How important is Engineered Explosives? I am buying into the deck and I'm at the limit of my budget with everything but EE. I could get them instead of Caverns but Caverns seem really important since my meta has a bunch of Jeskai Control. Would ratchet bomb be a good budget replacement or is it too slow?
Definitely caverns over EE. Ratchet is the only like for like replacement but def needs a few turns..
I've been thinking about what cards we can add as outs to topdeck wars (e.g. the mirror) and against blood moon. Though we're generally favored in those situations due to the inherent power level of our cards, it's often hard to recover against card advantage engines, and we don't have a good way to stall during the turns we brick on lands and don't have drowner/displacer up. I think Dark Confidant is a trump card for the Jund vs Bant matchup, and our only out in that situation is to draw removal. Also, the only time I've seen this deck lose to Jeskai is versions with mainboard Ancestral vision.
Things I've thought of or seen are:
Batterskull. Very hard to answer cleanly, is a viable stirrings target, gives us lifegain, is an out against bloodmoon. Bad in mirror, probably.
Secure the wastes. Saw play as a 1-of in GP Indy. Good flood insurance, hard to answer with spot removal, can win the game on the spot in late game. Has early-game applicability and can act as a fog against decks like zoo. Can't be searched with stirrings.
Westvale abbey. Flood insurance, can be searched for with stirrings, mirror breaker. In a deck with secure the wastes, can win on the spot. Ulting it is win-more (only realistic when you already have displacer/drowner).
Moorland haunt. Hard to answer with spot removal, good at gumming up the board, can be searched for with stirrings, mirror breaker. Probably not worth the utility of GQ or consistency of a 3rd yavimaya coast.
Eternal witness. Has been discussed. CA engine, but the body it's attached to is basically useless.
Mulldrifter. Has been discussed. A little win-more since it's only exceptional when you already have displacer. But the possibility of a displacer activation on an evoked drifter as draw 4, with the drifter sticking on the battlefield because it's been flickered, seems like gross value.

Thoughts?
I love swagtusk, provide CA (need two removal), lifegain, strong body and blinkable by dislacer (it's insane). I love this card vs mirror, midrange and aggro
I think this might be useful for many people. Thanks.
Edit:On the previous topic: For the mirror i think Elspeth is our best bet, unless you're going full lock with Worship.
Against Blood Moon, fetch basics, pray that your op doesn't kill you before and land some Drowners. Dorks help.
Right now i'm taking Eternal Witness to WCQ from the bench.
I have a few questions about certain cards to use in the Bant Eldrazi deck. First off what is the main target/priority of having Natural State in the sb? Second off what have people thought of using Westvale Abbey? I have been thinking of trying in the deck but would like some other opinions on using this card in the deck as no one in my LGS have built Bant Eldrazi.

Natural state kills bloodmoon, bridge, and any other annoying arts or enchants that come up, all puropous low cmc hate

I have 2 questions regarding mulling/keeping and against Titanshift or RG Breach.
Q1: What are some criteria you guys use to determine whether a hand should be kept or mulled? Do you make sure you have at least a dork, a ramp spell, either TKS or Reality Smasher or Eldrazi Temple?
Q2: I noticed this matchup can be challenging for Bant Eldrazi. Typically I will board in Grafdigger to lock Summoner's Pact, Blessed Alliance for conditional removal and life gain, Path to Exile to remove the titan and Negate/Stubborn Denial/Dispel against Through the Breach and Summoner's Pact. What sort of sideboard do you guys bring in to help against Titanshift or RG Breach?

Q1: anything with a T2 TKS is good.
Q2: G Cage DOES NOT stop Pact. i would usually board in 3x Stubborn Denial, 1x Spellskite. Remove 1x Displacer and 2x Drowner, 1x EE.
Hi
I play the two deck (rg breach and bant eldrazi) so i will try to answer you
Grafdigger cage is ok for pact, counter are very powerful vs rg breach/shift. I don't think blessed alliance is needed, the deck doesn't play a lot of creature, keep youe 4 path but don't add removal spells.
I play worship in my sb of bant eldrazi that is very nice vs valakut deck. Worldbreaker is already ok to exile his lands.
1. Keep- Noble as an accelerant, stirrings for colorless land, excellent curve with reshaper tks smasher.
2. Marginal keep- no accelerant but stirrings can find temple/colorless land. Early plays with path/EE
3. Keep. Fetch on T1 leaving mana open for path. T2 displacer. Likely to draw gas with Ample mana available
4. Mull. T3 smasher looks tempting but no plays until then is dangerous
So after the world's it looks like we have 2-3 flex spots with dismember/ee taking up the slots as extra removal in place of spellskite and Skyspawner.
Was doing some research and came across beast within. What do ppl think abt this? Versatile and shouldnt care about the token too much, displacer could also take care of it easily. Thoughts? Or is the 3cmc just too much/slow?
Hi. Finally decided to build the deck, since I already owned 90% of the cards. While checking the sideboard, found few to no lists running Relic of Progenitus. Since cage's price has gone sky high, I was wondering if relic is just far worse or if it's meta dependent.
Relic is more limited because it only focuses on the graveyard. Nahiri, Chord of Calling, and Collected Company are shut off by Grafdigger's Cage but aren't affected by Relic.
If your local meta is light on Abzan CoCo, Elves, and Jeskai Nahiri, then you'd probably be alright with Relic. I'm sure there are other similar matchups to consider, but I feel like those are the most relevant.

My only lose was to a very unique burn in round 4. Round 1 was a mono green stompyish deck that went off into a field of 2 drowners, a displacer and 9 mana....opps. Rounds 2 and 3 were a non naheri jeski control and an artifact jeski ascendancy combo. Round 5 was grixis ultimatum deck.
I was one turn from taking game 1 against burn when he dropped an ensnaring bridge and stopped me cold. game 2 i had nothing. is burn just a bad matchup or am i missing something.
As an aside, I am working on the caverns and ees, money is the issue there.

have been testing beast within in the sideboard for spot enchantment and walker/creature removal, did not like it in the main however. the 3cmc slot pretty much has to get a creature out game 1.
another thing i've been testing in the main is 3x reality smasher and 1x thragtusk instead of 4x smasher, it's too early to tell if it's a good move but i am optimistic.
took out eternal witness, the double green is tough and the impact early is not there.
another thing i'm running in the main is 2x warping wail. very good against fast decks infect burn and affinity, can help ramp with a scion if needed and can put out living end or other sorceries when needed, have found it flexible and fast enough for game 1.
concur with jbhmickey, grafdiggers is def the way to go, relic has been too narrow for me even without factoring in the impact on coco and chord. instead of 3x cage my sideboard has 2x cage + 1x rip however.

Yes, this is true. There are several pauper decks that do this as a base plan.
