Against burn, I always felt 1 turn too slow. I've resolved Baloths (w life gain)and still lost the race. Pulse of murasa could be worth looking into to shore up that matchup.
As for affinity, it always boils down to how much SB hate you draw.
Perhaps Life Goes On could help ? We have STE that dies anyway.
This card is certainly going to be an all star vs. Burn. At worst, it counterspells a Boros Charm, but the upside is really huge and backbreaking for them.

If you don't mind to share what decks you went up against in those 15 matches ? 4 Forest seems kinda a lot when the usual list run 2 but then again you have more Mountains, I think. In the changes, what makes you drop Crumble to Dust in favour of Pithing Needle ?

Nicely done!
Your list is incredibly unique. Can you comment on a few of your unusual card choices:
- Maindeck Chalice
- Only 4 fetchlands (which are great with KHE)
- 4 Explore, 0 Farseek
- 4 Forest
- Krosan Grip
- Fracturing Gust (why this over something like Shatterstorm?)
I used to use fracturing gust as well over shatterstorm. It's just more useful in more matches than shatterstorm. If you survive a few turns against affinity with your removal and block sac with STE, it seals the deal. The life gain makes it darn near impossible for them to ever come back. And, it helps you in other matchups where you want to kill enchantments. Like Bogles and against Blue Moon it will kill a blood moon and the Pia and Koran Nalaar tokens.

I understand it's usefulness against something like Bogles, but I don't plan to sideboard for that matchup since it's so rare to see Online.
Against Affinity, you can Shatterstorm turn 3 or Gust turn 4. That extra turn can be a LOT of damage. Can you really recoup that much life compared to what you would lose in the extra turn?
GGG is not bad. And you should have more than enough removal to stay alive. Either you are using removal and doing a little ramp to cast on 4 or you SFT into ramp and cast on 3. In either scenario, it's more than good enough. I'm not saying it's the best thing against Affinity, but in combination with other stuff, it's good enough to beat Affinity. And the fact that it can be useful in other matchups as well, not just Affinity and the occasional fringe artifact deck make it well worth a slot in an open meta. I don't run it anymore since I don't need it in my meta and I needed to shore up my Grixis Shadow matchup.
Round 1 vs. GB Tron. Game 1 was quite a fight. He turn 4 Karn Liberated exiling my Valakut but I Bolt it afterwards. Still manage to build up with Titan and Prismatic Omen and win with them. In Game 2, I was a turn away to win with Prismatic Omen/Scapeshift when he top decked a Nature's Claim and later he found the final land for Ulamog. Game 3 was in my favour, I was able to ramp, he didn't interact, I baited him with Titan for him to activate his Oblivion Stone and tapped out, and won with Scapeshift. 2-1
Round 2 vs. Grixis Control. Hurtful match by far. Game 1 packed with heavy counter spells. STE met Spell Snare, Explore met Mana Leak and he won with Snap-Bolt and manlands. Game 2 was harsh, turn 1 fetchland met Surgical Extraction, then sacrificing STE met Snap-Surgical and later, Stomping Ground met Crumble to Dust. 0-2
Round 3 vs. Grixis Death's Shadow. He dropped his life to 5 in both games. Game 1 2nd turn Gurmag Angler and later Death's Shadow and Tasigur join the attacking force. Game 2 he had double Death's Shadow. I was surviving with 2 Obstinate Baloth back to back but that's about it. 0-2
I think 3 of a five mana sweeper specifically for matchups where you only really need spot removal and can't cast early enough to affect the matchups where you actually need a sweeper is way too much. If you are that worried about those creatures and you aren't in Jund colors, try beast within.
And I don't think mina and denn, wildborn is good. At 4 mana you probably won't have enough lands left in hand to drop 2, and if you had spent that mana casting a ramp spell or two instead, or disrupting your opponent, you could have either won sooner or given yourself an extra turn to win. As much as the second ability seems like it could be good late game against control or midrange, courser of Kruphix and tireless tracker are just better to have. They are cheaper and do more.
Also, I notice you are both relatively new so I would suggest using card tags. I know that a lot of people on this thread get lazy and don't tag the staples of the deck. But when discussing specific cards, especially new ones or weird tech options, just clicking the little card back image at the top of the typing box to get a card tag is incredibly useful for people reading your comments.

I think one of Fracturing Gust's strengths is that it can instant speed to get Inkmoth and more importantly, Blinkmoth Nexii. I would assume also that GGG would be somewhat tough to get unless you're really preparing for it, but the instant speed and life gain can make up for that. I have a friend who runs it as a 1 of in his Titan Shift SB. I personally don't agree, but he is having some success with it, at least for now.
Affinity is such a strong deck that often Shatterstorm leaves the possibility to lose still to Blinkmoth Nexii and Galvanic Blast. Fracturing Gust rarely allows that same possibility.

EDH BRGKresh the BloodbraidedBRG, A box of lands and ideas.
Modern: RG Titanshift. A deck made of cards too stupid for EDH.
Retired: Lots. More than I feel you should suffer through or I should type out.
crumble to dust was too slow against tron, pithing needling an e-map when they drop one on their first turn, or pithing needling a karn in anticipation of one the following turn seemed to do more work.
Fracturing Gust hits enchantments, won a game against boggles & affinity because of how dumb it is.
Krosan Grip Split second, and wanted more answers to those annoying blood moons.
With Heart Garden, it took the Farseek spot. I like Explore because worst case scenario it's a draw spell.
Maindeck Chalice & Anger of the Gods are just meta calls, enough stuff in the format that the cards work very nicely in more match up's than they do not.
Played against just about everything, the most rare match was probably against boggles, don't see that often. Played against Grixis Shadow a couple times, got lucky against 1 of them, the other was a regular back and forth and just won. Played against burn once, also got lucky there, they mana flooded one game & resolved 2 chalices in a post sideboard game. Still lost 1 game in the match against burn. Played against some tron, one of my 2 losses was against GB Tron, and I could have actually won the match but I threw a game 2 away because I'm still learning the deck, thank you chat for seeing what I did not 8-).
Hi all, relatively new to playing the deck (but played against it enough times to know what it's all about and how to beat it from the other side of the table) but I may sound stupid so here goes nothing...
In the current meta what's better in the main? Anger of the Gods or Sweltering Suns? I currently have 2 suns in the main and 2 anger in the side, my lack of experience and reasoning is for the ability to cycle against control and decks lacking creatures in game 1. Correct with if I'm wrong.
I've also seen some lists mainboarding 1-off Obstinate Baloth, is this something you'd recommend or just stupid?
Last question, I currently run neither in my list but is Chandra TOD or Prismatic Omen worth trying out? I understand the omen but am unsure on why Chandra fits (not saying she is bad, I am just inexperienced with the deck so I have no real knowledge)
Cheers

In my admittedly small amount of time playing the deck, Prismatic Omen has been excellent as a 2 of in MB. It allows you to scapeshift on 6 lands lethal and if you're under a hard control deck having all lands of your lands come as mountains is excellent. If there is a lot of enchantment hate in your meta then it might be one to avoid but with grixis shadow popping up a lot there doesn't seem to be.

I am running a R/G Titanshift deck that cut Khalni Heart Expedition and Prismatic Omen for other cards because of preference. Is it fair to cut down the fetches to 6 to add in another dual to up the mountain count to 14 instead of 13?
