Also if you wanted to be really cheeky you could try boarding in some number of sower of temptation since midrange decks are going to cut all the spot removal they can against you. Sower is also pretty crazy if you get to blink it with resto after trading the stolen guy off or something. It's probably not that good against zoo but they probably aren't packing guys you can't threads or bolt anyway.
If you wanna pull the trigger and beat Tron the best way I've found is a combination of Bribery and Commandeer. This was when I was testing pre banning and Tron was my only awful matchup so I was overboarding, 6 cards in total that didn't really work for other matches. You Path Wurmcoils, Commandeer Karns, Bribery the Emrakul. It won me 4/5 games easily. The loss was only when I drew 0 Commandeers, 1 Bribery, and my opponent kept on 2 Oblivion Stones that got in under my counter magic which ruin Bribery.
But this is a silly plan for a man who wants to decimate Tron and no one else by dedicating 6 sideboard slots.
Tron is also really bad right now. It was 8/356 decks not classified as other, and it had an abysmal 48% win ratio on day 2. It's probably safe to say the deck is not that important to kill right now.
You played JESUS?!?! I heard none of his guys stay in the graveyard, and once you think you have him beat he ALWAYS comes back to win within three turns. I like...WORSHIP him.
I am running Detention Sphere MB which takes care of everything but Thrun, and 2x Celestial Flare SB. As soon as they attack with Thrun just get them to sac it. Or Verdict or Terminus, those work too.
And if they don't attack with Thrun, then I will just go over the top with Restos.
I've just about got my list ready for GP Richmond, but one thing I'm looking for opinions on is Mana Leak vs Remand. Right now I'm running 3/1. I don't really like any other split as much, how do people feel about switching to all leaks or all remands? Or some other split? Or finding cuts for more 2-mana counters? What/how many do people use?
Edit: Also, I'm running MD Anger, for people looking for a little more consistency in casting it when you need to, I'm trying a singleton Cascade Bluffs. I started with two, but the hands with double bluffs are miserable, even when you can filter. Rugged Prairie could be better, I just value the ability to more consistently cast both Anger and Cryptic over the ability to Helix with the filter. I'm a fan of the one-of Bluff.

I don't say if D-Sphere is straight up bad, but, since those card is 4 cmc ++ then, wrath is sufficient. Wrath of God, Terminus, Hallowed Burial, Supreme Verdict

Mana Leak & Remand split is good, Only Mana Leak is good, Only Remand is straight up bad. We are not a tempo deck, so don't consider Remand as "a counter which cantrip", but "a cantrip which has counter".

That's a 100% right IMO. I'm 3/2 in Mana Leak/Remand right now, and I think that's where I want to be as long as Jund type of decks don't become prominent again.
For all those discussing Mana Leak vs Remand, please make sure you're aware that in the mirror you Remand your own spells (and Mana Leak generally does nothing).
Going to board whipes. Is terminus or supreme v better? Terminus gets around indestructible but helps pod decks. I can't decide. Or no board whipes.
I prefer terminus. It has pseudo instant speed (remand / think twice into terminus is backbreaking) AT 1 CMC. +1 cost at 6 cmc doesn't bother us much (of course the extra casting cost really counts if it's <5 cmc).

Absolutely. U also need to remember that playing remand to your own spell is mediocre. Even if it's a plus, I won't considering that kind of value when evaluating remand.
The only reason i play remand is it's a cantrip which counter and it wonders vs flashback.
and, looking at the last big event, uwr control seems few. so maindecking solution against minority of the meta is not too good. i didn't mean u shouldnt use remand, what i meant is that's not a good reason to use remand.

Supreme Verdict is a better main board option as you want to be in control of when you can cast your sweeper and terminus is often too slow or gets top decked at the wrong time. I personally don't like Terminus out of the board over Hallowed Burial as the reduced mana cost is very relevant. Terminus and Burial are both good vs. pod and living end as they prevent the creatures from going the the yard so Voice, Redcap, and Finks can't come back and Lark/Witness can't get value later. I currently run 2 Verdicts main and 1 Hallowed Burial in the side along with an engineered explosives and a pyroclasm for my sweeper package.

Is that so? Well then, when your key spell eats a counterflux, lets see if you want to remand your own spell or not.

i didn't say it is bad ("mediocre" is different to "bad"). What i said is I won't consider that value when evaluating remand. It just a "cute bonus".

Remand on your own spell is the best use for the card against other blue decks. I think it's the number one draw to running the spell in a Control deck where it would normally be awful.
People aren't running Remand over Mana Leak, or any sort of split; they're running Remands over Think Twice.
I see. Remand's been a recent add for me, and I was finding myself thinking the same thing, that it felt more like a Think Twice with a different bonus, while still treating it as a counter. Glad I mentioned it, this lets me see Remand very differently. I had started with 4 Leaks and 4 Think Twice, and after testing Shadow of Doubt I replaced two TT's with them. Big fan of that card. I could go back up to 4 Leaks and cut TT to one. Shadow has been good to me. I'd love to hear more discussion on any of the above cards.

Indestructible doesn't really exist in Modern. Use Supreme Verdict. It helps a lot versus the blue creature decks.
Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
