I like having the added sideboard slots. As Gerry has mentioned, and I agree, that the matches the white adds to are already pretty close. I liked souls and the occasional use of ranger, but I don't miss them either. I like the added room in my sb for problem matches like bant eldrazi.
Guess I'm thinking because the last few top 32 lists and the ones streamers have been playing, that most people have dropped the white. I'm running pulse and terminate in the sb.
Can I see your sb list? I can't find room for terminate but I've always run a pulse in the side.

It's not a question of whether or not it's easy, it's if it's worth it. Also, what lists play 3 veil?
With that said, I'm honestly considering dropping the terminate for a second pulse. Sure, it's another 3 drop, but there's plenty of matchups where K. Command isn't that great and pulse can take that slot in the mb games 2 and 3 respectfully. Just thoughts as it hits the same dudes as pulse, but more than just dudes.

I like 2 pulse in the sideboard. It deals with a lot of problem cards like worship and drowner, and has some nice splash utility against multiples of things. My sideboard looks like this:
I like it so far. What could I potentially drop for the other pulse? I think the 4th push and 2 surgicals are decent enough to keep around so it's tricky.

This may be out of place but it has a lot to do with the deck. I'm starting to really enjoy playing DSJ because the first week or so of trying to play it was pretty brutal. I'm going to start jamming more games over the coming week since I have time off. I'm also going to track my matchups and results so I can get some good data. Getting a good number of games with a faster deck like DSJ isn't as rough because I can close games quicker I feel like.
And thats one reason why I think white is actually far off a not-needed colour. It allows us to not let spot removal be too good against us. I feel like the regular Jund version has this problem sometimes in the right matchups.
If you really need to grind but don't want to run the white splash, a couple copies of Pia and Kiran Nalaar would probably make a difference. I think that we need to be very conservative about running 4-drops (I would maybe run 2 and no other 4-drop in the 75, but that still feels like it's pushing it), but P&K is definitely not a trivial thing to deal with, and most decks probably won't bring in things like Izzet Staticaster if they notice you're not on the white splash. I've also been trying to solve the U/x/x matchup, and have been debating just being Jund in the main deck (I love having the second overgrown tomb), but then running a Godless Shrine in the SB alongside 3 Souls and a Ranger of Eos. In playing against the deck, I make sure to keep an eye out for Godless Shrine in game 1 to inform how I need to sideboard, so I think there's some value in concealing that information. Then again, sideboard slots in Modern are very limited, so there's a good chance that the benefit just doesn't outweigh the drawback.
I've finally sleeved the deck up in paper (Tarfire is a $3 card, lord have mercy) and it's fairly common at my shop, so I'm really looking to get an edge in the mirror, in particular. Having played against the deck a few more times with Abzan over the weekend, I'm even more convinced that DS Jund should be siding out it's discard in the B/G/x mirror, but that means I need to have a decent amount of sideboard cards that I'm willing to bring in. Have people been finding the standard 2 Ancient Grudge in the sideboard necessary? With 2-3 Tarfire, 3 Fatal Push, and 2-3 K-Command in the main, I feel like we shouldn't need much more to solidify that matchup in games 2/3. Most sideboards are able to bring in a sweeper (K-Return or Anger), 1-2 Liliana, the Last Hope, an additional Fatal Push, and at least one Ancient Grudge, so is the second one really pulling that much extra weight? It seems even less necessary in lists splashing white, because Lingering Souls is such a beating for Affinity to get through.
I dropped Grudge completely a few days ago, I think its not that important, I also think running 2 is overkill unless you expect a big amount of affinity. 1 is definitely enough, regardless of version, in white you have souls and in jund you have extra LtLH to deal with affinity. Therefore I would run 1 if I have the space and am concerned with affinity, and no copy in most other cases right now.
That was my feeling Delver, I've only ever run 1 in traditional Jund and haven't really had a problem. Also, in the vein of grindy cards immune to removal...Sprouting Thrinax. Jund beats removal heavy decks primarily by taxing their removal with Kitchen Finks. Since we don't want to run it for obvious reasons, Thrinax seems like a reasonable option in a pure Jund list that is even harder to fully removal from the field. I might be more inclined to run Thrinax over Pia and Kiran for this slot.
Edit- I think I do still want one Ancient Grudge for Lantern/Tron.
Sprouting Thrinax seems cute, don't know its worth the slot though, I think the tokens lacking evasion is making the card quite lackluster in the eldrazi and GWx Company matchups. I am more concerned about Bant Eldrazi than those removal heavy decks to include Thrinax. However, like you said, its only really possible to include in regular Jund version.
Do you bring in Lingering Souls for those matchups? I would think that against both we really just want more removal, I don't think either of those matchups are removal-heavy enough for Thrinax. I'd be looking to bring him in for the B/G/x mirror and against U/x/x.
I would bring in Souls for Bant Eldrazi I think. For Eldrazi Tron not really. Yeah, we want to maximize removal, but often there is not much to bring in besides Mealstrom Pulse and potential Terminates.

I like 2 pulse in the sideboard. It deals with a lot of problem cards like worship and drowner, and has some nice splash utility against multiples of things. My sideboard looks like this:
1x fatal push
1x anger of the gods
1x nihil spellbomb
2x surgical extraction
2x ancient grudge
2x liliana, the last hope
2x collective brutality
3x fulminator mage
I like it so far. What could I potentially drop for the other pulse? I think the 4th push and 2 surgicals are decent enough to keep around so it's tricky.

Playing Lingering Souls it is for me.

Varolz seems spicy as a 1 of in the 75. He does scavenge 18 counters onto it against RUG scapeshift.
