Awesome job with this cast...unfortunately it makes the rest of us feel impotent. Having Lucas Siow on is an obvious plus, but I definitely look forward to the next one. It was cool to see props given to Chandra, Pyromaster...a very good card that people have been too quick to dismiss on the forums.

This podcast should just be one person interviewing Lucas Siow.
You sound like you came here from reddit. They were pushing for that too.
The thing is, Lucas is not the deciding factor in this podcast. He was actually the last person to offer his services. The show actually does belong to The Dead Weatherman, and I know his views on how the show should be run are a bit different. As good of a podcast as that would be, we feel that we do a good job of covering all of the bases between us, and though there are others who feel as you do, the people who like the Cast just the way it is FAR outnumber you guys. So while we do value your opinion and understand that Lucas is a very strong part of the show, we must politely dismiss this suggestion.
With that out of the way, Hey everybody! My name is Imnotbrown, but you may know me as Billy, from the aforementioned podcast! I'm in charge of editing and audio things in general, as well as posting the podcast! Thanks for all of your support of the show, both on here, and on reddit. We will definitely be making more episodes in the future, and plan for this to be a biweekly airing. Our hopes are for the next episode to air sometime later this week or next, where we discuss rotation, theros spoilers, and plans for GP Detroit! See you then!
I'm glad we have Billy for public relations. Because my rejoinder to this notion of Siow being the only castmember worth a damn is far more rude.
Which is partly why I held my tongue. The other part is that I'm not going to let any of you ruin this for me. I've achieved something I love so anyone with a problem with that can stuff it.

Then I politely suggest you don't post it on /r/spikes.
Then I politely suggest you don't post it on /r/spikes.
I'm afraid I don't follow. We are discussing /r/spikes, the subreddit intended for competitive magic the gathering. Were we discussing a subreddit intended for some sort of competitive podcast tournament, i might feel inclined to agree. But we are not. We are discussing The Snapcast, a production that myself, Cam, Lucas, and Matthew spent weeks planning, developing, and brainstorming, and one that I spent 5 hours editing. You are more than welcome to have your opinions, and suggest them to us, but you are one of two people who have expressed this opinion. We have already given our answer, and to suggest that after talking for an hour and a half over the results of two of the most influential modern tournaments of the year, that we do not belong on /r/spikes, which is, and I qoute, "The serious, play-to-win side of the Magic: The Gathering community," an insult to the entire cast of the show, Lucas included.
I apologize that we were unable to meet your demands, but again, it is not yours, nor is it Lucas' decision to make. If you are unable to watch our work because of this choice, we apologize for that, but we never went into this expecting 100% approval.
The other part is that I'm not going to let any of you ruin this for me.
Hey man, you're talkin like the world's out to get you... it's not, just people tend to be less polite and more straightforward about what they want when they are on the internet and not talking face of face.
I've achieved something I love so anyone with a problem with that can stuff it.
Here here, QFT, all that jazz. I'm happy you finally got it all put together and are enjoying it. Congrats

Not to speak for Rickster, who I don't know nor am I defending, but there's no reason to be overly defensive. I took it as a sarcastic criticism. Nothing more.
As a first time listener, I greatly enjoyed the show...but I could tell you very little about anyone, and their opinion besides Lucas'. This is not a criticism of Lucas. Nor is it a criticism of the rest of the members. It's simply an observation, and one that I think you guys who be better served by listening to rather than "dismissing".
It's great when you guys can have high profile guests, but what attracts anyone to a decent podcast is chemistry among the hosts, and it's hard to identify that chemistry when one person is doing most of the talking.
Again this isn't a knock on Lucas or any of the other guys. Everyone knew their cardboard, and had interesting things to say, but maybe you guys could develop a system of cues, and make sure questions are always directed at specific members to keep everything fresh.
Regardless, keep up the good work.

I do understand where you are coming from, and I'll admit that my defense of the show may have come off as overly aggressive. I understand your observation, and have no intentions of dismissing it. My response to Rickster stemmed from already explaining that his request would be unlikely to be met, and his persistence in the face of refusal.
We knew what we were getting into when we started this podcast, and we wanted to make sure that we didn't come off as "Three guys talking about modern with Lucas Siow." We all try to make sure that we stand out as having our own points of view and our own contributions. But Lucas is definitely going to stand out as the more knowledgeable for the first couple of episodes, until we get more comfortable with each other.

Well, I callously replaced them and, finally, the SnapCast lives: https://soundcloud.com/thesnapcast/the-snapcast-episode-1
It's a little awkward (especially me - I'm naturally introverted and shy) but we'll get better.
Enjoy
Also, this should be in the Modern Community forum. Mods, please move it?
Thanks to Rivenor for the signature and XenoNinja for the Avi!

But yeah, in all fairness, this should be moved to modern community, otherwise, Modern Domain and myself would be posting in the modern pub, too.
Speaking of which, you guys should give modern domain a listen. They do a really great job, and put out episodes with a fair amount of consistency.
