I bet the general consensus is that Galvanic Blast is just better.

@Sxnr1se: I played Day's Undoing for a while and it did win me a game or two, but in general, I didn't like it. Most of the time it sat in my hand as it's only good when you're out of cards and your opponent is undeveloped. It's also good when it draws you two Galvanic Blasts, but that won't happen very often.
@Sxnr1se: I ran Day's Undoing for a while when it first appeared. I had a similar experience to pzbw7z. On occasions it was amazing (e.g. dumpiing Twin's carefully manicured hand while refilling my own really gave me a warm feeling inside ), but in my experience, far more often it felt like a 'win more' play or was just stuck in my hand for fear of helping my opponent at least as much as myself, especially post board.
@Rabbit2310: Regarding Temur Battle Rage, I had two and then a single main deck for a few weeks, but rarely got to use it to full effect. Eventually it moved to the side and then went completely. I haven't missed it. As Ayiluss said, Galvanic Blast just seems better in far more situations.
Anyone have much experience playing vs Eldrazi Tron? I'm going to be attending a couple tournaments soon and I hear the meta in Montreal is full of that deck. I'd love any play advice, sideboard suggestions or anything else that might give me an edge in the match-up. Thanks!

Havent played against it yet, but i am building it.
Hi to everyone!
I'm an ex blue player who played exclusively (in real, at least) blue decks, starting with UR Twin, going Grixis Twin, then UW Control, UWR, UWR Nahiri, Grixis Control and then Delver. I've decided, with much pain, to never play blue anymore since I think Control and Delver strategies are very underwhelming in this format and more reasons after that (I won't make a discussion about that). Anyway, I decided to change archetype and I finally forced myself into Affinity after much time I've pondered building it, after the Twin ban. I was between this and Infect and I went for this deck, which seems funnier to me and more resilient.
So, this is the decklist that took me undefeated in my FNM:
Edit: I might try 3x Day's Undoing, the card seems very strong in the majority of the situations.
Congratulations on the result. Affinity is a fine deck as it's consistent tier-one status here indicates. It's a deck I like to play every now and then at FNM but not too often. That's because it's easy to hate out. You'll find people start to main-deck the hard stuff if you show up with Affinity too often.
I also get good results with Grixis Delver in FNM although it has bad match-ups. Affinity has some too. I also play a Zoo variant and a Rock variant. Once and a while I trot out the tokens but not very often as it is a less effective deck. My Hateberars turned into a Persist-Bolster-Blasting Station combo mash-up and I don't plan to take it out again until it's tuned up and probably converted to Abzan. The Knights were fun when the kids played Zombies and Rakdos, but those days are gone.
In short, my experience dictates that one should not bring the same thing to FNM too often. People will adjust. I kid you not when I say I've seen main-deck Stony Silence at FNM.
I commented quickly on Day's Undoing already but if you think you want to try it, I'd recommend going with four as it's not much good at all unless you can pull the trigger quickly. I'd also recommend you side it out whenever you are on the draw; it's just not going to work as well. I'd loan you my four copies if I could as they aren't likely to be used anytime soon.
Yeah I think so too, but I'm only running 1 (and sb slots are hard to come by haha) and I'm wondering what else I should be doing to swing the match my way. I wasn't at all worried about the deck pre-Walking Ballista since we're favored against both Tron and Bant Eldrazi so this seemed to fall on the same spectrum, but I fear that card may swing the match-up quite heavily in their favor. I'll try to get a few reps in on Cockatrice before the event I suppose.
Fellow Affiniticiones, I'm looking for some inspiration.
Before, I agree, casting 2-color spells was hard.
Now we have access to 8 Glimmervoids with Spire of Industry. That's 16 sources of rainbow colour in the deck.
It would be nice if you could participate without immidiate dismissing other people's suggestions.
Hopefully we can start a community brainstorm with lots of out-of-the-box suggestions.
Anyway you slice it, this will cut the artifact count and/or the creature count. I've ridden Blinkmoth Nexus and Cranial Plating home before so I wouldn't want to cut them. Turning on a Blinkmoth or an Inkmoth Nexus can pump Master of Etherium out of the danger zone or just speed up the kill. Inkmoth provides an alternate wincon that can be faster or can win through silly things like Worship (the card, not the practice) or Angel's Grace.
Darksteel Citadel helps with the artifact count. Replacing them would help against Stony Silence and other artifact hate so I guess that would be the best place to try this.
The other option would be to replace Springleaf Drum, but that would slow the deck down and would cut the artifact count.
Sorry, no out-of-the-box here I guess, but good luck with it and report if you have good results.
Hi guys! how do you feel scapeshift (RG, 4c) is and how do you sideboard? got beaten by RG twice on last tournament and was feeling abit unhappy on that! any tips?
Against pure combo decks like Scapeshift and Ad Nauseam, Master of Etherium is much better than Etchy, coz you clock them faster and give them fewer draws before they die.
Master is often bigger than 3 toughness, so Bolt can't remove it. It leads to more turn 4 kills. Also Thoughtseize helps against combo.
I play master main deck and post-board swap them for Etched Champion in BGx, Jeskai, Grixis or other grindy matchups.
I've done this for years as well. Master is usually better. Champ is so durndly that without Plating, he's just a dog like most of the rest of our creatures.
Ghirapur Æther Grid is a pretty good side-board card to bring in against Lantern, but really, if you don't win before they get their pieces in play, you probably won't.
Game 3, lost 1-2 against Lantern. I lost g1 to Bridge, won g2 with a good clock and 2 Pierces for Lantern and Bridge, and lost g3 due to his Ghirapur Aether Grid, dealing 7 damage to me each turn. I somewhat found a way to deal damage through a Bridge with an Ornithopter and 2 Pests, but other than those I could have done nothing against double Bridge and triple Needle for Ravager, Plating and Grid.
May I ask how did you die to Grid if there was a Needle on it? Or am I missing something?
Enchantment hate may be necessary in some environments. I used to use Ray of Revelation for the Flashback but the new Fragmentize could be just what the doctor ordered.
Sorcery speed is lame, but one just can't beat one-CMC! The flexibility to also hit artifacts is very good.

Dispatch sees some side-board play. It's a fine card; if you don't have Metalcraft you're either doing it wrong or you're loosing so badly it doesn't matter. Dismember sees more play but it's mainly for Infect, I think. At least, that's why I use it.
Played the Affinity-less Robots tonight. Beat the bye, Mardu, and two Elves decks. Don't leave home without your Whipflares!
I till haven't gotten Pia's Revolution out. I drew it only once tonight and didn't get to cast it. I do side it out sometimes, as I did in the Elves match-ups. Elves don't interact that much and I either got a Whipflare or I didn't. I did just manage to outrace them once or twice.
Cheers. Finished 9-5-1. Will do a tournament report later - pretty wrecked right now.
I faced;
2 byes
Ad Nauseum
Mirror
Breach Shift
4 colour midrange
Junk
Esper control
Melira Company
Day 2:
Zoo? With burning tree emmisary, goblin bushwhacker etc
Uwr control
Suicide Zoo
Merfolk
Bant Spirits
8 rack
There was a tonne of variery. Most people i spoke to had barely repeated archetypes they faced over the tournament.
Cheerios didnt get top 8, thank god. Wzds pls ban Retract
I know some folks did post about it back when it was Standard-legal. It didn't make a lasting impression here.

But in all seriousness stick a plating when they are tapped out and etched champion. Try to avoid getting blown out by electrolyze.
