I think I'm going to stream this afternoon if anyone is interested in checking that out. Aiming to get the trophy lead!
I had no idea you streamed, would be evry interested in checking it out! I am also wondering whether the tweaks to your list (like cutting a Jace for a Cryptic, a land for a Supreme Will, and messing with the manabase) has been serving you well.
Damn, I missed it. You gonna post the footage somewhere?
I'm on a huge slide right now after that 5-0 and have lost a crapload of matches in a row, it just seems like we get too slow of a start all the damn time and it's too hard to recover. I'm like 15 in a row losses and 20 plus in the day, so disheartening.
To report in, I hunkered down the tix and made the switch to uw last night ended up 4-1.
Beat affinity, burn then lost of burn after a poor keep and firing off blessed alliance when I thought he had only 1 mana.... I know I'm a genius!
Then beat affinity again and was matched vs calebd on bw pox which we destroyed g1 g2 was t2/3 pox into lilli into Gideon 3 after weathering some walkers and then a G3 that seen us both land screwed after a pox with him saving flagstones while I had a rip out.
I started a new league and match 1 saw us low on time and lost to a time out about 10 seconds before I could activate the colonnade to swing with the full team... matchup feels pretty solid overall.
I also Picked up a loss to abzan Druid combo, losing both games to eventual combo after hitting land clumps g1 involved serum bottom stuff 3 times as I bottom then drew the serum off the serum. G2 he had early cox after I felt with the first couple dudes.
Hey guys, I have an FNM report from yesterday, but I was too tired to type it up at midnight. I went 3-1, beating some janky mono W deck that was more than 60 cards and didn't have sleeves on it, U/B Mill, Enchantment Prison, and lost in Round 4 to Merfolk.
I didn't see any Crabs. He's a good player, but he said that he threw it together with what he owned. I asked the Merfolk player after the match, and he said that even though Seas hit Mutavault, it wasn't worth keeping in. I tend to agree, as we have 4 GQ/TecEdge
Against mill You just need patience. Dont just fetch w/o thinking archive traps are annoying. They usually play few creatures so path and supreme veredict plan is just fine. G1 is harder, g2 bring dispel Big elsp. Leyline is just ohko. Mill doesnt have good late anyways so we
Tlhunter, I've liked the changes because I think they've made the deck a little more versatile. It was really fun to stream yesterday, only had time for 5 matches but managed to turn it into a trophy! The last game in particular was pretty sweet. I didn't save my first stream (technological growing pains) but yesterday's should be on twitch and I'm going to start streaming semi-regularly at least until I go back to school.

Okay, I may try them. Thanks man, I really enjoyed your stream!

Thanks man, in my frustration with my losing streak I took a deep look at your land spread and I swapped to it too, I just won a match against Skred red because I had enough basics out, and plus it helps in the mirror. I also went back to Supreme Will, I like the counter graduation from Leak to SW to Cryptic a whole lot.
I'm learning much much more to almost never tap down unless I have to and the basics are helping. I often forget that having mana open keeps the other side a lot of times from pulling the trigger cause they think I have a counter (even if I don't!)
4-1 last night, 2-0 as we speak but feeling a whole lot better about the deck.
Borzi, the best ways to help that matchup are wrath effects and ways to shut down Coco. If you expect to see Counters Company decks a lot, I might to with a fourth Verdict maindeck and 1-2 Cages in the sideboard. Spell Snare would also help, although that card is pretty weak against a lot of the rest of the meta. And huge thanks to the people that said they liked my stream! Planning on going again tomorrow afternoon
Hey guys, I don't know if it's of any significance, but I've on UW for the past month or so, and I've gone 3-1 twice, and 3-0 and split first the couple times I played FNM. Here's my list:
Any criticisms? A few choices I'll explain -- I don't like the Wall of Omens, especially since I do play the 4th Verdict, and I play mainboard Alliances to open up board space and to help G1 against aggro, Shadow, and Eldrazi. I also decided not to play Stony Silence in the board because we already have great game against Affinity (especially with the Spheres), and I don't see a lot of Lantern these days.
@Annihilator - I'm curious on the decision to run the second sphere in the sideboard? Seems odd to put such a broad answer in the SB instead of the main.
The only other comment I have is that I find it interesting that you cut justify a 4th verdict by cutting walls. I find the Wall enables the Verdict so well. Could you elaborate on your thinking there a little?
