With the Fatal Push could it be possible to play one or more Glissa, the Traitor in the builds running Mishras Bauble. Glissa dodges Push more then she dodges bolt. Glissa is a good fighter. If you have 4 mana you can play her, push a creature and get back a Bauble.
Grim Flayer can increase the chances of getting a bauble.
8-2 post board against BG Tron tonight. G1 is still abysmal but G2-3 seem to have actual promise, assuming I mulligan aggressively for a sb piece. Here's the SB plan I've been using:
The kitchen finks is meh, but feels better than all of the other cards I dropped in this MU (mostly that it provides a faster clock than souls/kalitas).
The games that go best for me are undoubtedly the GQ/Fulm in to Extraction. After the games I played tonight, I'm honestly considering a 3rd Extraction, it is extremely good when paired w/ LD against them. the 2nd copy isn't dead either, as it can hit additional tron lands and make it even harder for them to draw enough lands to naturally cast their threats. Pithing Needle is surprisingly good here, as it allows you to stop a t1 map on the draw, which is how I won one of my games. Another note is that naming karn makes the Needle difficult for them to get rid of outside of o-stone, considering ugin can't touch it. It can also stop World Breaker's ability to be rebought.
So far it seems like the most effective plan is to go for the GQ/Fulm + Extract. The fulminator plan is much worse on the draw, as they can potentially assemble tron before you get to cast it, but pithing needle on map is quite good. The games that I lost were one that I was on the draw and couldn't GQ/Fulm them fast or often enough.
Current SB overall is:
2 Extraction
1 Disfigure
2 Damnation
1 Lily, the last hope
2 Kitchen Finks
3 Fulminator Mage
1 Crucible
2 Pithing Needle
1 Engineered Explosives
Look at the card. Now back to Jace. Now back to that card, now back to Jace! Sadly, it isn't Jace, but if it stopped being a junk rare and became relevant, it could act like it's Jace. Crack some Worldwake. What do you have? You have a Jace, the card you wish this card could be like. Look again. THE CARD IS NOW A $75 BILL. Anything possible when you play Magic with Jace and not junk rares. This is probably spam.
Man, so I have been gone 2-2 for the past 4 FNM's with Jund and Junk, pretty frustrating
Tonight, I said, "screw it, I'm taking out Fulms, Tron is almost unwindable"
Man, playing in the game that would determine who gets 3rd place was brutal. Games 2 and 3 I was very much missing my Fulminators as my opponent kept activating Loot House with his Blue Moon deck.
Also, I have been continuously unimpressed with Grim Flayer. He comes out as a 4/4 so late in the game it's hard to care, and he's just another target to bolt, and get worse with push. I wonder when Fatal Push is released if a lot of lists will cut him. As of now, I am beyond unhappy with Flayers. I'd rather just run more removal at this point. I guess I like him against less interactive decks.
Got enough store credit and turned in a card with store credit to get for my third copy of Blood Moon, in case jund decks start running it instead of Fulm in the upcoming meta
I'm not even sure right now, I really have to see what I'm doing, I'm having really mediocre results with GBx lately, some of it is a sideboard issue, I've been playing in new metas and different stores the past 4 fnms
Do you guys sideboard out your collective brutalities or sideboard in your collective brutalities against other control decks? So, against things like Grixis, Blue Moon, etc?
What do you guys find yourself cutting in general against control decks besides abrupt decays?
That's what I'm not sure of. The curve for junk may be significantly lower to the ground and lean, which could make Bob great in junk, it could also just fit in Flayers
I really have no clue right now
I do think Tasigur only gets better with this card's release
What do you guys think of some Tireless Trackers main? I've been making BG rock for a friend and running more threats that don't die to the first half of Fatal Push seems enticing.
no ideal how junk could beat with some deck with many counter spells, and a lot removal, and they just keep remove and counter the creature spell till the elspeth, suns's champion on battle
I found we really hardly to deal with control deck, they can swept the board, flash back removal and counter with Snapcaster Mage, transfrom the Delver of Secrets and with bolt or other damage to acceleration the dead, they have whole deck targeting us, and we need some luck to have LOTV with Lingering souls to deal with it
What do you guys think of Bitterblossom in Obliterock? I can't for the life of me figure out why it's never occurred to me before.
Blossom double-pumps tarmogoyf and enables delirium, which is pretty gross. It's fragile but probably we'll see less abrupt decay for a while as people try out push numbers.
That said: I would think that 1x gavony township and lingering souls woulds be pretty enticing if playing bitterblossom

Rex wants to try Bitterblossom instead of splashing W for Lingering Souls. With Fatal Push - limitations and all - Rock seems slightly more viable than before. If BB fills the role Souls do for Junk reasonably well, Rex shall be well pleased.
Gavony Township isn't tenable without some large changes that do not appeal to Rex.
Glissa, the Traitor likes Executioner's Capsule but it's probably just an FNM-level trick. Still, it's great fun when it works. Engineered Explosives is fun with Glissa too.

But still, maybe ill Start testing with a creature Base like this
4 goyf
4 Bob
3 ooze
2 Tasigur
Or completely switch bobs with flayers for the same configuration.
I really have no clue right now
I do think Tasigur only gets better with this card's release
@b07 Yeah Ive suggested this before, in a fitting meta tracker could be a great card. I will experiment with the card for sure.

UW Ephara Hatebears [Primer], GB Gitrog Lands, BRU Inalla Combo-Control, URG Maelstrom Wanderer Landfall
Would love to see some lists as we head into the first weekend of the new format
I can share my idea of the new junk list:
4 verdant catacombs
3 Marsh Flats
2 windswept heath
2 overgrown tomb
1 Godless Shrine
1 temple Garden
3 blooming marsh
3 Shambling Vent
1 gavony township
2 Swamp
1 forest
1 Plains
4 tarmogoyf
4 grim flayer
2 scavenging ooze
2 Tasigur, the golden Fang
Non creature spells
3 Inquisition of Kozilek
3 thoughtseize
3 fatal push
3 Path to Exile
2 abrupt decay
4 Lingering souls
1 maelstrom pulse
1 collective brutality
3 Liliana of the Veil
1 Liliana, the last hope
