I'm also on Humans Knightfall and virtually undefeated with it at my LGS. I switched to playing other things like GW Value Town and Saheeli combo to switch things up, but humans is a great deck and probably the most competitive version of Knightfall IMO. In terms of how it compares to the flavor of the month 5-color humans, I would say that it's not as disruptive and therefore weaker against combo (though you do have Thalia, and have access to Unified Will postboard), but is stronger against grindy value decks and maybe aggro decks (CoCo is a hell of a card). It also holds up better against Blood Moon, which is worth noting.
Mind sharing your list?
Currently on traditional Knightfall, but would love to try out humans.
Here's my list. It changes slightly from week to week (especially the sideboard). Tamiyo, Field Researcher is a bit of a fun-of, but it has been very effective in any grindy matchup or midrange creature mirror.
This is my current list! The cool thing about this deck that you can go all-in aggro with Champion of the Parish, do the combo or even play a more controlly/taxes style (with the proper sideboard cards).
Lately I lost a lot of matches because either CoCo whiffed hard or never saw CoCO/ Reflector Mage... so my last FNMs were mediocre. 3-2 & 2-2.
Some explanations
Only 3x Noble Hierarch - obvious budget cut. Although I like playing only 7 manadorks and would put out a Pilgrim for the fourth Hierarch.
One Meddling Mage main for Storm/other combo decks. It's more a meta-thing and it'ss nice to lock out your opponent by naming their wincon. All in all I'm not a big fan of the mage without any handinformation. Thalia, Heretic Cathar is a bomb! Good stats and her ability is even good when she resolves turn 3-5! I had situations where entering the battlefield tapped was the key to win! Tapped fetchland? Awesome! Tapped Smasher? Yup!
2x Tireless Tracker super nice card that I wanted to try out! It's ok in the maindeck but I will swap her with Eternal Witness again. Bringing back something from the graveyard is better than draw a "random" card.
Landbase - 2 basics of each because there is a lot of taxes decks in my meta and if you play against the same players over and over they will know the number of basics you run.
Also 4x Wooded Foothills and Unclaimed Territory because budget.
In the Sideboard I wanted to try some cards aswell. Shaper's Sanctuary looks cool. Had no chance to play it for now but I think it will work against Control. Spell Quller was once a human... I think? Anyway, it's a very good card and I try it over Unified Will. It's not the best against the decks you board unified will but I think it will work! Also it's a beater! Eldritch Evolution A-W-E-S-O-M-E! I'm a big fan of this card. It's suprising for your opponent and a Pilgrim is a good target to sac. I always had the problem not finding my answers after sideboarding... now I can tutor it. Nice!
The deck is a lot of fun and I really like that you have a lot of ways to play it!
Is it common to only play 21 lands in the Humans list?
When playing the traditional list, I always feel like 22 is the minimum I want to play (8 dorks), because there is a real chance your dorks get pushed/bolted or you don't curve out smoothly.
Anyone have a list handy with MWPs (actual data) vs. Tier 1/2 Modern decks? (Affinity, Storm, Jeskai Geist, Etron, G Shadow, Humans, Burn, Tron, Titan Shift)
Trying to settle on something for SCG Columbus in January and having a hell of time fishing through all the random Company lists.

In my opinion YES!

Tournament recap of GP Madrid.
This was a team GP, unified modern, so we were not allowed to play the same non basic card in more then 1 deck, that is why I had to replace a Ghost Quarter with a Tectonic Edge.
Other then that this is my normal 75.
I don't really know what happend all the matches so just a short recap.
Round 1 Affinity 2-1
Had to take 5 mulligans in these 3 games, but luckly the hate cards came down on turn 2 of both sideboarded games for the wins.
Game 1 I was going down to 1 life, was able to get a courser out and bump myself to 4 and close the game with 3 big hits.
Game 2 I was able to get the combo out after my opponent brought out meddling mage and named collected company when I had a knight out and he didn't the combo.
Sided :
-1 Tracker -1 Courser
+2 Mirran Crusader
Feel like I just need a bigger damage dealer then those 2 and a something that can't be chump blocked by a noble.
Round 3 Affinity 2-1
Played against someone I know from the local PPTQ scene, so I knew what he played, but he wasn't sure what deck I brought.
Game 1 I had a mull to 5, came close but in the end it was too much.
Game 2 and 3 I was able to get kataki and stoney out and close the games without much problems.
Game 1 I won without seeing much cards and had no real idea what I was up against.
Game 2 he showed me more and it was pox and I had a land light hand with 1 noble.
After 2 pox I was down to 1 noble and 1 voice token and 0 lands, he pushed my noble and I had to path it in response giving me 1 forest, got another forest and was able to play an ooze and gain some life vs his bloodghast and spirit tokens.
In the end I was able to close the game with my ooze as he had some bad luck with his draws.
Think I sided in 2 Mirran Crusaders, but forgot what I took out and have no notes.
Round 5 Dregde 2-1
Game 1 was over fast, he was able to flood the board with 5 creatues on turn 3 and I just gave up.
Game 2 I was able to get ooze out, he lightning axe it and I played my 2nd one and that one was enough to slowly eat his graveyard and take a win for me.
Game 3 He took a mull to 4 I believe and missed his land drop for the first 3 turns and it wasn't a real game.
Game 1 He had an 1/1 DS and I casted COCO with 1 mana up, he dismembered his own DS paying 4 life making it a 5/5 and holding priority to cast stubborn denial on my COCO.
We both forgot that the DS was death and when I called a just on his next turn it was too late to fix the mistake and he won the game with some bad draws from me.
Game 2 I had a COCO on a critical point hitting 1 birds of paradise and the game was over as I was drawing terrible here.
Both games I was able to just get the better of him with my creatures.
Game 2 Stoney on the board and an Unified will on his TKS were the game winners.
Never played against this deck and no idea if this was a brew.
It uses young pyromancer with goblin rabblemaster to flood the board and some burn spells.
Later he get out a bedlam reveler to refill his hand.
Was overwelmed both games.
Sided in a staticaster but had no sideboard plan for this and no idea what else I did.
Ended day 1 with a 7-2 record, so did the team so we were back for day 2.
Round 10 vs U/R Breach 0-2
Game 1 I was wrecked by a bloodmoon with only 1 forest out, tried to get a coco in, got remanded and 2nd time it had some lousy hits and I lost the game.
Game 2 He was able to bloodmoon again, had a forest and a plains out but it seems breach into emrakul is good.
Sided : Again no sideboard plan for this deck.
Paths and Reflector mages came out, in were the 2 canonists 2 unified will, clique and meddling mage.
Round 11 affinity 1-1 ( team mates won before I finished )
Lost game 1 again, just normal affinity having it.
Game 2 I had Wolf Run on the field and did an alpha strike forcing him to block with his whole team when I was on 14 still and he on 9.
Passed priority after blockers and he didn't make a move either losing his board, not beeing able to sac anything to his ravager because of my wolf run able to trample for leathal on some creatures.
And had a tec edge backup for his nexus if he for some reason was able to survive a mass sac.
Sided : same as before
-2 Coral -2 voice 1 tracker
+2 Stoney +2 kataki +1 Staticaster
Round 12 1-2 vs Scapeshift
Game 1 I was able to win with the combo.
Game 2 he was able to titan and kill me.
Game 3 I was able to clique his titan, but then I made a critical mistake.
My hand was unified will and COCO, with 6 mana and 2 creatures on the field.
He had 7 lands and 3 creatures and played a scapeshift, I saw this comming and played COCO as planned to try and hit 2 creatures and cast unified will, but then noticed I tapped all my blue sources and wasn't able to counter his scapeshift anymore.
Would not have won on the spot as I he was high on life totals, but would put me in a winning position.
Round 13 Boggles 1-1 ( team mates won before I was done )
Game 1 He was really unlucky and stuck on 1 land for a time only able to make a 10/10 first striker with hexproof and 3 1/1 tokens.
I waited with spell queller up and just growing my Knight untill I was able to take of the totem aura from him and forced him to block my knight with all his guys for a trade and then pathed 1 of his tokens.
Game 2 He got out what he wanted and was able to make a creature I couldn't handle.
Game 1 He got his things out, with bridge and shuffled a pridemage that was on top.
Few draws later I was able to find the pridemage again, kill bridge and take down game 1.
Game 2 He had bridge out, but I build up a nice board with wolf run and 2 birds being able to get some damage in that way.
He found pyrite spellbomb and Academy ruins to bring it back and kill my birds, so we moved on to game 3.
Game 3 He didn't draw too well and I was able to get a great board, when my team mates both lost, but he told me the game was mine as he had nothing to win there, so who am I to question Ivan Floch if he tells me I won.
Ended up going 10-4 in the GP as a team.
Personal record was 8-4 with 2 games not finished.
Round 14 we were playing for a top 16 finish, but since we lost we ended up 33th out of 622 and out of the prizes.
Since it was a team GP only top 24 got prizes.
Overall had great weekend and happy with the deck.
Only thing I aint too happy with is the selfless spirits, don't know what to replace them with ( 2 drop for sure ), but this is something I have to look into as they have some moments.
Great result mate, well done.
I think Selfless Spirit is a meta choice, in my area there are a lot of control decks and the spirit shines in these kind of matchups. I can only recommmend adding a second Pridemage: The card works pretty well when attacking, and its hatebear ability is incredibly useful in many matchups (Just think about Search for Azcanta, Lantern, Affinity, Eidolon of Great Revelry, opposing Coursers and random artifacts or enchantments).
Decided to fully embrace the Red splash and go up to true 4 color.
Has honestly been great. Kari Zev is meh, but it's nice to have another 2 drop. Mantis Rider has been fantastic though.
Lost 0-2 to Lantern
Everything just kinda worked out perfect for him.
Game one I had the combo in hand but he shredded it with discard into Bridge (which I have no MD answer for)
Game 2 I keep a hand of Pilgrim Mantis Rider, Knight, and Uwill (and lands). He whiffs colored sources at first but gets one just in time to thoughtseize my Uwill and slam a bridge. And then topdecks a pitching needle for my Knight so I can't go to plan B of Kessig beats and H.Canopy in response to mill triggers. Then he keeps me from drawing anything relevant (like the deck is supposed to). I sideboarded a whopping 11 cards lol, which I honestly think was correct but maybe not?
Won 2-0 over infect
(Saw SO many CoCos in these 2 games, kinda hard not to win with that)
Game on I'm on the draw, turn 1 he drops an elf and I drop a pilgrim. Turn 2 he swings, no blocks from me, slaps me for 9 infect. But turn 2 mantis rider into turn 3 CoCo and then topdecking another CoCo was enough to win it.
Game 2 I survive the early turns until I have CoCo mana (which I drew 3 of!). After the 2nd CoCo I've hit multiple Champions, Lieutenants, Reflector Mages, and a Knight. He swings with 2 attackers and open mana. I just block with everything but Knight because I have Retreat in hand.
Won 2-1 over Jeskai Nahiri
Grindy games, but my opponent was definitely playing very poorly doing things like snap helix to kill the noble I just played with like 7 lands in play, which cleared the way for a CoCo. He let me cast sooo many CoCos by making suboptimal plays like that. Also he kept taking shortcuts instead of passing priority when he should like "snap helix" when I had a U Will for the snap, or waking up a man land to block and then declaring it as a blocker immediately and getting mad when I say wait, I was gonna cast CoCo. I hit a reflector mage and he's like "blocks were already declared though". He got really upset with me but obviously he knew he was in the wrong because when I offered to call the judge he declined and backed off. Really annoying though
Mantis Rider was great here, coming off the top or a main phase CoCo to kill every Planeswalker to hit the field the entire match
Abzan Falconer is a fun-of, and he's nuts. Pushed lethal over blockers for the win game 3
Won 2-0 over ETron, probably the cleanest I've ever beaten this deck. Game 1 turn 3 combo seals the deal, and G2 I run him over with Champion into Lieutenant, U Will a Dismember, opponent casts TKS and sees my hand of Reflector Mage, Vithian Renegades (he had Chalice on one and G.Cage in play) and Mantis rider, concedes on the spot
Decided to fully embrace the Red splash and go up to true 4 color.
Has honestly been great. Kari Zev is meh, but it's nice to have another 2 drop. Mantis Rider has been fantastic though.
Congrats!
But your link don't work. Would you be so kind to post your list here? I'm suuuuper excited
Finished FNM 2-2 yesterday...
Round 1 vs mono green Stompy. Game one I combo off with Knight. Game two I hit a strong Company.
Round 2 vs UR Prowess
My opponent killed me game one with thing in the Ice and Kieln fiend. Game two I overrun him with to many dudes. Game three he threw they game away. I had a Knight facing flipped thing and a kiln fiend. He attacks and I tilted because was playing very slow. No blocks. He has no spells and I'm on a few lifepoints. I cast Company, hit Reflector and Knight #2. I can put him down to 2-3 life but on the swingback i would be dead. Opp? Scoops... ok.
Game 3 vs RUG Scapeshift
Damn it. I hate this deck. 0-2
Game 4 vs 5c Humans
Awesome game wich I lost 1-2.

Round 1 vs. UR Prowess
A new player that used to play commander. He started with Delver wich flipped turn 3. I had enough big dudes and dudettes with paths as my back up for a Kiln Fiend. 2-0
Round 2 vs. Bogles
My opponent won the dieroll and he was faster than me. Here I wish I had the Blessed Alliance in my sideboard.
-4 Reflecotr Mage, -3 Path // +Thalia, +2 Ethersworn, +2 Staticaster, +2 Unified Will
Game two was a race again and I was faster with multiple Lieutenants. Game three he was faster and get in with a 7 power Bogle with lifelink and get back 20 life. A Thalia's Lieutenant would be exactly 20 dmg to win the game... but I drew a land! 1-2
Round 3 vs. Elves
I saw him in the first round playing against a friend of mine so i knew he was playing BG Elves. I don't like the matchup.
Game one he took mulligans until he kept a hand with 5 cards. I won the dieroll and started with fetch-shock. Opponent? Scoops! Ok?!?! He told me he had no good cards in his hand and he didn't want me to know what he was on.
-Thalia, -2 Mayor, -2Tracker // +2 Staticaster, +2 Ethersworn, +Eldritch Evolution
Game two my opponent starts with land into manaelf. I start with land into champion. Turn two he plays two heritage druids and a lord wich I pathed end of turn. I play another Champion and a Pilgrim and started to beat down. After that turn my opponent just had lands and scooped after my company. 2-0
Round 4 vs. Grixis Shadow
This guy beat me last week so I wanted my revenge
Game one was a bit grindy but lil Thalia and some well timed path/reflector won me the game.
-2 Retreat, -Plains // +Thalia, +Bojuka Bog, +Shapers Sanctuary
Game two was a grindy one. Again lil Thalia was the best card! My opponent stuck on three lands and could kill me but Thalia shut his Snapcaster into push and KCommand down. 2-0
Round 5 vs. BR Hollow One
First time against this deck. I knew roughly what the deck does.
In the first game he starts with cycle Wraith, cycle Wraith but didn't found anything he needed and played Flameblade Adept. I kept a hand with the combo and started with a fetchland. He chipped in some damage but did no crazy things. On turn 4 I comboed off with Knight+Retreat.
+2 Ethersworn +Thalia +Evolution +Vithian Renegades // -2 Mayor -1Retreat -1Knight -1Tracker
Was super unsure with my sideboarding and it punished me. He starts off with an Adept. After that he looted and discarded Bloodghast and the Phoenix and played a Hollow One. The turn after he delved for a Gurmag Angler. As I mentioned above I only roughly knew the deck and didn't know about Gurmag and the Bloodghast...
-Renegades -Retreat -Plains -1 Knight -1Tracker // +Bojuka Bog +2 Staticaster +ForgeTender
I lost the game due a missplay in my opnion. I started with fetch/forest into Hierarch wich snacks a bolt. i was afraid of a blood moon wich he had in the sideboard but didn't board in and of a super aggro start. I fetch/plain and drew a Unclaimed Territory. Here i should have search for either a blue or a red source. After some combats he had lethal on board and i had a 5/5 Lieutenant facing a Hollow One. Here I drew a Staticaster wich I could not play because I was lacking a blue/red source. Flashing the Staticaster to block his biggest threat+shoot down 2 Bloodghast would be enough... Unforunately I was dead at this point. My only hope was to poker and hope he is afraid of attacking. So I attacked to force him to block wich he did. At that point my opponent started to think if there are any humans with flash and decided to go all-in. I said there is a human with flash... but not the right mana 1-2
Overall 3-2 and didn't had that much missplays wich felt good. Still loving this deck and happy it has good chances in the meta right now
Oh yeah to get away with mantis rider you definitely have to cut the ghost quarter, and then hope you don't draw Kessig/Gavony when you need that color intensive turn 2/3. I think I'm also playing one more Fetch than you too
Don't remember a whole lot of the specifics
2-1 win over Jeskai Nahiri
Had to mull to 5 game 3 and just barely pulled it out. Really only won to a misplay on his part. He had Nahiri ready to ultimate next turn and I was at 4 life. I only had 2 creatures that could attack, and he had 2 chump blockers. But instead of chumping both he tried to double block one and Path the other, but I had a Uwill for the path. there was really no good reason for him to do it that way. I even asked him what his line of thought was there and he said "I didn't expect you to board in counterspells". This is the same guy as last week btw, not a very strong player apparently
1-2 loss to GW Counters Company (this was close. I didn't bring counterspells in here, and after game 3 I think that was a mistake)
2-0 win over Esper Shadow (deaths Shadow is just such an easy matchup)
2-1 win over Kiki Chord
This one was clutch af too. I punted and misplayed so many times during this set that I really deserved to lose.
Game 3 I had to take his 11 damage alpha strike going to 2 life and then he used his 2nd Main to cast a Courser for blocking. I don't remember his life total but I know I didn't have enough. I drew a CoCo off the top and cast it main phase hitting Reflector mage for his blocker and mantis rider for extra triggers and haste damage to get there.

Sided :
-2 Coral -1 Tec edge
+2 Mirran C +1 Bojuka
Round 8 Eldrazi Tron 2-0
Both games I was able to just get the better of him with my creatures.
Game 2 Stoney on the board and an Unified will on his TKS were the game winners.
Sided :
-2 Selfless Spirit -2 Ooze
+2 Unified Will +2 Stoney
Round 9 R/B Tokens/burn 0-2
Sided :
-2 Reflector -1 Tracker -1 Courser -1 Pridemage
+2 Mirran +1 Meddling +2 Will
Round 13 Boggles 1-1 ( team mates won before I was done )
Game 1 He was really unlucky and stuck on 1 land for a time only able to make a 10/10 first striker with hexproof and 3 1/1 tokens.
I waited with spell queller up and just growing my Knight untill I was able to take of the totem aura from him and forced him to block my knight with all his guys for a trade and then pathed 1 of his tokens.
Game 2 He got out what he wanted and was able to make a creature I couldn't handle.
Sided :
-4 Path -2 Reflector
+2 Mirran +1 meddling +2 unified will +1 clique
Round 14 Lantern 2-1 ( Ivan Floch )

Time to do some testing and get ready for GP Lyon in 2 months.
My mates played eldrazi tron and grixis DS.
1 Eternal Witness seems wrong. You want at least 3 in Vizier lists. Also not a fan of Geist in the main.
GWU Knightfall Spirit Company GWU
GWB Abzan Evolution GWB

Legacy: Maverick
Pauper: UB Delver
updated my last post with some additional notes too
I played Knightfall Humans - inspired by the "Joel Larsson List" (https://www.channelfireball.com/articles/the-complete-humans-company-primer/). I changed some cards in the mainboard - check the decklist some post above. Also I changed two Blessed Alliance and the Tireless Tracker (I play two in the main instead of two Witness) for Bojuka Bog, Eldritch Evolution and Shapers Sanctuary. Everything else is Joels list.
First I wanted to try out the List @Dejadal posted here but in testing I had just problems with Mantis Rider. It's a awesome card but I didn't felt confident with it.
Round 1 vs.

3-1 again with this list
http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/humans-knightfall-3/
