I know this have probably been asked before, but to me it seems a little odd that both Standard and Legacy have their Budget sections and Modern does not.
Not everyone can afford the top tier cards; and some like to challenge their deck building skills with cheaper stuff
Would it be possible to make a Budget section?

I think it was discussed before, but honestly Modern isn't all that well developed of a format yet, in my opinion. Many decks that aren't in the "established" section will definitely be budget because they are still being brewed and therefore the cards they use aren't usually being netdecked or skyrocketing yet. In essence, it doesn't make much sense.
There are established successful decks like storm and soul sisters that ARE budget whereas budget in legacy is more than many of the established decks in modern. I suppose it depends on what you define as budget.

Ah ok, the reason Im asking is that Im gonna move out of standard (started a few months ago) and have been taking looks at budget legacy decks and some decks in the modern format (and making some, like a U/B Ninja deck)
How new is modern btw?
And if you guys could link me to these established "budget" modern decks that would be great
My definition for budget is around $100-$250 or less for a whole deck and SB, of course this varies from person to person, and like everyone else I prefer to spend as little as possible

There are thread options in our forum, that let you tag a thread as "budget" because of that, and because the need for "Budget" is less, we dont have a dedicated sub.

Thanks! I like the look of the UR Storm deck and the UTron
To of the ones he listed, I have a few comments: Burn - Can do very well at local game shops if you can outpace them quickly, but there are several decks that can edge out of your kill range and then trump you. It's. deck that you would need a second one as well so people don't edge you out, but can be explosive if unexpected. Infect - Similar to burn in that its explosive, but easily hated gainst. One of the most popular sideboard options, Spellskite destroys the deck as well as the two most popular forms of removal:Lightning Bolt and Path to Exile. MonoU Tron - On paper it seems solid and does well from time to time posting results on MTGO, but for some reason hasn't had a breakout at any big events. Fast decks can outpace it, but its a solid core. I think its just that there are many players of this archetype. UR Storm - Recently had a big ban against it that made it much more fragile and now is very dependent on the graveyard. Easy to be hated against, but is VERY explosive. Living End - Recently had its first big tournament success by going top 16. This deck is definitely unique and a great combo deck. Not as budget as it once was, but it abuses creatures that sacrifice themselves. Soul Sisters - The most solid of the budget options if you ask me. I love this deck and, although there are certain decks that destroy it (most decks have a bad match up), it is very resilient and can be explosive. It's a fun deck to pilot. Goblins - Spotty MTGO appearances, weak to spot removal of any kind.

Only Idyllic Tutor and blood moon are somewhat expensive in the main
Actually you can probably make a budget version for 15$ and play it, I have seen it done it was pretty funny, I think he went 2/2.
If you don't want the tutors I advise changing the deck quite a bit and running 3-4 march of the machines while replacing the enchantments for something to keep you alive such as path to exile or control magic
Since it has not been mentioned I thought that I would point this very funny deck out

I think restore balance decks started to struggle because Remand is so popular now and that really does them in. Only need to hit a deck here and there that runs it in order for it to be in trouble.
Also, Path to Exile is one of the most popular cards and it strips the board of your win condition.

I guess MonoU Tron doesn't have good IRL results mainly because on events like GPs you usually need to get through a bunch of Burn and random rogue decks during the first rounds (most of them aggro decks). The deck is well positioned versus the Tier 1 decks of the format, but has horrible matchups versus Burn variants. (that and it's not very popular on paper Magic)

While I'm not sure whether it's the right place to discuss this, I'm not sure how much I like MonoU Tron. It's in the weird place of not running Sylvan Scrying (or Ancient Stirrings, Thirst for Knowledge doesn't dig nearly as deep) AND needing Tron to win. The reason that UW Tron's so good is because you can never hit Tron and just win either through Gifts Ungiven combo or by Colonnade beats. Additionally, tricky Gifts piles gives 4 more ways for the deck to assemble Tron (Gifts being too slow for mono-U without the W disruption).
MonoU Tron's by no means a terrible deck, it's just that it hasn't been latched onto by the pros in its current iteration because it's in a really awkward spot, and has really bad matchups vs. the growing plethora of aggressive MUs. I've played it and there are just a lot of times you have awkward hands or awkward plays.
If you do decide to go with MonoU Tron, it's by no means a bad deck, and I see it as a stepping stone to UW Tron. But I'd definitely look into all the options first.

With Mox Opal's recent price surge, I would consider Affinity no more expensive than RG Tron, which is another powerful deck.
