^ What do you have for Stoney Silence if you took out Wear/Tear? Stoney Silence will be very prevalent, again I would have an answer for it. It's pretty much game over if it hits.
Also, @Brandon ditch the Dispatch(s) dude...
I've been playtesting Seal of Primordium as a 1 of in my sideboard. I combine it with proactive cards like Thoughtseize, but it's really the only thing that can handle a Stony Silence resolving.

Thoughtseize is definitely a proactive answer and kind of a catch all. I will bring in Spell Pierce typically, since it's another catch all answer. I'd rather have flexible answers than bullets in a deck that can't really search things out

Hey all, I've been playing affinity for a few weeks now but I've been wondering: Is there any merit to the idea of making a slower robots.dec with things like tidehollow sculler, MB Ethersworn Canonist, and Tempered steel as well as some other disruption instead of hoping to drop hand and swing?
I'm considering tempered steel mostly because I seem to win more games with swarms of thopters and signal pests (most often getting boosts from an Overseer) and in situations with 4 evasive creatures with a couple +1/+1's on board, Tempered Steel makes a loud thud when it hits the table. Making your manlands actually scary without having to pay to both turn it on and equip it with Plating is also nice.
Does anybody else think going up to the fourth Thoughtseize in the sideboard would be worth it? I'm at 4 Galvanic Blast and 4 Thoughtcast main, why not have access to the full set of the best discard spell for games two and three?

Just a thought, let me know what you think!
Tempered Steel doesn't fit in the usual Affinity lists because of it's color requirements. You would have to build your deck quite different from the standard list to fit Tempered Steel, Ethersworn Canonist and Tidehollow Sculler in it. I won't rule it out that such a deck can work, but you will get something that plays different.

This took Vipin Chackonal to the finals of GP Richmond and there is really no reason besides personal preference not to do it.
What do you guys side board right now to deal with Jund? I got a local tourney tonight that my deck always does well in but my friends Jund deck has won 2 weeks straight and is usually the toughest deck I face.

I honestly like my matchup vs Jund. I bring in pierce, relic, and thoughtseize. You can also bring in Spellskites if you have them. Etched champion is incredible against Jund and always has been. He's you're best route to winning against Jund. I've just personally always felt Jund was a favorable matchup. I suggest testing it and seeing what works for you.
Unfortunately I have no Thoughtsieze. Have yet to make that investment. My SB does already have Spell Pierces and Spellskites though. What are the thoughts on Blood Moon? And I run 3 Etched main deck. Is it worth SBing a fourth in anyone's opinion.

Some people have them in their board. I do advise having another side if your feeling like you need them more often. They are great in quite a few matches.
Personally I'm okay with just 3, I have 3 md and 1 master of Etherium and I like it. I also have another Master in the side. The main reason is I board them out sometimes for another master etc against quite a bit of my meta because theres a lot of Twin/storm and the mirror.
Blood moon is okay in my opinion but I've never personally liked it, I hate shutting off my man lands and its usually not an auto win, which is what I'd want for something of that cost. Some decks definitely have a more difficult time dealing with you when it lands but it usually just slows them down a bit. As for Tron, I've heard people advocate Blood moon for them but I dislike giving them the red mana to cast their low cost wipes that early in the game.
P.S.- Also, if you feel like you need some sort of pseudo Thoughtseize then Duress is a viable option until you invest in the Thoughtseize but the diversity of things you can choose with Thoughtseize make it much more valuable in my opinion and definitely worth the investment.

I am at two Thoughtseize in the board atm and I've been debating on going up to 3 or 4, I'm going to try 3 for the moment being but I've definitely loved Seize so far and am anticipating it to be great bumping up to 3 or 4. I do suggest trying it as well. Though most of it is just personal preference.
It's just a great catch all card and can sometimes when the game on the spot.
I like the idea of Duress. And I have plenty of them. Hmmmmm. Seems like it would still hit most of the cards that are problematic. I have IoKs too. That may be an option.

Duress over IoK though for sure, Duress hits all the things that are painful i.e. Shatterstorm/Stoney Silence/Creeping Corosion except for creatures which Seize would do too. I would definitely suggest using duress until you can obtain Thoughtseizes.

Yeah, Duress it is. IoK misses quite few problematic cards. Thanks for all the thoughts, guys. Now I'm off to see how I do.

What match ups do you find it the best? It can really go in the board against anyone besides aggro.

Honestly, I bring it in whenever the other deck has a very problematic card. Stoney silence/corrosion/shatter storm are good examples. Or even against pod because sniping a pod is great. Also, storm/ad nauseum for self explanatory reasons.
My SB is very different but MD the only difference I have between your list and mine is that I cut a Memnite for a Galvanic Blast, which you have in the board instead. There's a lot of Twin at my LGS, so having access to more blasts is a necessity MD for me.
In the board, I'm not a huge fan of RiP because it messes with Ravager. I like Grafdigger's instead, as it's more hateful against Melira Pod. I also don't worry much about Living End, as it's a pretty good match up, as long as you only keep hands that are super fast and don't have to totally commit g2, or hands with Ravager, or have Spell Pierce/Thoughtseize. Speaking of Spell Pierce, the card is insane in Affinity, and having a 2/2 split or 3/3 split in the SB to bring in all together in some amount is not out of the question. SP and TS answer any problem card in existence, and having a split is nice, given that SP can time walk them on their turn, and save your creatures on lethal attacks at instant speed, while Thoughtseize can preemptively do the same.
Also, I don't like Blood Moon, but that's up to you. I posted the reason I don't like it a page or two back. I prefer Choke if you're looking for that kind of effect against UWR/RUG Twin or similar.
