Writing here to get some advices from experts from you. I'm playing magic and this deck from just few months ago. Last night I finally got my Arid Mesa playset (so happy). I had much fun with this deck and I love it, but I would like to know how could improve it.
I post below my current list and I would like to ask:
1) What about the number of fetchland? 11-12 are too many? And with that number of fetchland what about to add Become Immense. Is it too zoo-like card?
2) Sideboard options: should I replace the Shard volley with 2 extra Destructive revelry?
3) What about to remove skullcrack from the main deck (I think I have 4x Atarka's Command that do the same) and add 2 extra Lightning helix?
4) When I'm going to sideboarding I'm always in difficult to choose wich card should I replace in the main deck. Is there any general rule for burn sideboarding against the most frequent archetypes?
In my meta I play against many decks: Living End, Grixis/Esper Control, Abzan Company, Tron, Affinity, Jund, Eldrazi and so on... It's a varied and fun metagame in my store and I'm happy with that, but sideboard is not easy.
Naya Burn - Eidolon = Bad
Mono Red + Eidolon = Decent
Naya isn't an option in the near future
What do you think betweeh these two?
Monored with eidolons, but without fetches
or
Boros with 4 arid mesa, but without eidolon?
I just got a playset of Eidolon's as well as upping my Fetchlands to a total of 8. And while the Fetchlands really help the deck, the overall impact of Eidolon is just that much greater IMHO.
Not sure why Naya is not an option in the near future? I'm guessing you mean for yourself.
My point is that Eidolons are more important than fetches. Also, fetches are the most expensive part of the Splash. I'd be picking up Khans fetches now if I were you, but only after Eidolon.
You can always replace Mesa with Windswept Heath. I know it is not the best because it can't fetch basics but it with fetch Stomping Ground and Sacred Foundry for you.
Mesa is so expensive that is why I went with Windswept for now.
I am saving up for the Mesa.

Yeah, I did mean for myself.
Thanks for all the replies. So I will buy the eidolons next and then the fetches.
How do you guys beat a turn 0 leyline of sanctity with monored? I only could beat it once with a guide and a swiftspear. I burnt myself to trigger prowess on the swiftspear. Opponent had nothing good besides leyline.
Red doesn't get Enchantment destruction, so you're stuck with burning the opponent's creatures, yourself, or your own creatures. Note that Searing Blaze doesn't get around Leyline; you have to have two legal targets (creature and player) to cast the spell.

Eidolon is the reason Burn became so much stronger a few years ago, and is probably the best creature in the deck. Regardless of what you play, it should have 4 Eidolon of the Great Revel. If you play mono-R, the reason to play fetches is to fuel Grim Lavamancer and turn on Searing Blaze. If you aren't playing those, you don't need any fetches (paying 1 life for "deck thinning" hurts you more than it helps you). If you splash a color, you need to play enough fetches to consistently hit that color. On Boros, I'd play at least 8 red fetches and 4 Sacred Foundry to give me 12 white sources.
It is a mistake to play either without Eidolon. Eidolon hurts you, but it also hurts your opponent and makes their removal and counters painful. You do have to play it smart and not trap yourself under Eidolon, which takes some learning.

Not for this deck. A 3-drop that doesn't deal any damage on its own? Ship that on down to the Storm players and see if they can wring any utility out of it.

Once you get your fetches you then get a couple either Stomping Grounds or Sacred Foundries that way you can either run Wear//Tear or Destructive Revelry in the sideboard. Revelry is better, but Wear//Tear allows you to later transition into Boros Burn.

Your only hope is creature damage, really. Weakness to enchantments is a huge weakness for mono-R. Your next upgrade after Eidolons should be to go either white or green with fetches and get Wear//Tear or Destructive Revelry.
Without fetches, you might play Searing Blood instead of Searing Blaze and it can get around Leyline if the creature dies.

eidolon is a keycard. you can temporarily skip on the fetches and get something to replace grim lavamancer.
My point is that Eidolons are more important than fetches. Also, fetches are the most expensive part of the Splash. I'd be picking up Khans fetches now if I were you, but only after Eidolon.

I already said a page ago that Temper was already Modern, meaning it's already not good enough. My Sonic Seizure comment was a joke.
same. Helps to have spark elemental

This has no place in a Burn deck.

Might see play in Jund in the Huntmaster slot, but it's not a Burn card.

Totally has no place in any Burn Deck.
