Went 3-1 and got 3rd at a local Modern night at the LGS. Played the same list more or less as I posted earlier for the Modern 5k at SCG Prov. I did remove a Path for 1 more Birds making it 4x Birds and 3x Path.
Round 1: Janky Treasure Hunt Zombie deck : 2-0
Round 2: Affinity : 2-0
Round 3: UWR Midrange/Flash : 1-2
Round 4: Grixis Control (with Twin, Olivia, etc.) : 2-0
The loss against UWR was due to some really unlucky land issues. I lost game 1 on a mull to 6 with 1 Forest and 2 Birds. I never drew another land in the 8 turns I lasted, and both Birds got bolted. Then in Game 3 I flooded out super hard and couldn't find any threats.
The deck is still really solid though. I'm thinking about trying out Collected Company, so we'll see how much longer I stick with this. I just tend to get bored of decks after awhile.
Grabbed the deck on MTGO for practice before the GP and ran a daily:
Round 1 vs Merfolk
game 1 - kept super lose and got overrun. kept 5 lands + loxodon + liege on the draw in the dark. drew two thoughtseizes but he had enough threats out before I could even try to stabilize.
game 2 - I got spreading seas'd turn 2 and drew my 2 colorless lands so I was stuck on one or two colored mana for too long w/ multiple rhinos in hand. he stalled but had enough gas to get there w/ bouncing masters and a topdecked lord.
Round 2 vs Burn
game 1 - mull to 6. he had a really solid draw and i couldn't stabilize. had to shock twice and I think that lost it for me.
game 2 - he kept 1 land and I had a few removal spells and stabilized pretty easily
game 3 - I kept wildwood + township. stuck on 3 land after i kind of stabilized when he had 2 eidolons in play and 8 life. unfortunately I was at 10 and couldn't cast anything either, and sat with a rhino in hand staring at me as I died on 3 land.
Round 3 vs Assault Loam
game 1 - opponent mulled to six and I had TS into sculler. he didn't do much and sculler + loxodon beat him down.
game 2 - opponent mulled to six again and I kept a 2-lander on the draw with a scooze. unfortunately he took it with IoK. opponent was then stuck on 1 land until turn 6. sculler turn 4 saw a hand of anger-loam-loam-assault so I just took anger and beat him down.
Round 4 vs ??? - opponent no-showed.
So I didn't finish in prizes but I felt game 1 of round 1 I punted by keeping that hand, game 2 was super close, and game 3 of round 2 was also super close. So with slightly better draws I think I win at least one of those matches.

Yeah, the second game vs Merfolk was particularly brutal draw-wise. I'm going to play quite a few more and hopefully that sort of stuff will offset. I also probably didn't play it particularly well being my first time so that should improve as well.

Went 2-2 in another daily. I don't really see how you're getting 95+% winrates in every matchup because that's definitely not accounting for variance between the occasional screw/flood and just nut draws by the opponent.
Round 1 vs Jund Burn/Combo
Game 1 - I was on the play. Instead of burn spells he seemed to have Streeth Wraith, Assault Strobe and Become Immense. So a weird sort of combo-burn.
Game 2 - Plays two goblin guides and has a rancor on turn 2. No bueno. I drew a Smiter to play on turn 3 but played the wrong land and scooped.
Game 3 - He took my Decay with a TS and dropped a Rancor'd Death's Shadow. Luckily he went to 5 so I played my topdecked Rhino and had a 2/2 Elemental Token that got through when he had no burn left for it.
Round 2 vs Zoo
Game 1 - Mulled to 5. http://puu.sh/hEe98/2529c0dc48.jpg into no lands.
Game 2 - Get stuck on two land and overrun by 1-drops. Drew a third land on turn 4 but I was just already too far behind even with Path and 2x Decay in hand. My next card on the top was EE.
Round 3 vs Junk
Game 1 - Opponent stumbled on land but I think I played too greedy and got punished when he just got a bunch of 6/7 Goyfs and Rhinos out. One turn I played hoping he'd uptick Lili again at 2 loyalty and he sacced and I think that was where I lost.
Game 2 - Dropped a turn 2 scooze and killed his turn 2 goyf. Opponent scooped on turn 4.
Game 3 - Zero land so I mulled to 6. Opponent stumbled on land a little and I punished him, getting to drop a rhino turn 3 because of a path on my turn 2 voice. Rhino into Smiter into Liege was too much and a topdeck Golgari Charm after he cast and flashed back Souls was the winner.
Round 4 vs Grixis Delver
Game 1 - Zero land again so another mull to 6. Ended up keeping this - http://puu.sh/hEiy7/7d8209c60a.jpg.
Game 2 - EE on 0 and a few fatties stonewalled his 3 pyros. He scooped facing lethal with 2:40 left on his clock.
Game 3 - Opponent has less than 3 minutes on clock and I draw 7 lands while he has a perfect Pyro tempo opening and I just get overrun. He just had every answer and turn 3 smiter got terminated, then my turn 4 voice+scooze play got snare+snap+snared.
Emracool, your deck is really good. I took it into a modern tournament today. First time I used it against real opponent, not among friends. The report is the following:
Round 1 vs RG Zoo 2-1
Game 1: He got his creatures and pump spells, while I got stuck in two lands (both godless shire) with a hand full of abrupt decays, loxodon smiters and company.
Game 2: I got removal for his early threats, and then in the late game I draw an explosives, whipped his board and he ran out of gas while I got the Vault of the Archangel engine working with a couple of wilt-leaf and a rhino.
Game 3: Got a Inquisition, saw a slow hand, then turn 2 Voice, turn 3 Smiter, turn 4 rhino, turn 5 wilt-leaf. Well, you can guess the result.
Round 2 vs artifact Storm 2-1
Game 1: Got his combo on turn 4, I was unable to stop him. My hand was all creatures.
Game 2: He mulligan to 5. Turn 1, Inquisition, took his mox opal, his only mana source in that hand. Then, a couple of voices with liege got the game for me before he played the second-third mana source.
Game 3: Turn 1 inquisition, took a counterspell, then turn 2 stony silence with explosives. A couple of turns later he got the engine to draw the deck, but when he finally drew grapeshot, he remembered the existence of stony silence. He needed the mox opals to generate the mana to pay for it. That was game.
Round 3 vs Affinity 0-2
Game 1: He got an explosive fast hand, and I drew no action.
Game 2: Mulligan to 6, keep the hand because I saw 2 lands a couple of cmc3 creatures. I stuck on two lands until he killed me.
I side boarded the same way Emracool mentioned on his sideboarding post.
Round 4 vs Grixis Delver 2-1
Game 1: He mulligan to 5 and just kept drawing lands. I got a couple of Voices and that won me the game.
Game 2: On this game I side boarded wrong because I thought he was playing a control version (I didn't see anything on the first game). Also, I drew 10 lands and fetched 4 more from the 23 lands of the deck. It was an easy game for him.
Game 3: I sideboarded knowing what I was against to. Got a couple of abrupt decays and a scullers on the starting hand. Then, I started to draw smiters, voices and lieges. At the end Vault of the Archangel won me the game. I was winning too much life per turn and he only had triple snapcaster on the board while delved almost everything for a Tasigur that was killed by a deathtouch lifelink spirit token.
For being the first time running the deck, I feel that sometimes I sideboarded in a wrong way or made bad plays when I had to choose a card for thoughtseize or inquisition, or killing stuff with abrupt decay and path to exile. But at the end, I really like this list.
Hmm, I boarded differently vs Delver and I wonder how Emracool does it. I did:
-4 TS
-2 IoK
-4 Sculler
+2 Charm
+2 Nature's Claim
+3 EE
+3 Scooze
But my opponent also showed me Electrolyze (so I left out Souls) and Blood Moon (so I brought in Claim). EE won me game 2 because set to zero it hits all the Pyro tokens and flipped Delver.

Nice job you guys ! I play against zoo (naya and tribal) and grixis delver the most frequently in testing right now. They both in my experience are insane for me.
I put in 2 Scooze because they seriously rely on their graveyard, 3 lingering souls because they are tough for delver to push damage through, 2 Golgari Charms because of the minus one ability; Its a huge blowout a lot of the time and in a pinch blood moon (which should he played around anyway), and 3 Engineered Explosives because it on zeroh hits a flipped delver and tokens.I take out all of our discard because we want as many threats as possible and we only lose tidehollow as a threat. Plus our threats are flat out better and more efficient and we land one every turn as well as have a ton of answers with the threats they put out. Its to the point where the zoo players and delver players in my area hate playing against me in testing and tournament. One of the players even has a 12 card sideboard just for me and I still beat him lol.Iit takes practice and evidently a bit more luck then you guys are getting here.I have played the matchup so many times. What happens here that we play a threat of turn
Im on mobile so it won't let me scroll down and edit I hate this phone... anyway, you land a threat better then the ones they put out every turn and they dont run enough answers so they get outclassed. We dont need natures claim decay and charm hit blood moon anyway and even engineered explosives does I had a sweet play recently against twin when he played a blood moon when I had a basic forest and plains out. I engineered for three to blow it and his clique up and won next turn. Play around it and you win.
Affinity requires tight play but its really favorable for us. 12 cards of sideboarding against them is almost overkill it seems but it isnt lol.
I've honestly not been keeping notes b/c I've been recording.
vs Junk I got blown out Jacob Wilson-style where I wanted to wait until his turn to Charm and got blasted by ZP. He was also drawing gas and I was drawing lands and Decays vs his Rhinos.
Living End he just great opening hands both games he won. Game 3 I had a turn 2 Ooze that got Beast'd immediately. The rest of the game just played out poorly for me, he just kept cycling and I couldn't apply much pressure. I may have punted but I'd have to watch the game again.
Final Report:
1-2 vs Junk
1-2 vs Living End
2-1 vs Esper Control
2-1 vs Collected Company Combo
@Boer If you are playing against Delver and burn, I would play Chalice of the Void over Relic. I have tried em both, they both work, but Chalice shuts off draw engines.
i'm going to GP Providence next month to do the 2 modern side events they have. i don't play standard so i'll be playing there. i hope to get some extra time in. my list is emracool's list. i have 2 dromoka's commands in there but i'm thinking of putting it back to +1 tidehollow sculler and +1 path.
