My meta is Control heavy, this is why I am doing it!
Hmm I'm running 4 Vines + 3 Blossoming + 1 Apostle's. Maybe I'll try fit it the last Blossom. Would probably mean dropping a Might of Old Krosa though and I'm not sure it's worth it.
IF there is anything, it's Hope of Ghirapur. Forcing them to wait till you untap before they can throw removal at you could be game changing, at worst you dodge sweepers / Lili / whatever, and give your guys Inkmoth survivability. At best, you get a free untap and have protection ready from the jump. In a lot of matches it may have the effect of being similar to a 1 mana spellskite, who if they don't remove they won't be able to remove your threat. It's also castable off Inkmoth which is nice. Whether or not it ends up working well enough is another question - it's difficult to envision how it plays, but if it ends up eating a removal piece each game or locking my opponent down for a turn, then its probably kinda alright. I'll be getting a set and testing them, but it's really just a consideration. As the other guy said, there is definitely nothing else, Hope is a POSSIBILITY tho.
Your answer doesn't make sense to me, sorry. I need something more specific?
I know Infect runs 8/9 Fetches, so why no basic Island to fetch off Misty Rainforest for example?
I'm thinking about threats like Path to Exile, Blood Moon or Ghost Quarter...
PS: Note that Stonewood Invocation is the maybe sb 16th card. You would need to cut something to fit that in.
PS2: Sideboard is for my meta. I have barely ever played vs Affinity and I have never faced a Spellskite in game-1, because the one off Elves player left and Dredge made all of the Abzan Company players switch deck xD(Elves and Abzan Coco players tilted by the number of Grafdigger Cage).
My list is excellent and still is too fast vs uninteractive decks, while having as much of a chance as we can have vs URx/BGx matchups. Four times 4-0 over the last seven FNM's, one 3-1, one 2-2 and one bad night where I faced off Burn, Grixis Control, Grixis Delver, Jund, Grixis Delver in that order.
4 Might Of Old Krosa is non negotiable in this kind of build, because the only slight "problem" with the list is that we need 1-2 more pump spells. I am using the BARE MINIMUM of pump spells to be as much of a Bogles deck as we can be. You should try that, the list rocks and has won me many games vs Jeskai, Grixis, Jund, Junk, etc.
This is for a strictly interactive/fair meta though. If your meta is full on Tron or combos or Affinity etc, I would cut 2 Blossoming Defence for 2 Groundswell. But in an open meta, I would just play that. Or with the Fatal Push coming up, I predict this is the list we want to present nowadays.
This looks like a great list for the upcoming meta. If company gets popular again I imagine you'll have to squeeze in a twisted image in the main board.
I'm thinking anything sorcery speed is effectively a blank, but also that we don't really have any good instant card draw options. We might just have to fall back to Serum Visions?

Hey all... I'm retired, not dead. Check out what I'm doing these days (and beg me to come back if you want):
I admit I don't play the deck myself but I'm looking for thoughts on what you guys might play in the git probe slot (my GF needs to update her list).
My thought was just bringing back in more Apostle's Blessings and maybe playing some number of Spell Pierce in the main, that at least provides a bit more protection in an unknown environment.
So we get +4 real spells in our list. Having to pay mana for Peek seems bad, so that's out. Serum Visions, Sleight of Hand & Oath of Nissa are the draw spells i would be looking at. I think +2 Serum visions and +2 flex slots is what I'll test with first.
If the format slows down we might go for 4 Serum visions but until the speed of the format settle down I'd go with a split 2/1 or 1/2 between spell pierce and apostle's blessing and 1 extra creature, if we don't have information we fight with counterpsells and protection spells anyway, maybe spellskite will have to comeback in the main deck to steal fatal push and protect nexus
What about filling 2 of those spots up with Blossoms and 2 with serum visions?
you all miss that it is not 4, but a minimum of 5 or 6 free slots now...4 become immense is horrible now and most of our lists played a playset...
no idea how to fill the slots up. maybe mishra's bauble as delayed card draw, grave filler and option to smooth your draws by looking at your own library and shuffling it with a fetchland if needed...dont know if it's good though. just brainstorming
I agree with him in that Groundswell just became a lot more valuable to Infect. It's going to be significantly harder to get those 5 cards in the 'yard now.
Now that probe is banned, any thoughts on reverting back to the wild defiance, spellskite, spell pierce, possible sylvan scrying builds? That build was obviously less explosive but without probe to fuel BI and give us information it seems like the more defensive build is the way to go.
Just when I sold my other deck to focus on Infect, then this happened. I'm seriously getting thrown around by MTG whenever i'm playing a deck that has anything U. 1st was Treasure Cruise, 2nd was Twin and now this. @_@

EDIT - Thought i was in the Bant Eldrazi forum. Lol.
Anyway, some do put in a single Island in case blood moon gets played. Just a matter of preference i guess.

Why are 2 Forests better than 1 of each basic?

Perhaps just adding more pumps back in and putting the playset of Groundswell we all took out back in?

Legacy: Merfolk U; Shadow UB; Eldrazi Stompy C
Pauper: Delver U
Vintage: Merfolk U
Primers:
Using Plague Stinger instead of Blighted Agent doesn't seem that bad of a compromise and you get Phyrexian Crusader in the SB
(and Abrupt Decay/Fatal Push as well).
Because nobody could have seen this one coming.
