IMHO the weakness of the Junk version is it doesn't have awesome low mana curve spells like lighting bolt and terminate, and path goes against the 1-for-1 strategy of the deck. This deck has too many 3 drops and I miss playing Bob. I've spent a lot of time thinking about 1 CMC or 2 CMC spells to play in order to improve the curve. People in this thread have convinced me to play more targeted discard, darkblast, and go for the throat. I may have found another spell and I'd appreciate feedback on it: qasali pridemage.
It could attack for 3 on turn 3, allows Goyfs and Rhinos to be bigger than our opponents, and it can take out courser of kruphix, edilion of the great reveal, blood moon, splinter twin, Amulet bloom, rest in peace, cranial plating, infect/affinity manlands, steel overseer, master of etherium, sword of light and shadow, bow of nylea, ect. It could take out edilion without taking damage and has good synergy with lily, as you can play it and sacrifice it later.
It hedges the deck running go for the throat and it lowers the mana curve. Plus the deck could rub Bob then. Lower curve but still has Rhino, Lily, and Souls. It would require more GW land cards like stirring wildwood and razor verge thicket, but that would make the mana base less greedy and less painful.

I don't know how it would fit into this particular deck, but I can tell you that, having played kibler Naya with 4 pridemage, the card is very versatile. It gives you an out to fringe combo decks, has targets against almost all the tier 1 decks, pushes your tarmogoyf past theirs, and can get into the red for 3 fairly early. With less kitchen fink decks running around, it's a nice card to have access to. The question ultimately is what do you cut?

Alright, so lets say your commander is Riku of Two Reflections. Combo commander, to be sure, but lets push this into the realm of absurd. Cast Thromok the Insatiable, devouring all your krakens to make a 281,474,976,710,656/281,474,976,710,656 Thromok. Where do we go from here though? Let your opponent cast Death Mutation on him! Thoughts?
It's close, but I'd go ahead and say no cigar here.
Pridemage is that one step too far for us, the step that takes you over the threshold into the Wilt-Leaf and Kibler Junk section of this particular Wedge. He's very diverse, no question, but he's just a little too aggro to really fit into Attrition-based Junk decks.
Think of how Voice was played briefly, and then still fell out of favor, at least in this version. Pridemage is similar, only doesn't provide a 2-for-1. On the offensive, he's pretty good if you can land him right. Even then, he's slower than Goyf or Tasigur against the combo decks, and doesn't get huge like Scooze can. But on defense, he's just a bear with an activated ability that ranges from good to marginally relevant. If his butt was bigger, or if he provided actual card advantage, he'd probably be a better fit, but as a 2/2 groundpounder with some slight upside he's just a little too lackluster here.
Scooze is a fine 2-drop in a similar vein, but the difference is that it gains life, and it can become massive if left alone. It also provides a different angle of disruption for us. We already have plenty of spells that kill permanents, but we are short on ways to interact with the graveyard. Sure, pridemage gets around a few corner cases, but he's also vulnerable to removal. When we already have access to the full set of Decay plus any other number of "Destroy target permanent" effects, Pridemage's ability is just a bit redundant. Exalted is nice, but Hierarch does that job just the same while also smoothing out the mana, and you generally are happy not attacking with him. Comparatively, pridemage is kinda sad if he's swinging as a 2/2 and not giving out exalted triggers, and even sadder when he sits back on blocking duty.
Mostly though, you aren't improving the mana here unless you forego Discard almost entirely, which is the other reason QP and VoR bring you into Selesnya-based decks. We are still a Golgari deck splashing white, and we generally could care less if we don't hit our white mana until turn 3+. These cards want you to have W/G in play on turn 2, which will generally cost you life if you can pull it off at all. Discard into Goyf or Scooze is one thing; discard into Pridemage is much harder to pull off and also much less exciting. There's just too much tension with Discard and Liliana to justify the W/G casting cost on a 2-drop, especially with Burn running rampant. We want to fetch basics as often as possible, but being forced to commit to white early makes that harder. Also, turn 2 is generally a great time to play or fetch a tapped land and cast a discard spell, or hold up removal if necessary and fetch EOT if not.
Our early curve can certainly be awkward, but it's also not terrible. With 6 2-drop creatures, 7 or so discard spells, and a full set of Decays, plus a few other cheap removal spells (path), we have plenty of early interaction and plays. Factor in how often we have to play a tapped land, and our early curve works out pretty well, despite feeling a bit clunky. If you really want more early plays, I would suggest Noble Hierarch. Alternatively, you could try out a Selesnya-based list, but that obviously takes you down a different path. Unfortunately though, Pridemage is just a bit too strange in this Golgari-based version.

If you want another 2 drop play dark confidant. You just have to make considerations for it like trimming 3 drops to put him in (hey sounds like what you wanted to do anyway!). The comparisons that Homeland made were to show Pridemage isn't quite good enough to make the cut.
Guys, i guess that you already talked about this, but what do you think is a better choice? Bob or Noble Hierarch? My meta is mostly aggro decks like Burn and Zoo, with some Midrange decks with Jund, RG Tron and, no joke, four or five BW Tokens. I'm a bit tired of Tasigur. I think is very slow and 4 mana to activate a random card draw... i don't know.. I'm thinking on taking out 2x Tasigur and 1x Kozilek for 3x Dark Confidant or taking out the same plus 1x Lingering Souls for 4x Noble Hierarch.

Three decks stick out with your meta, BW tokens, Burn and Zoo. First suggestion would be, come over to the dark side (Jund) we have cookies/better weenie board wipes. If you're dead set on staying with Junk I would shy away form Bob in your meta. High amounts of Burn and aggro make him more of a liability than a help. Overall your deck looks well equip to deal with your local meta. If you wanted to boost your aggro matchup the acceleration from 4x Hierarch would be a boon (still not a fan of it in the deck) letting you accelerate into your 3 and 4 drops. Maybe slot in a few Kitchen Finks to help out also?

Find something, Live For it, Fight for it, Die for it. Then it might get passed on the the next generation.
Top 4'ed (we split prize) an LGS tourney recently running this deck and it seemed to work really well. I made it based of the numerous versions of net decks out there and tweaked sideboard for our local meta, but not claiming this deck as mine since they all kind of look a like anyways.
Recently, I swapped 1 Abrupt Decay with 1 Zealous Persecution from the sideboard, it seems to be great against many matchups at my LGS (Affinity, Mirror, BW Tokens, even 2 for 1 snapcasters/cliques/pestermites). It's not great vs tron, but neither is the abrupt decay. My Hierarchs win me the mirror all the time as it usually stays in play (unless they want to use a decay or path on it), and turn 3 Rhino is amazing or even turn 2 goyf with path mana up. This deck plays 1-2 less Lilianas than most other decks I see and I think for the most part, it works better. If she lands, it's amazing, but vs Twin, she's slow if remanded or countered. The amount of lingering souls out there makes her sac terrible. Her great matchups are infect and boggles, but boggles usually runs 4 leylines post board anyways. Lastly, I don't think surgical is amazing, but there are 2 Tron players at our LGS and the MU is just too unfavorable. Either, turn 1, Thoughtsieze Karn into extract, or Fulminator Tron into extract (can be done as early as turn 2 with T1 hierarch). I have also found use extracting in response of snapcaster (won one of my matches recently by extracting bolt in response)
Anyways, this deck works well for me locally, not sure if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions. Appreciate any feedback.
Wrath of God is a stand in for Damnation. I'm missing a Thrun, the Last Troll. The sideboard is huge because from what I understand, the deck is a sideboard deck. I carry these cards around so I can build my sideboard as I perceive the meta game.
I'm new to the deck and have a tournament coming up and would like tips and reasons why a strange card is played and where the card is good. I've played in 4 FNM level events with the deck so far.
Played GB obliterock to a 3-1 finish last night. Not too bad for the first time playing a thoughtseize, goyf, lili deck.
Round 1, 2-1 against Esper control. Mull to 3 loses me a game. Lili wins me both of the next ones.
Round 2, 2-0 some weird Mardu reanimator deck with a ton of removal. Just ground him out with discard effects, he didn't see a reanimate spell and I beat him up with an unanswerable obliterator
Round 3, 2-0 little kid abzan
Siege Rhino is the reason I want to play obliterator. Both games, he could never attack, and when he eventually tried, I wrecked his board.
I have no idea how a deck like our boards against a wilt-leaf liege, smiter deck. Any suggestions?
Round 3, Naya zoo 1-2
Kinda choked abut this one cus I used to play that deck and I know how it runs. Cest la vie. punted game 3 with a poor block, loosing batterskull needlessly. Game 3, I have forest, treetop and 3 black mana sources with obliterator in hand.
Anyways, I'm pretty happy with these results. Gonna keep on this deck and iron out kinks as I see them come up.

Sorin, Solemn Visitor is great for the mirror and the lifegain he provides. He is also great because he can make fliers in a pinch.

Curious on the thoughts of running a 1-of Zealous Persection main deck? It has decent utility against Control, Mirror, Affinity, Infect, Tokens (for which I also run a 2-of Maelstrom Pulse), and Twin.
Zealous Persecution seems sub-par against control, but it is very good in all the other match-ups you mentioned. Only question is what to cut for it.

There are a few other videos like this on CFB if you peruse back long enough ago, but the most relevant is probably Reid's Jund video from last week. Watching vids will only get you so far, but between these two sets you should pick up the general jist of it. Sequencing your lands is key, and will make playing the deck get a lot better for you over time. Both the Jund and Junk videos show this pretty well I think. The rest you will pick up over time.

What are the bad match ups? So far the only one I've had is burn. I've played against Scapeshift but I've been lucky and I suspect Tron is poor.
Why do people play Sorin, Solemn Visitor? Is it for the mirror? Or for lifelink races?
I personally think Blood Baron of Vizkopa is better than Batterskull, but I have not played the deck enough to know for sure.
Should I be playing Dismember over Path to Exile? I understand why you would want something over Path, but I don't like the idea of paying 4 life.
Here is my deck list:
1x Forest
2x Godless Shrine
3x Inquisition of Kozilek
4x Liliana of the Veil
3x Lingering Souls
1x Maelstrom Pulse
3x Marsh Flats
2x Overgrown Tomb
2x Path to Exile
1x Plains
2x Scavenging Ooze
4x Siege Rhino
1x Slaughter Pact
2x Stirring Wildwood
2x Swamp
4x Tarmogoyf
2x Tasigur, the Golden Fang
1x Tectonic Edge
1x Temple Garden
4x Thoughtseize
2x Treetop Village
1x Twilight Mire

2x Feed the Clan
3x Fulminator Mage
2x Golgari Charm
1x Lingering Souls
1x Path to Exile
1x Scavenging Ooze
1x Sigarda, Host of Herons
1x Sorin, Solemn Visitor
2x Stony Silence
3x Timely Reinforcements
2x Unravel the Aether
1x Wrath of God
Wrath of God is a stand in for Damnation. I'm missing a Thrun, the Last Troll. The sideboard is huge because from what I understand, the deck is a sideboard deck. I carry these cards around so I can build my sideboard as I perceive the meta game.
I'm new to the deck and have a tournament coming up and would like tips and reasons why a strange card is played and where the card is good. I've played in 4 FNM level events with the deck so far.

Blood Baron has been great for me so far, have not lost a game where he landed yet. Batterskull is very good and it is just a personal choice if you run Baron over Skull.
Tron and Burn are tough matchups, but winnable. Merfolk is a pain as well.
