and the damage can add up. They also play Chalice of the Void X=1 which can be troublesome shutting off your Paths. Warping Wail may also be sided in if they expect crumble. Snare offers great protection against these. I find this match up can get very grindy.
Good luck at Kobe too. I race that track regularly on MT5dx at the arcades, looks like a nice city scene.

I 5-0 the LCT at Gp Kobe friday side events. It's the list I previously posted. It should appear on the MTG website whenever they put up the GPT winning lists (tonight or tomorrow).
Jeskai Nahiri can be good. But I think it's much more difficult than previous Jeskai decks. I find the margin is very narrow but there is often a path to victory.
Cast Out didn't get drawn too often honestly. It removed a goyf, an elf lord and got cycled against Gifts/Storm and when I needed to find a third land. Seems great.
The cycling land has also done well. There was once it entered tapped for second land drop which wasn't helpful but it's been a redraw quite a few times.
4 Knots is fine. The first fuels the second, all the way up to 4+ copies including flashback from Snap. Not to mention incidental delving with fetches, SV and the odd bolt. And Once you've hit 3 lands in play, it basically becomes a go to mana sink and doesn't depend on Delve as much as a turn 2 Knot since Force Spike is good enough against most things curving out hard. Esper draw-go averages about 3 LK without much issue. I'm interested in the fact that the entire 60 is all 4-of's for a control deck.

He definitely drew too many Electrolyzes in the quarterfinal he lost against grixis shadow.
Electrolyze feels well-positioned right now. Lots of one toughness creatures.
Jonathan's a good player. He made 4th place a couple years back with a Jeskai splash Lingering Souls deck. Electrolyze has never really been a bad card choice in any deck that can support it.
Has anyone else been playing ryochi tamadas list? I just picked it up and ran it through a league. Ended up 4-1. Anyone have thoughts on improvements to the deck? I'm not experienced enough with it to make those calls, but the deck felt a little dicey in some of the more go wide matchups. I had a lot of draw steps where it was path or I die. I topdecked the path each time because I'm whitelisted, but I think the list might need some way to clear the board. Maybe a kozileks return? Spell queller is the nuts and I don't really want to be boarding any out I'm order to accommodate a sweeper.
