I dont think the black splash is worth for 2 plague stinger and 2 abrupt decay... spellskite is way better than stinger with all the removals running around(GDShadows and jeskai).
Here's my list so far : Creatures (14)
4xBlighted Agent
4xGlistener Elf
4xNoble Hierarch
2xSpellskite
Sorceries (2)
2xDistortion Strike
Instants (25)
1xApostle's Blessing
3xBecome Immense
4xBlossoming Defense
4xMight of Old Krosa
3xMutagenic Growth
4xOpt
1xPeek
2xSpell Pierce
3xVines of Vastwood
Land (19)
2xBreeding Pool
3xForest
4xInkmoth Nexus
2xMisty Rainforest
2xPendelhaven
2xVerdant Catacombs
2xWindswept Heath
2xWooded Foothills
I've completly destroyed Eldra Tron (2-1 before side boarding and 4-2 post side boarding), we are to fast for them and if you keep attention on Walking Ballista or Chalice of the void, you should win (Chalice is definitivly not game over, it's hard but I've won some game with Chalice at 1).
Against Affinity, I've won 2-0 before side boarding then 2-3 post side boarding (Ghirapur Aether Grid and/or Walking Ballista is pretty hard when it sticks the board).
I've played against Skred too, a T2 Blood Moon without fetch for basic forest and/or Spellpierce hits but after that, the match up is favorable for us.
Opt is inscredibly good, it helps to filter and draw some needed solutions.
I've never sided in Shapers' Sanctuary so I don't have any opinion about it, I think we should play it against heavy removals'decks like BGx, Jeskaï Control or even Burn (Searing Blaze, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Helix, Grim Lavamancer, Rift BOlt, Path to Exile)

yeah the mana is to hard with the black splash, you would think it works fine looking at all the 3 and 4 colour decks in modern but our mana requirements are surprisingly tight
for me Opt has been a mixed bag, I'm noticing if i have a noble hierarch start opt becomes much better as you can use the mana advantage to protect and search, but without her if often just sits in my hand as i would rather leave up protection than blindly search, meaning i often have to cast it as a sorcery. but as the game goes long and my hand size drops it gets better again digging you into what you need, i do seem to be getting more become immense kills again though which is super nice
In my experience, if you want a card for lingering souls I suggest you to play another distortion strike in your SB. Is great vs spirit tokens while also being great vs any creature deck(merfolk, collected company decks...)
Actually that was the last League I ran with Opt - I came to the conclusion that it wasn't as good as Serum Visions. Serum Visions is able to serve the role of a pseudo threat in your opener as it digs 3 cards deep, whereas I don't feel you can keep a hand with no threats and an Opt.
Shaper's however is the real deal, easily replacing the Finks/Goyf/whatever you were playing in that slot. While Shaper's doesn't serve the exact same role the other cards did, its still a vast upgrade. DS and different variants of U/W/R have a hard time beating the card, and if you add in a Spellskite you can go nutz! Its still decent against B/G/x variants despite the presence of Liliana, but I think its a trap against Burn. Still, going from 2 or 3 mana sideboard cards to 1 mana cards is terrific!
I am very close to cutting the Dismember for another BoP, as I'm simply not that interested in seeing the Dismember anymore. Apart from the E-Tron matchup, I don't like the card in Infect these days. Its also possible that the deck should play even more protection spells to facilitate Shaper's, but I haven't tested that yet.
congratulations! have you already tried Tezzeret's Gambit like Tom Ross did in one of his recent lists? Looks a little bit cute at first sight but seems great vs decks like UW where you care about card advantage or vs Tron, for example in order to increase counters on Chalice. ALso you are adding the obvious 1 infect counter on your opponent
To be honest, I think it looks a little too cute. Its techy and all, but I dont wan't to put a Divination in my deck. I don't even want Dissenter's in the main, as I firmly believe the deck is strong enough to play it's own game in G1. Kill them fast is still the best road to victory G1. I am however not completely satisfied with 4x Groundswell, as the card is a bit clunky and the absence of Lightning Bolt means the card doesn't serve a role as protection spell. I still haven't cracked the code as to a possible replacement. 4x Blossoming seems like overkill, but perhaps a 3/3 split could do the work?
I still have a Carrion Call in my sideboard. Still seems good in grindy match-ups. Has anyone considered or tried Search for Azcanta? I may give it a shot this weekend.

Little angel, go away come again some other day the Devil has my ear today I'll never hear a word you say. He promised I would find a little solace and some peace of mind. Whatever. just as long as I don't feel so desperate and ravenous.
Took a look at the list that got 10th out of 538 this past weekend. A couple interesting things I noticed: it plays 2 Jace, Vryn's Prodigy; only 2 Blossoming Defense and no Apostle's Blessing mainboard; only 1 Distortion Strike main. Thoughts on this list? I haven't played with flipJace before so I'm really curious as to what people think of this card, its application in Infect, and so on. I'm a bit surprised there is so little evasion and protection - most lists run 2 Distortion Strikes and at least a few Apostle's Blessing, and certainly a full grip of Blossoming Defense. I suppose it wants to race G1 (with all the +4/+4 effects) and then go grindier post-SB with Spellskite and Shapers' Sanctuary. Anyone else see it that way, or differently?
So i ended up coming home from work on Monday and totally rebuilding u/g infect. And im feeling ok with it atm. Went 4/0 with it last night but im cautious because i want to jam more games with the current list.
I kept a very greedy hand with no infect creatures but some spell pierces and lands. I never saw a infect creature in game 1
Game 2 and 3 i wasn't a idiot and did what infect does and got there.
Round two was against a tron eldrazi variant. No chalice in the main. Think of it as more traditional tron with eldrazi creatures thrown in. I got up 2/0 too fast and i have interaction.
Round 3 was against slivers. I wasn't sure what he was on but had a idea it was slivers. I played inkmoth turn 1 and passed to find out my intuition was correct. I know how the deck plays so i decided it was a race agains't his clock. Got there game 1 easy. Game two he throws down a trinisphere on his turn 3 which slows me down enough that i can't edge out a win.
Game 3 im on the play but he gets down a trinisphere on his turn 3 again. I manage to pump my blighted agent a couple of times to get there.
Round 4 was against affinity. I own the deck so i know there nut draws can race me. I start to race game 1 and beat him on turn 3. Game two i had no infect creature in hand but a creeping corrosion 2x noble hierach's and two lands. This was acceptable since i could just wipe his entire board. He has a slower start but on turn 3 plays a master of etherium. Next tuen i draw a elf play the creeping corrosion and the elf. He kills the elf but now has no board presence. A turn later he drops another master and i had saved a viridian corrupter i had drew to kill it and start putting in the damage.
All in all its playing more protection with 4 blossoming defence 4 vines 2 spellskite 2 apostles blessing and 4 spell pierce in the mb. I feel as though i just need to run a lot of protection to make sure a infect creature sticks. I get more interaction with a bunch of decks by playing a playset of spell pierce in the mb too.
Ill test this again next week. Thoughts, comments on the decklist ?
Just considering picking up infect myself. I watched Zan Syed say that Edlrazi tron is a good matchup. I'm confused as to how that's a good matchup with 4 chalice main board. I guess they play low amounts of removal and don't have many flying blockers, so that makes it easier to alpha kill? Don't you almost just scoop to a chalice on one during game 1? And a chalice on one game 2 or 3 you hope to draw your 2 of Viridian corrupter? Maybe holding spell pierce up for it too?
How has been Infect doing for everything that has been playing it? I'm really happy to see that Infect has been gaining a bit of tournament winning status at the SCG Modern Open Cincinnati. I personally haven't been playing it, mainly because my local meta has been a lot of Burn and Jund.
I need some help here please. 1) Do you like Kitchen Finks in the sideboard, and how do you use them? Are they for blocking against Burn or for going the regular damage route against Shadow? They look out of place to me, but I have only played the legacy variant so far. 2) I´m also surprised to see people play Shapers´ Sanctuary, I think it looks terrible. You´re only up a card as soon as they kill your second creature, and even then, random cards vs. your on-board threats seems like a bad deal. Isn´t it better to use something that protects my creatures, instead of getting cards when I fail to do so? Can anyone explain if and how this card works?
Thanks for any help.

I played him ounce and he got countered. It allowed me to play a blighted agent the same turn.
He is another threat that must be answered.

Actually i prefer the current lists playing Jace, but also nice to see that a version with 4 Invisible Stalker in the board made it so far.
Come game two i would have access to 4x spell pierce 2x viridian corrupters and 1x creeping corrosion.
I would still be afraid of a chalice but i should have a good chance of seeing some of that hate.
